Loved this campground. Just far enough away from the valley that you felt the peace and quiet, but not so far that it was a terrible drive in. The elevation made it cooler than the valley too which was great. It has nice big spots with trees and rocks and plenty of room for setting up. No showers of course,... More

The Campground is pretty nice, in the middle of the yosemite! Beautyful trees and big Campsites! We stayed for 3 Days and nobody made the Restroom, it was so disgusting and i hope we dont get ill!! The other thing is, why dont they have any sink for the dishes! Didnt know where to wash it!

This camp, on the far western end of Yosemite, is quiet, secluded and well maintained. The sites range from good sized to large. there is plenty of shade and several bathrooms with running water and flush toilets. The one big drawback is that there are no showers. The closest shower is approximately 30 minutes away in Yosemite Valley and they... More

Great campsite located near the back. Nothing but woods behind us. On 4th of July weekend, I lost my gold wedding band at campsite #424. I believe it's somewhere near or around the firepit area. If found, please turn into campsite host (#425 near restrooms) as they have my shipping information. Thanks for your help and enjoy this great campsite.

Three of us split a tent for 2 nights. I can't remember which number we had sorry but it felt like it was the best one for seclusion. We had a huge boulder on one side of us and the site was down from the car on the edge of the meadow but still in the trees. Looks like a... More

We had site 208 with a 33 ft motorhome. Its pretty easy to reserve a site here on off holiday weekends and other days. The reason is because its pretty far from Yosemite Valley. 30 mins down a 8% grade narrow curvey road. Ok if you are in a car. There is a gas station across the street with bus... More

We stayed here for one night in June. We managed to book a night about a week before we camped, but couldn't get two nights in a row- definitely plan ahead if you want to stay here in the summer. Good-sized site with more than enough room for two small tents. Each site has a large food locker for storing... More

This was the nicest campground we have stayed in at a national park. We had site 214 which was plenty large for our family sized tent, backing to a large meadow and surrounded by large pines. It was also private and simply beautiful for tent camping. We found this campground to be a great location to visit both the valley... More

Best sites seem to be 302-312 (even numbers) as they back on to a meadow and only have a neighbour either side. The 300 loop seemed much smaller and more spread out & private. We accidentally drove in to the 400 loop when returning late at night and it was really busy and cramped. Thought $26 a night was high... More

We spent the night here in September. All motels (hotels) are very expensive in the park. And this campground - good inexpensive option for relaxation. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. It was very clean and secure. And our place for tent and car was excellent.
