Our room was fairly basic but what do you expect? It was clean and tidy and to be honest we spent hardly any time in there anyway, it was only for sleeping in. We had deer walking past our room in the mornings and lots of squirrels of course but the main attraction is that you are surrounded by the... More

The national park hoteliers have the advantage of convenience. If you are staying at one run by XTerra, that's fine; unfortunately, Yosemite has a different provider. Our room was what you might get in a fleabag on the highway. The dispensers didn't work, the room had no heat, and what was a nice patio area had cigarette butts all over... More

Great place to stay exploring Yosemite Valley. Key word here is Valley. The falls are in Yosemite Valley about an hour from parks entrance. For example if you stay at Tenaya Lodge you are at least an hour fifteen from the valley. Stay at Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. You are across the street from Yosemite Falls the large ones.... More

After a long drive we were greeted with the magnificent views of the cliffs in the Yosemite National Park on a lovely sunny day, the smoke from the recent fires had all cleared away so we were very lucky. We stayed in the recently renovated units which were very good, it was great to sit outside and see the squirrels... More

This was the third hotel in our tour of the West which would include eight hotels in all. If you want to stay in the Yosemite park and not have to travel each day then there are not too many options. This is a basic hotel with basic facilities. After our experiences in San Francisco and Monterey this was a bit... More

We went to Yosemite in late September and were lucky enough to get a room inside the park at the Lodge. You can't beat the location (if you are not a camper). We were 5 adults and stayed in a large "Family" room. It's a large space with a king bed, 2 twins and a sofa bed. The bathroom has... More

this is not 5 star but its in a perfect location for exploring and the rooms are big, comfortable and very clean. Shower was great and room had small little balcony for sitting in he evening. You go here to explore, your room is just a base for changing and showering, and this ticks all the boxes, anyone who says... More

Our last night in Yosemite was at Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. We had a Family Bunk Room, located in the Hemlock Building. We were able to check in early and they asked if we wanted 1st or 2nd floor. Tired from hiking, we took a 1st floor room with a nice patio. There were does with fawns, saw 2... More

We stayed here during our trip to Yosemite National Park. There are nothing special about these rooms; very basic. The first room we were in was downright dirty and old, so we asked to be moved. Some of the buildings have recently been renovated. We moved to the Juniper which was nicer than the first. There are not many options... More

Its all about the view and the location. You won't be spending a lot of time in your room anyway, so don't expect the Four Seasons or the Hilton! We stayed in the Hemlock rooms which had been remodeled - but again it isn't plush! I recommend the second floor - even though you have to carry all your luggage... More
