If you are going to Yosemite it is so worth while staying inside the park - however you do pay a premium. We were 2 adults 3 kids so it was hard finding anything affordable in Yosemite so we semi-camped no frills style at Camp Curry. I hate camping but this is the sort of camping i can handle. Tent... I stayed for 1 night in July & can safely say I'm in love. Camp Curry is excellent. From the minute we arrived the staff were absolutely amazing, our tent was great, the toilets & showers are clean, the lodge area to hang out in was beautiful & the food was good (I only tried the pizza). The shop seemed... More

Camp Curry has hard-sided cabins with private bathrooms, which is an absolute luxury after hiking, swimming, and biking all day. They are rustic, but clean with great service from the staff. Stoneman House is an even better upgrade, as the room has updated finishes, free ice from the ice machine, a loft with another bed (which is great fun for... More

We tried for a regular hotel, but none available. Weren't inherently against semi-camping. Curry Village is very large with a variety of facilities for eating and activities. Tents are on a platform, with plastic siding firmly attached to side and a lock available on the front door. Shelving inside the tent, one chair, two cots with blankets and sheets. Tents... More

A great place to stay if you want to experience the wonderful outdoors, but want to sleep in a bed! You're guaranteed to see some type of wildlife. It may seem pricey for the accommodations, however, it's a great location and better than having to drive in every day. Food was very good at all the areas.

We had a canvas cabin which was great - definitely a novelty for overseas travellers. Heater worked most of the time. Was a little noisy in the mornings as it was Easter and the place was full. Perfect location to hike/bike around and catch the shuttle. I would definitely stay again, Yosemite is beautiful, it was a pity we didn't... More

It's not camping, but it still feels like you're out in the park having a "camping" experience. The price is high for the actual accommodations, but then again the convenience is worth it if you're traveling with family (there were 9 of us) and we didn't have to haul everything in and out. Yosemite is one of the most gorgeous... More

The location is ideal - there is a shuttle that stops right by to pick you up and take you throughout the valley; however, DO NOT think that being in the valley means that you won't have to drive. Yosemite is a huge park and we had to drive an hour for most hikes/views. In the future I would not... More

Nice place but a bit pricey for what was offered in a cabin: a clean (but not comfortable) bed, & good meal. Restroom could been cleaner and more numerous especially the ones near the cabins. In the middle of the night the bathrooms near the cabin was closed and had to walk long distance...

Considering the location and the value, Curry Village is definitely the place one may want to stay. The tent is relatively clean and spacious. Close to hiking trails like Happy Isle or Mirror lake. It was nice to use shower room after finishing hiking.
