We usually stay at the Ahwahnee, but decided to see how the Lodge compared, especially since it is much less expensive. I can say that it is most assuredly NOT the Ahwahnee, but that it was absolutely just fine. We do a lot of hiking, and do not spend much time in the room anyway, so this worked out very... More

The location, right in the valley surrounded by amazing views and easy access to the shuttle system, takes most of the sting out of the price. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. The rate was a few bucks less than quoted during the reservation process, but the room type we wanted wasn't available. The room was OK. A... More

We just returned from a 3 night stay at The Lodge at the Falls. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay there. On arrival, we had reserved only one room for the four of us, and we inquired whether a second room might be available. The staff quickly located two adjacent rooms for us. What we loved about staying here:... More

Avoid the flea-trap motel at all costs. Its obvious this place hasn't seen an update since the 1970s and routine maintenance is a foreign concept to the company that runs this dump.

After spending two weeks on the road with my family traveling through Az., Nv & Ca, staying in 4 star hotels, we were all appalled with Yosemite Lodge! We had arrived 2 days ahead of schedule in the park at the Ahwahnee Hotel. They were able to take us the following day, but we needed a place to stay for... More

Paid thru the nose to stay here after deciding Curry village tent in the snow was just too hardcore. Room was dated, worn, drafty and not particularly clean, probably the worst value in 10 days of California road trip. You pay for the location but despite the jaw dropping scenerey if you stay in the valley you'll feel it's Disney... More

We have been here for two days. Yesterday morning we woke up to find a lot of flying bugs by the window. We called housekeeping & evidently the came during the day and sprayed. This morning I found another one in the shower. The room is ok although it was expensive, service was fine, the cost of food at the... More

Staying inside the park and pratically under Yosemite Falls was quite amazing! Got a reasonable price for just one night(US115), so value was ok. Room is motel-like with no good linen, but it's clean and with a good size. The lodge cafeteria's food is really terrible, with cold pasta and spicy/tasteless sauce! Go with the burgers, they're a little better!... More

This is a good place for first-time Yosemite visitors, especially if you don't have a lot of time. Yes, Yosemite Fall is right behind the lodge. There are convenient places to eat (cafeteria style hall and an expensive restaurant) plus shopping in a gift store and bike rentals. The shuttle bus picks up and drops off right in front of... More

Lodge at the Falls provides basic accommodation (no frills room, no frills food hall, no frills service), but at a not-so-basic price. My family (2 adults and 3 young kids) and I have just completed a month's travel through California & Las Vegas, and our 2 bed room was the most basic, yet most expensive accommodation we stayed in during...
