Tuolumne Meadows is a rustic tent lodge and tent rooms in the eastern high country of Yosemite National Park. The tents are large with wood stoves to take the chill off the night and early morning. Some of the tents are near the cascades of the Tuolumne River which provides a soothing sound of rushing water. There are short hikes... More

We (4) stayed in a tent cabin at Tuolumne meadows in June 2014. The cabins are cozy and stay warm using the wood burning stove. The lodge provides wood and kindling even though we brought some of our own. We had dinner and breakfast in the dining room. Both were delicious and affordable. Nice selection too. The continental breakfast includes... More

The tent cabins were very comfortable, with cot beds and sheets. The wood stove worked well warm up the tent in the morning. The location is great, with several scenic trail nearby. Please be aware that this is a camp ground, not a hotel. It is for people who want to get close to the oiutdoors.

It is a charming and rustic lodge. I really enjoyed our tent -- it was nicely equipped and you will definitely need to use the wood burning stove and once it peters out around 2 a.m. you better be bundled up because the rooms become ice cold. Having said all that -- it was really charming place. I would go... More

We stayed two nights and enjoyed both breakfast and dinner each time. This was our fifth visit, and we finally checked in early enough to land a tent right by the river (3:30pm). The phones were down due to a landslide int he valley, but the staff was very helpful, and the hiking was great. No problem with bears in... More

This was our first tip to Yosemite and first "glamping" trip. The tents are good size and clean. They provide a wool blanket and a comforter. We were under the wrong impression that would be enough. The tents came with a wood burning stove so it kept us a little warm initially in the night, but by early morning all... More

My girlfriend and I are over 60, but we love the outdoors. We enjoyed the hiking and beautiful scenery that is right outside your door, literally! Being right on the Merced river and waterfalls at the camp was wonderful. We were a bit uncomfortable at night as the little wood stove barely kept us warm even under lots of blankets.... More

We have stayed here several times because it's more comfortable than camping, the food is good, the location is close to lots of hiking trails and the High Sierra Camps, it's accessible to free shuttle service, yet away from the crowds of the Valley Floor.

It was a wonderful vacation. The staff was organized and were very helpful in helping us select a room that best met our needs. The bathrooms were always clean and sanitized. The grounds were well kept.

To explore the incredible high sierra country without having to hike in, you can't beat the Tuolumne Meadows Lodge. The cabins are clean and enough wood is provided to keep a fire burning in the cabin's wood stove all night. Remember to bring a pad lock so that you can lock your cabin while you are away. The food at... More
