The Lodge at the Falls is located right in the park. Its prime location and the limited number of mid priced rooms ensures that customers will want to stay there regardless of the service. Members of the front desk were efficient but they probable manage a whole day without wasting a smile. Members of the catering team (food hall) made... More

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary after a night in Mariposa and following on the next day to Mammoth Lakes. This was a middling place to stay, all nice and clean yet aging. It is of course the location that makes it worthwhile and why we would definitly go back again. The room was a little tight near the... More

This place gets a bad rap. It's perfect. I loved the way the whole property is laid out - nestled in a rustic setting. They did a great job of providing all the necessities without destroying the natural landscape. Checkin and checkout was a breeze. The activities desk where we ordered our Glacier Point bus tickets from was very efficient.... More

Having read so many negative reviews, my husband and I were prepared for the worst. We stayed in a lodge room with 2 double beds in the maple building with our 4 yr old at the end of October. We arrived around 6:30pm and checked in within a few minutes. When the girl at reception said it was a nice... More

You are right in the center of Yosemite Valley which you can't beat! The hotel is like a cheap hotel right off of the highway where you would pay about $50/night but unfortunately you pay $200 a night here. You are in Yosemite, so really you shouldn't spend much time in the room...but I just feel they should either charge... More

Well, I've never rated a hotel two stars before but our experience of the hotel, staff etc was poor. We were able to check in shortly after 4 which was better than it might have been. Our room was disappointingly drab and dingy. It had a strange odour. It was very large. The photos on the website are grossly misleading... More

We had always wanted to stay at Yosemite Lodge so were looking forward to this part of our trip but it didn't live up to expectations. The location is fabulous but the Lodge itself leaves quite a lot to be desired! We arrived at 4.10pm (unusually early for us) and were hoping to check in but were told that our... More

We spent three nights in Yosemite Lodge in late September. We were very happy with it. I'd read some negative reviews (along with some positive ones) and really wasn't expecting our room to be nearly as nice as it was. We stayed in Elderberry and I don't know if some buildings may be in considerably worse shape, but we really... More

My expectations were not too high for this hotel, but I refused to pay $500 for the Ahwanee. I was blown away by how beautiful Yosemite Valley was. I just continued to look up at the incredible walls of granite and ignored all the people. This hotel has a perfect location for exploring the Valley. We visited in mid-September and... More
