Easy Camping--enjoy the fun without having to drag all the equipment. Love the location...Afterall, it's Yosemite....no bad place exists in Yosemite... But Curry has everything right there--tent cabins, the newer beds were very comfy and room for all your luggage, plus a safe in the room, and now bear storage lockers at each tent, hard sided cabins, clean restrooms and... Glamping for sure! I felt a little lame, booking my reservation in Curry Village tent cabins, but I was Wrong Wrong Wrong! Safe, fun, convenient, We had a queen bed and two singles with an in-tent safe and our own bear locker in a beautiful spot in nature. Sure, there are lots of other people, but the tent cabins are... Beds are plenty comfortable. But you can hear everything around you. Some tents are as close as 3ft from wall to wall. There was a small child, 4 months old, that was screaming all night. Everyone we spoke to about it, within a 10 tent radius could hear the late night noise. We called the late night front desk and... More

I took my family here for two nights, we all enjoyed the tents. They had a double bed and two singles and was large enough to accomodate the four of us. They supply the linen and blankets and we found them to be clean. The toilet and shower facilities were kept clean. They have a few eating areas in the... More

My daughter and I spent 2 nights in Curry Village - what a treat! We love camping, but it was such a delight to have a cot, sheets and pillow and electricity in our tent cabin. Overall the camp was quite respectful of the quiet hours and the showers and bathrooms were clean. We never had to wait for our... More

If feels safer than housekeeping because you have a door and privacy. You can lock the door and there seems to be no space for animals to freely walk in to your tent. You do not have the option to cook and must purchase food from the Curry Village center.

They provide the Tent and the food; all you need to do is go. Lodging prices ~150 per day; food for 3 ~35 per meal! There is a wifi spot which works fairly well - was told that the phone service that works the best is Verizon - I had ATT it worked OK at the WiFi spot. No other... More

I know that while what we had was not really "camping", but it was a good compromise on price and facilities. The room is quite close to the carpark and the lodge, and therefore much more convenient for everything. We also have a private bathroom and shower - just no TV or wifi. The room was quite comfortable, but the... More

We stayed in a regular cabin without a bathroom in Curry Village. The cabin itself was very basic but suited our needs. We weren't there during the day anyway. Beds were full size, comfortable enough and there was plenty of space for our belongings. I have no complaints about the cabin itself. It was close enough to the bath houses... More

If you want the convenience of being to hop on the free shuttle and travel around the valley this is a great location. Loved the coffee bar and being able to sit outside to watch the sun change on the rocks. Beware that CA is in a drought and most waterfalls are no longer flowing by summer. Vernal Falls trailhead...
