This Lodge is over $200 per night and looks like a $40 per night place. Small, no a/c, very old. At the rates they charge you - then they could afford to update the place. We checked out a day early because I couldn't take this place for another day.

If you go to the Yosemite Lodge with the right expectations, you will have a truly memorable experience. The important thing to remember is that this is not a luxury hotel in the city, it's a rustic lodge in a national park. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. Our housekeeper... More

Building inkeeping with area. Basic hotel very dark due to trees. Be aware of very expensive bus trips. Doors bang and walls/floors seem thin. Handy location.

Let me begin by saying that Yosemite is absolutely stunning, let me also say that Yosemite Lodge is over priced and poor quality. My wife and I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I can safely say that for the money this is the poorest I have been to. The rooms are noisy (every time a tap... More

I was given an upgrade to a larger "Lodge" room, though I paid over 200 a night for a standard room. I'd hate to see what the Lodge room price would have been. That is a very steep price, but considering the alternatives, the fact that it is right on the Valley floor and in the midst of everything made... More

I will NEVER stay here again. The place is in dire need of updating. The rooms are worse than I could have imagined. There were multiple mouse traps around the room. Each have been "sprung" so obviously, I didn't sleep at all for fear of creatures running around me at night. I am fine with being so close to nature... More

We stayed in Juniper building and the views from the rear of the room were spectacular. The staff in reception were very friendly and helpful. There was a stale smell when we first entered the room but i suppose you have to except that if you are staying in the wilderness. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room... More

We visited here for 3 nights in August, over a weekend, and this meant that the hotel was busy, but the rooms were quiet. Our ground floor room looked out into the woods, and did feel quite peaceful. Rooms were fairly standard sized motel rooms, and you obviously pay more to stay in the lodge due to its location, at... More

had read mixed reviews but to be honest we loved this place. We were lucky to get a cabin facing away from the road/car park i suppose and backed onto the woods (Aspen Lodge). On arrival a deer was munching peacefully by our front door and a Blue Jay sat in the tree outside our balcony screeching merrily. Check in... More

The location is magnificent - beautiful views everywhere you look - except indoors. The hotel is in dire need of an update. The sink looked like the original 1950's sink, carpet was stained, the room smelt dank. For the price we paid, it was very disappointing. Additionally, the "food hall" looked like it was modelled on Butlins and was not... More
