Tent cabins at Tuolumne Lodge were very comfortable; food was very good, although expensive. Easy access to many great trails in the high country. Felt safe from the bears! Impressed with overnight bathroom cleaning!

We had a great stay, the tent was clean and comfy, right by the waterfall, which meant a little trek to the bathroom but that was a small price to pay, the sound of the waterfall was a wonderful sound to fall asleep to. The meal was our highlight apart from the surroundings was the evening dinner in the communal... More

Much better that curry village but different site of course. Area is colder there but there is an wood oven and much distance between the tents. The beds and the blankets are also much better. We enyoed the stay even if the landscape in the meadows is not that spectacular out of my perspective.

Tuolumne meadows never disappoints. The fall is a lovely quiet time to visit Hiking and just enjoying the setting will relax you. I return here each fall to hike and appreciate the high country in comfort. Love my tent cabin and the shared restrooms are always clean. I would give this an excellent rating if the food was better. There... More

We started and ended our high sierra camp trip at Tuolomne Meadows Lodge. We loved it here. While it is very rustic, the beds are comfy with plenty of blankets and the wood burning stove made our tent cabin nice and toasty. The shower/bathroom area was always clean and everything in good order with brand new bear lockers to keep... More

It is still one of the gems in Yosemite National Park--the Tuolumne Meadows Lodge. Basic but a wonderful opportunity to relax, unwind, and enjoy the wilderness in a profound way, not possible in a luxury hotel. Accessible by car and centrally located for access to a vast choice of day and overnight hikes to trails, lakes, meadows, peaks, etc. Wonderful... More

Nestled in tamarack pines at eight thousand feet, this wilderness lodge is the ultimate outdoor experience. Cosy tent cabins, each with its own wood stove, provide an experience as fresh and exciting today as it was nearly a hundred years ago. Surrounded by glacial valleys and granite peaks, with trails in all directions, each day brings new discoveries. The central... More

Excellent food and wine considering you are sitting at a HIgh Sierra Camp. Very nice accommodations 'tent style'. Very well signed trails, free shuttles and warm showers and clean restrooms. The surrounding trails are a treat to anyone in the world!

Coming from sea level on the East coast to Tuolumne Meadows in one day provides quite an adventure and thrill. Dealing with bear boxes and wood stoves presents challenges that are fun and funny. Eating meals int the dining hall was an opportunity to meet such interesting and exciting men, women, and children all ages and all walks of life.... More

I stayed here for a night near the end of a 250 mile backpacking trek of the John Muir Trail south to north. I was vey happy with the comfortable beds, clean cabin, hot showers, and expensive but hearty meal. Overall the staff was very nice, but I did witness a very disturbing transaction with one staff member. While waiting... More
