I have just finished filling out a online survey from Delaware North concerning my recent 3 night stay at Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. After taking over an hour to fill in probably 40 questions regarding how friendly staff members were, and another 30 minutes of writing a note about our room, the survey could not be submitted because it... I reserved a room at the Lodge at the Falls for the 4th of July. We arrived at check in the parking lot was full there were buses everywhere. We were assigned a room across the street from check in but were told to park in a different lot and could move our car after the buses left but would... More

The hotel is a lodge, nothing fancy, but the location and convenience makes the place worth the money. The lodge's food court is fine for a less expensive meal, the bike rental stand is right there, there a two shuttle stops at the lodge, and you take tours directly from the registration desk. The Yosemite falls overlook the pool.

It's not location that's the driving force in the room rates here; it's capitalism pure and simple. There are basically three types of non-camping accommodations in Yosemite Valley: The Ahwahnee, at $500/night, which was more than I paid for my airfare from the East Coast, the Camp Curry tent cabins, most without baths and heat at over $100, and the... After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, we knew the pros & cons of this hotel. We knew we were paying for the location. However, even with very low expectations we were a little disappointed. Upon check-in, I was initially excited when we were told we would be in a recently renovated room. Recently renovated does not equal a "Green Room".... More

Location is the selling point for this lodge. It is beautiful! Lodge buildings are older, and rooms are basic, but in a gorgeous area. No air, but there are fans and the room was cool at night - and you are out and about all day anyway. Beds and bathroom were fine. There was a frig in the room and... More

We always try to be close to where we visit, so for Yosemite it had to be the Yosemite Lodge. I had a great deal of difficulty securing a room 6 months before our visit; but it was worth it. Yosemite itself is the favourite place we have visited in America. Go in May, with the waterfalls in spate and... More

We visited Yosemite recently and stayed at the Lodge for 3 nights. The room was clean and the location in the park was perfect. Our overall impression was that this was a 2 star room with a 4 star price in a 5 star location but there are very few options. This is a basic room without a/c but the... More

So, if you are looking for a five star room, with all mod cons, you clearly don't get what Yosemite National Park is all about! These are basic rooms (yes, I know they aren't cheap!) but they are clean (the carpet is grubby, but it is used by people who hike), there is a fridge (great for storing wine, snacks,... More

we love everything about this place, there is a good choice of food options in the park to suit every pocket. our room was clean and had an efficient fan which we needed as Yosemite temperatures reached 90 degrees at the end of june.As we live in the uk we can only manage a holiday here once every 2 years. we...
