Check in was quick however having read previous reviews I had asked not to be in a room near the coach drop off/pick up zone - the room we had could not have been closer to the coaches!!! That said the noise was not too bad (amazing with all the "green touches" that coaches are not made to turn off... More

Sorry to say that hotel really does need an upgrade throughout all accomodation. The rooms are shabby, without amenities and extremely noisy due to old wooden construction. Large numbers of 'Kiss me Quick' tourist buses arrive late and depart at 7am in the morning. One can therefore forget any form of sleep after 6.30am every morning. The food in the... More

We arrived for a three night stay at Yosemite Lodge on 11th Oct with two friends from Daventry, Northamptonshire in England (all seniors) having read some negative reports. We were very pleased with our spacious and clean rooms in the Hemlock block each of which contained a large bed, television and bathroom with plenty of hot water. The food in... More

We are 2 couples (seniors) from Great Britain and returned today from our visit. We thought Yosemite was awesome - the weather was excellent and though we were slightly concerned about Yosemite Lodge (having read previous comments) before we went we were most presently surprised. We spent 5 nights in the Maple building on the ground floor with a patio.... More

They've really got your hands tied with this place. If you want to stay in the valley, but don't want to camp or stay in a tent cabin, you only have two choices: the Ahwanee at $300-$400 a night or Yosemite Lodge. That said, I knew beforehand that we would be paying hotel prices for motel-like accommodations, so I wasn't... More

After leaving a 3 night stay in San Francisco at a 4 star hotel we were a little concerned about what we would find at the Yosemite Lodge. We booked a family suite even thought there were just 2 of us. It was a special deal for an average price of $124 per night . We loved our room, the... More

Reserved a "deluxe room" for 170.00 a night. I was told that the rooms had been recently refurbished so I was expecting a newer and fresher room. We were very disappointed. We were placed in the Eldeberry building and although it was clean, the room is dark and in disrepair. The furniture is beaten up, the floors are carpet tiles,... More

We stayed here for two nights in September and wished we stayed for longer. I paid extra for a river view room. Other posters mention different building names but I am unsure what ours was. It was the furthest block up the hill!! Our room had two queen sized beds, air con, fan, fridge, basic kitchen, large bathroom, fireplace and... More

We weren't expecting luxury and we didn't get it. However, the rooms were fine, location spectacular! Beautiful views from the back of the rooms! We were a 30 second walk from a beautifully clear river! Excellent! The food court was pretty bad but on food court terms it was pretty average. Overall, an average hotel.

We stayed on a Thursday in a family room in a building right beside the office. It was a large room with a double, 2 twins and a couch. It had a nice little sitting area, a refrigerator, and a dining table. It had a separate bathroom and shower room. There was a double vanity in the main room. The... More
