i spent $38 for an evening at the Curry village tent cabin. Bed was comfortable, bathing and toilet facilities adequate-but way above any campground. A sense of community seemed present at the dining facilities and as always the scenary was sublime. a great Value-A great Experience and I would do it over again tomorrow. If you want luxury The Ahwanee... More

We stayed in a non -headed tent #659 near the trailhead parking only 12 yards away. The tent was clean with plenty of blankets to keep you warm. This tent was 32 yards from the bathroom and 57 yards from the showers. They were both clean and had no problems with the hot water. The Curry Village restaurant & store... More

This is NOT glamping. The tents aren't glamorous enough... but it is a step above regular camping because you get a proper bed with sheets, blankets and pillows provided. The location itself is just fantastic! The quiet policy was well stuck to by fellow guests on my visit- the noisiest things were the creatures outside, just as it should be!... More

At $100+ a night, this tent w/ shared baths and showers a walk away is a bit on the pricey side. Also, the 3d party vendor (DNC) needs to up the game when it comes to food and wifi. No wifi and 2 hr waits for pizza and beer is unacceptable considering DNC is raking in over a million dollars... More

We liked the rustic setting, proximity to the main attractions in the Valley and the free shuttle and its relative affordability (paid $95 including breakfast and tax for a heated tent). Relative here means in comparison with other Yosemite lodgings e.g. Ahwahnee. The tent was simple and small, but enough to put your stuff and crash for the night (surely... More

I suppose I don't understand all the issues people who give poor ratings to Curry Village. It is a campground with a cafeteria. The campground includes heated and non-heated tents, cabins, etc... The rustic look and the key position right below Half-Dome is the perfect setting. In no other campground can you smell the camp fires, see the falls, listen... More

Our first trip to Yosemite was a wonderful experience. We stay in Curry Village, which at first glance, seemed like my kind of "camping". Beds in tents were comfortable (bring extra blankets!), tents were spacious, and there was ample parking. Some negatives about Curry were the cost. The cost of an unheated tent was reasonable, but it more than DOUBLED... More

I couldn't have asked for a better location or price for what I was receiving. The people at the front desk are willing to help you through any sort of situation that you may come across. Although, just one heads up. If you are happening to stay in Curry Village during the school year I would prepare for loads of... More

Our family of 4 stayed in a cabin with a bathroom (603b) and had a great time. The cabins are definitely rustic having been constructed in 1920. We were connected to 4 other rooms but that didn't bother us. The cabins have very thin walls so you can hear your neighbors easily. All of that said, you are truly in... More

Sleeping in the middle of Yosemite was a very good experience ! The tent was comfortable (more than I expected) with AC (very appreciated during the night !). There is a lot of accommodations (lounge room, shops, restaurants) and staff member were nice. A good night spent in Yosemite ! The negative point : the shared bathrooms were quite dirty,... More
