I am s southern boy. I dont know much about snow. An unexpected snow storm a few days before Thanksgiving caught me off guard. Chains on a new rented 2011 Sonata, I took off on a four hour journey though the most beautiful forest I have ever been in. Only 40 miles from Yosemite, I drove 10 miles per hour... More

We stayed here in April for 2 nights in an unheated tent. Our first plan was to pitch our tent on a campground, but we were way too late for reservations. First of all, we were really happy that we had our sleeping bags with us, because it was freaking cold at night (at least close to zero degrees celcius).... More

Okay, yes its beautiful and great, but when I'm paying $150 a night for a basic cabin, I at least expect hot water in the shower, and I didn't get it. That said, the bathroom and shower facilities were exceptionally clean.

We visited Yosemite from Monterey for a one-night trip which is about a 6 hour drive. We arrived in the park as it was getting dark and 2 hours later in the pitch black we rolled up to Curry Village to see Half-Dome glistening in the moonlight. The snow had fallen on the ground and it was like a scene... More

The cabins in the Curry Village is to one side of the registration office. The tents are on the other side of the registration office. Great location in the woods and next to the mountain. The cabins cover a large area in the woods. Each building with a large deck has 3-4 units. There is a bathroom in each unit... More

I'm not really sure how to review this accomodation. Curry Village tents are exactly as advertised, so I feel bad giving it a subpar review, but at the same time, we could have had a much better experience. We decided to stay in Curry Village because everyone told us to stay inside the park, and Curry Village was the only... More

Stayed 1 night in a heated tent and had a fab time. Tents are exactly that....basic....camp beds, thin blankets, cobwebs, but boy oh boy what a place to camp. Fell asleep listening to the roar of the waterfall behind us (surprisingly soothing) and woke to the birds singing and the waterfall doing its stuff. Double camp bed was very comfortable... More

In cold nights of freezing temperature Curry Village provides only 2 thin sheets of blanket. Which is worn out, dirty and like a thin sheet. There is no fireplace, no heating, and NO Blanket!!! How do you expect the visitors to survive. We had no expectation for Fireplace or heating, since that was clearly mentioned in your website. But there... More

My husband and I stayed in a tent cabin, and we loved it! Yes, the bathrooms are shared, and the walls are thin (they're canvas!), but this is NOT a hotel. This isn't even "glamping." It's just a place to sleep and keep your stuff safe while you spend your time exploring the wonders that Yosemite has to offer. After... More

I was so happy about our entire trip to Yosemite and curry village made it extra nice. The accommodations were clean and the perfect size. I also didn't hear people next to us at all. The food next to us was great. For electricity we brought and extention cord and plugged it in above the light so we watched the... More
