After 4 days in the back country, arriving at Tuolumne Meadows Lodge felt like a little bit of luxury in the High Sierras. Our tent assignment was perfect as we were close to the beautiful tumbling Dana Fork River - a perfect spot to share a bottle of wine after a long day of hiking. The accommodations are comfortable and... More

Beautiful site, laze around in the wilderness or use as your jumping off point for hikes and backpacking trips. Tent cabins are equipped with bedding and towels. Also wood stove for cold nights. Bathroom is short distance from most rooms. Restaurant is group style eating but hearty and good. Lovely campfire nights to sit around and watch stars or chat... More

Great location, clean tent cabins and public bath houses, and acceptable (yet expensive) food. Few options for vegetarians. Be prepared to light the wood stove at night and first thing in the morning or you will be cold. The showers are hot!

Absolutely beautiful. The tent cabins were kept clean and well stocked with fire wood for those cold, High Sierra nights. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about hikes and sights in the surrounding area. Definitely recommended!

My wife and I stayed in Tuolumne before going into Yosemite Valley. We really liked the feel of the Lodge. The tent cabins are more spread out than down at Curry Village in the Valley. Much more intimate scale- about 60 tents versus hundreds at Curry. Breakfast and dinner are served in the Lodge dining room. Lunches can be ordered... More

We had a great stay! The canvas cabins are super cute and an adventure. We stayed 4 night as part of a cross country road trip with our two boys and Tuolumne Meadows was their favorite part of the trip. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Overall a great stay!!

Extremely friendly staff help make this a great family "camping" experience. Kids loved s'mores in the evening around the campfire. Only negative is that you can not cook on site and must drive about a mile to use your cook stove.

Tuolumne Meadows Lodge is the perfect substitute to the hustle and bustle of the valley (sadly, it has become that). You can enjoy the wonderful sound of the Tuolumne River to put you to sleep, and the furnace is perfect for keeping the whole glamping tent warm. The facility is well stocked, and you feel special during your entire stay.... More

This is a great location for hiking high elevation/back country. Stove was helpful in warming the cabin and cozy. Very nice that there was a double bed not just twins! Makes for very comfortable "camping".

Tent cabins with stove for heat are the perfect way to enjoy the Yosemite backcountry in comfort. Spent a night in the tent before heading our on a backpack trip to the Valley. Very much enjoyed the dinner and breakfast (Family Style Seating)
