Although slightly spooked by the check-in "things you need to know about bears" routine, our cabin was perfectly adequate in a "you're in a national park in a wooden cabin, you can't expect much" sort of way! The beds were fine, the shower was good & being able to sit on the porch with a beer & look at the... more

We stayed in the "signature" tent for one night late this September. The signature tents have one double bed and two single beds, a heater, an overhead electric light and two outlets (which are very helpful for charging camera batteries). Additionally, the signature tents seem to be be more widely spaced than the standard tents and we didn't hear anything... more

I've spent 2 days at Curry village, it was April and still very cold at night. so prefer an heated canvas tent, even if they're more expensive but it's worth it. The village is inside the park, in a wonderful position. the bus crosses right outside the entrance. the barthrooms are clean and well heated. there are no hair dryer... more

I stayed in Curry Village at the end of September 2009, for just one night. The tent itself cost me $40 because I booked in advance. Because me and my friend were considering staying a second night, when we checked in we enquired about the price to keep the tent a second day - $100! We decided to say no,... more

Having booked a cabin at Curry Village months ago and then read more recent, terrible reviews for the place, we were feeling pretty apprehensive about our one-night stay. Although we had to queue for over half an hour to check in (and the queue was still there well past 8pm), which somewhat spoiled our mood, the room was lovely. The... more

My wife, her brother, and I stayed in an unheated tent cabin in Curry Village in early October. I strongly recommend that you keep in mind the old name of this venue: Camp Curry. Remember that this is camping, people! Your expectations MUST be lowered if you expect to have an enjoyable experience. If you're expecting a hotel, you will... more

Check the rate on the website. I got in for $39/night but if you reserve at the wrong time or not at all, the rate is $92/night. A couple of weeks after making my reservation, I checked if any rooms at Yosemite Lodge had opened (and of course none were available) but the rate for curry was now $92. When... more

Have been here twice now and the location/view is amazing. But it is a tent and it is noisy at times (especially gobby people getting up at 0430 to go fishing !) BUT you are in a tent so what do you expect :-) the showers etc are fine and the buffet is fantastic :-) You get breakfast included in... more

We stayed in Curry Village for 3 nights at the end of September. The tent was clean with sheets, wool blankets, and towels provided. We rented a tent with a heater. We loved the location and not having to leave the park and come back each day. The buffet was tasty and the store offered water, soda and adult beverages... more
