My family of 5: myself, husband and 3 sons (5 years, 3 years and 9 months) stayed in a Family Bunk Room from May 28-May 31. My understanding is all of this type of room is in the Hemlock Building. I was told by the reservations people that the Family Bunk Room is a new room configuration for the Lodge... More

We booked a last minute vacation to Yosemite Park in May 2013. I read many of the reviews from your website. When I called reservations, they had one room left at Yosemite Falls Lodge for the dates we needed. AAA rated this location as a 2 star. Having stayed at other national park locations, the accommodations are not often good... More

My husband and I were on a group tour of the National Parks. We stayed here when we went to Yosemite at the Cottonwood grouping. My husband did not like this at all - called it dreary. However, I thought it was delightful - just what a cabin in Yosemite should be! There is no air-conditioning but we did not... More

Can't fault location, our room had a view of Yosemite Falls, and you could hear the roar whilst lying in bed! Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Check in experience average receiving keys to the wrong room. Staff are friendly but not overly helpful.

For the price you pay, these rooms should be delightful, but they're rundown. Most are old, but some are newer. All are dreary. We've stayed there many times, and the place slowly gets worse. That said, the location makes up for it somewhat. If you're visiting Yosemite, you want to stay in the park. The Ahwanee is much nicer but... More

I stayed here for the second time this year. It was not a choice I wanted to make but choices are VERY limited. I was participating in a photo workshop at the Ansel Adams Gallery and the room block for us was here. No doubt the location is convenient. Really, the ONLY reason to stay here. Rooms are not good.... More

Huge queue for check in & quite arrogant staff - went as part of Extranomical Tour (travel with one party and return with next day tour) so no worries about parking - only had one night and wish had more. Main reception building, cafe, restaurant, with friendly staff & lovely food, and accommodation all separate blocks but located nearby. Our... More

Just stayed two nights in May - prime waterfall season! Check-in at Yosemite Lodge went very smoothly although we had to circle a bit to find parking when we arrived. Yosemite Lodge is actually several buildings with rooms and balconies. Parking can be challenging in busy times because I think people who aren't staying at the Lodge use the parking... More

It is a pity that the closest accommodations to the spectacular Yosemite falls -- and the only real alternative for most folks -- is an outdated, overpriced property like this. My husband and I know that national park accommodations are always overpriced. After all, you're paying for convenience. We've stayed in four other national park lodges in the past three... More

Great location, rooms quite bland but nice and clean. A lot of wear and tear. Lots of noise due to road works in carpark which put a dampener on the quietness of the environment. Restaurant was big and busy with no real individual attention to customers. Staff very unfriendly when arrived.
