After a tiring drive it was great to be greeted by Ciaran who took our bags yup the stirs to the room. Good introduction and explanation about everything in Zion! We had a good room, good facilities, seemed to keep a little too warm at night but nothing serious. Spotless, and a good cleaning each day. Enjoyed the cookies. The... More

What a great place to stay. First impressions are always important and the welcome from our host was warm and understanding considering our unexpected late arrival. Novel House was purposely built as a B&B establishment rather than being a conversion of an existing house. Consequently, the room was spacious, clean and beautifully presented. Although the rooms are named after authors,... More

Bit Different Stayed two nights in the Robert Louis Stevenson Room. If you like tartan and/or Scotland, this is the room for you. Interesting selection of Stevenson memorabilia covered the walls, tables, etc., and the number of pillows makes going to bed an engineering feat. (We, too, could not figure out the short sheets, but one easily adjusts.) Room was... More

Four of us stayed in the Jane Austin and R L Stevenson rooms for 2 nights. They were both upstairs rooms but that wasn't a problem as Ciaran helped us with our bags. They were both very different in style but equally comfortable and luxurious. It was a shame that each room had a large TV which dominated. The B... More

We spent two nights in the CS Lewis room and it was wonderful. Novel House Inn was our favorite stay on our 10 day trip around the Grand Circle Loop. Our host was gracious and very helpful. It was so relaxing on the patio having cookies and lemonade while conversing with the other guests as the sun went down. We... More

I can only add to what others have said about Novelhouse. We stayed in the Walt Whitman room, which was spacious and well-appointed. Our host was extremely gracious and informative about not only Zion park but the area surrounding the park. The b&b was conveniently located in the middle of the main road, close to the shuttle buses that take... More

Stayed at Novel house during recent vacation. Beautiful and clean. Every room had western author's theme. We stayed in the Louis L'Amour room. Fantastic decorations. Best room we ever stayed in. They don't serve breakfast there anymore, but you get a voucher to the restaurant across the street, a 1 minute walk. Breakfast menu was great. The Inn is a... More

To start we planned our trip to the Utah National Parks rather late and realized getting into the Park lodges was virtually impossible. As it turned out we were delighted we stayed here rather than the Lodge at Zion. This place was wonderful. Very bed and breakfast with beautifully decorated rooms and meticulously clean. Coffee and tea are available all... More

We spent four nights at the Novel House. The room (as well as the entire inn) was large, beautifully furnished, modern and comfortable. Our host, Kieren, was warm, thoughtful and helpful. The house itself has shared spaces for reading, or enjoying the coffe, tea and cookies served in the afternoon. Breakfast is provided via vouchers at two local restaurants, both... More

We picked Novel House Inn rather than a hotel, because we wanted the bed and breakfast experience. Novel House is more of a boutique hotel than a bed and breakfast. To me bed and breakfast involves having your breakfast on site with the opportunity to chat with fellow guests and the hosts. The only time we ever saw our host... More
