We just made a quick trip to Yosemite, one night in El Portal and one night in the valley at the Lodge. We had not stayed at the Lodge in years. We had a "standard" room, second floor in an older building (Cedar). The room was quite large and had two big full-size beds, almost queens. The room, bath, beds... More

Have stayed here for 46 years and it has the best location, creature comforts, such as a warm shower, heater that warms you, comfortable beds! Yes it's not the Hilton but this is Yosemite, got to appreciate your environment and staying in the snow...this is the best..if you stay in a tent you don't have a good heater, you have... More

It is hard for me when I read some of the reviews to think that we were staying at the same place but I checked and we were. I just want anyone reading this to know that I have never before have complained about a room I stayed in before no less taken the time to actually write a bad... More

Location is excellent. Faces the Falls. Has a food court, restaurant, souvenir shop. Near the Visitor's Centre which has a reasonably stocked convenience store, a deli, some shops. The Lodge is not a hotel nor a motel. It's rustic, so dont expect too much. There's a useful portable heater in the room, but no kettle nor coffee maker (which I... More

this place has all the facilities you need for whatever activities you wanna do in the park. Seems very accomodating to families with kids. The restaurant and bar however appeal to singles and couple however and the food is top class at the restaurant. Very good!

I did lots of research before booking this trip and was nearly put off by the bad reviews of the Lodge at the Falls on this site. However, I'm really glad we decided to stay here as it did the job perfectly. If you only have a couple of days you have to stay in the valley - and if... More

Do not think it's a 5 stars hotel, but consider it a great place to stay in the middle of the park. Take a walk and listen to the falls, enjoy the darkness, and get a luxury hotel the next stop.

We stayed at the Yosemite Lodge for two nights while snowshoeing and exploring in the park. Its a great location and food and services are close by. The room was spacious and nicely decorated but sure not plush. Nice big window with a deck. I am sure that noise from other rooms can be a problem since they have TV's... More

I have visited Yosemite National Park quite a few times in the past and I have always stayed at the Yosemite View Lodge (a wonderful hotel) which is less then a mile from the park’s entrance. On this trip I went with a friend who had already made reservations at Yosemite Lodge. This was my first trip to actually stay... More

The service at the Lodge is excellent. All of the staff are trained to a high standard of customer service and it shows. The setting is quite unique...sheer granite walls and Yosemite Falls at your front or back door. I stayed in a standard unit which are a bit tired because they were built in 1956 and there is only...
