The location is ideal - there is a shuttle that stops right by to pick you up and take you throughout the valley; however, DO NOT think that being in the valley means that you won't have to drive. Yosemite is a huge park and we had to drive an hour for most hikes/views. In the future I would not... More

Nice place but a bit pricey for what was offered in a cabin: a clean (but not comfortable) bed, & good meal. Restroom could been cleaner and more numerous especially the ones near the cabins. In the middle of the night the bathrooms near the cabin was closed and had to walk long distance...

Considering the location and the value, Curry Village is definitely the place one may want to stay. The tent is relatively clean and spacious. Close to hiking trails like Happy Isle or Mirror lake. It was nice to use shower room after finishing hiking.

The valley's beauty speaks for itself, but Yosemite village added a little something special. For a guy like me, it was easy to place myself back in time where they first discovered the valley, and Curry Village gave me a little insight into what it must have been like when the explorers were first coming through there. It was nice... More

I took my parents, who have limited mobility, to Curry Village, and they really enjoyed it. The lodging was comfortable and very clean. We were able to walk to nearby trails, as well as maintain access to our vehicle closeby. I recommend it for families as well as people with limited mobility.

I found the Curry Village tent-cabins to be a nice compromise between camping and hotel/motel travel - staff is friendly and helpful, accommodations are 'rustic' but quite comfortable. Food selection is unfortunately limited, though of course the location and volume of people has a lot to do with that. Curry Village or the Housekeeping cabins are my favorite places to... More

Curry Village in the summer is a zoo but kids like it. The tent cabins are big enough (we had bedding for five) but let's face it, you are cheek-to-jowl with your tent neighbors so if quite is important, this is not for you. It's similar to the campground experience but with a better bed. The restroom/showers were crowded but... More

Great experience to revisit the magnificence of Yosemite. Accommodations are simple but adequate, and I agree with another reviewer that an electrical outlet in the tent would be nice. We were in a tent right next to the lounge so were close to power. Communication is difficult because of spotty phone service throughout the Valley, so set meeting places if... More

I'd definitely recommend staying here to be in the heart of the park and valley, and amazingly beautiful location. The location is fantastic and nice to stay in the rustic tents, but don't expect much comfort. The tents were fine but beds not very comfortable. The food at the Camp was fairly basic and rustic but did the job with... More

We, a party of 5 adults, stayed in a Curry Village tent cabin in June 2014 for 2 nights. Being located in the middle of Yosemite Valley, it was ideally located for visiting there. However, the tent was extremely cramped for 5 persons + luggage. Although it was described in advance as being "rustic", the fact that there was only... More
