Location, Location, Location! Remember that before reading my review of this somewhat tattered Condo Complex. We stayed for two nights at Scenic Wonders, Yosemite West Condominiums in April 2015. The Condominiums are located 17 miles inside the South entrance to Yosemite National Park and another 17 from Yosemite Village, – a great location for visiting the Valley. We had a... More

We have stayed at this condo (A210) many times and love the location. Close to Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point, Badger Pass ski area, and the Giant Sequoia at Mariposa Grove. The condo has a great king size bed in the loft upstairs and a new sofa bed downstairs and there are bathrooms with showers on each floor. Nice fireplace keeps... More

Yosemite West is a private village that is only accessible through Yosemite National Park. The condos are owned by private individuals and managed through Yosemite West Condominiums. The condos contain studios, one bedrooms, and two bedrooms. Yosemite West is one of the last areas to get sanded during the winter, so bring chains when it's snowy or icy or you'll... More

As with other reviewers our expectations were fairly low but we were drawn to these condominiums because of their great location to the some of the main sights and the price range compared to other rentals within the park boundary. The instructions and information received on booking were excellent. We actually loved this place, very homely, very well equipped including BBQ,... More

Read past reviews extensively and was a bit apprehensive about the stay as was not expecting much. This was home base for a privately run photography week-long clinic, so it was the one and only choice. This location, in Yosemite West is a bit remote, with a 30-minute drive to the Valley floor and any eatery, so you have to... More

First, for "in park", the price was manageable and the location was good (especially for Glacier Point and Mariposa Grove). However, it was really dated and very "do it yourself" (no housekeeping service - make your own bed, wash your own dishes, take out your own trash - even upon leaving under threat of additional charges). The bathtub was SHALLOW... More

Stayed here for 3 nights visiting Yosemite and it was a very good experience. Kitchen was very well stocked with every kitchen item you could possibly want to cook with, it had a very nice homely feel and was a nice place to come back to each night after a busy day. There is tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, sweetner... More

This accommodation is verging on the 'very tired' side of things. It's very 1980's and I don't think it's been updated in the last 30 years or more. Having said that, there's not much accommodation in the park that you wouldn't pay an arm and a leg for, so it has that going for it. It had a mezzanine bedroom... More

Sometimes reviews can give you the wrong idea. I usually read a combination of good and bad reviews to prepare myself accordingly. In this occasion I wanted to make the most out of my visit to Yosemite so I looked for a place inside the park at a reasonable price. There were some bad reviews on these cabins so I... More

As other views have noted these condos are bit dated and tired (as is a lot of Yosemite accommodation) BUT they are very close to Glacier Point and not too far from Mariposa Sequoia grove and they are reasonably priced given the amazing national park they are based in.
