Expect loud, crowded , surrounding. At night the bright lights make it seem like a prison camp. Get one with a heater and hope it works as it gets cold in those tents. If you want to really enjoy Yosemite, stay out of the tent cabins!

We stayed for three nights in a heated tent in Curry Village. It was great. The heater kept us warm and the shower and bathroom facilities were adequate. There were several camps going on which made some of the evenings and mornings a bit noisy, but they managed it well. The wifi was spotty in the lounge, but given that... More

I was torn between reserving a Curry Village tent with no heater vs. Housekeeping Camp. Here's a few tips if you are trying to make that decision too. There is absolutely no cooking allowed at the Curry Village tents, not even heating up water for coffee. Also, during the Spring months, there is an outdoor school program with over 300 students... We stayed at Yosemite cabins in April. We loved the cabins and the village. The Weather in april on Yosemite can be tricky, heat by day and cold at night. We stayed in cabins with heating and was a good choice. Compared to hotels within the park is a bargain and I think staying inside the park is fundamental to... More

We stayed in the tent cabins in Curry Village May 3-5. It was such a quick trip, we were so glad we stayed right in the valley! Overnight lows were in the 40s and we brought sleeping bags and were not cold at all. They do provide wool blankets, but if you get cold, bring a sleeping bag or get... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend about a week ago for one night. We stayed in a tent with no heater and it was a perfectly adequate stay(loads of blankets provided). There are not too many places to stay within the Yosemite national park grounds so beggars cannot be choosers here. Forget about wifi for one night and get to... More

The tent cabins are comfortable, but certainly not spacious. We were in a heated cabin which was nice to have in April when it is still chilly. There is one double bed/cot and a single. It was nice to have an easy to use safe and rack for our things. The bear storage area outside was easy to use. The... More

We stayed in an unheated tent for two nights in April. The first night was OK, the second night was freezing. Although we had around 8 blankets on our bed, it was still freezing (the blankets are not that thick). The location is excellent in the middle of Yosemite, the facilities are clean and plenty. The tents however did not... More

We stayed one night in a cabin at Curry Village with three other friends. The room was cosy however a little cramped for 5 people. The rec room was the only place wifi was available but we found that to be very crowded with a very poor wifi connection. We also found that there wasn't a lot of dinning options... More

We were in a heated tent cabin for 4 days - definitely needed the heater at that time of year! They were basic, but were as advertised - and they were more than sufficient for our needs. The bear-proof storage locker was large enough for all our food and products with smells/fragrances. The shower and toilet blocks were kept clean... More
