We were pleased with our accommodations at the Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. Our room was in Elder berry and had been recently refurbished. The bed was a bit soft but and double size but we had 2 in the room. It was in very easy walking distance to the Lodge and food court. Our stay in late Feb. was... More

If you want to stay in the valley in comfort, choices are limited. The rooms are expensive, with taxes we paid $250/night. The first night we were in a small room with one bed and the 2nd in a much larger room with two beds - same price. Actually, we had to pay more for the smaller room because we... More

Yosemite is a magical place (despite the crowds) but the Lodge certainly isn't one of them. Unfortunately the Lodge is dated and ordinary. It would have made the grade in the '80s, but things have moved on. Shame the Lodge hasn't. Disappointing.

With all the mixed reviews on TA about the Lodge I researched & researched which room to ask for when I booked, and I have to say thankfully we received a great room, and just across the hall from where I would have liked to stay. I normally rent a cabin in Foresta when staying in Yosemite, but going in... More

After last years stay in a newly renovated room in the Tamarack Building we decided to call and make a specific request for a new room this year. What a disappointment to arrive and be given an old non-renovated room (# 4323) in the Willow Building. There were many maintenance problems with the room and the bed was uncomfortable!! After... I stayed here for a conference at the site. The location is great, with multiple places to hike and great scenery. Yosemite has a great shuttle system so you can get to other parts of the park from here too. The rooms have been updated, but are still simpler than some hotel rooms...my only complaint was that the light switches... More

We have been staying at the Yosemite Lodge every Thanksgiving weekend for the past 20 years. Not fancy, but comfortable, fits nicely into the valley. Do not expect 5 star accommodations or staffing - the five star experience it outside your room experiencing all the Park has to offer. Make your reservations early.

I truly believe you don't need to stay in a breathtakingly fancy ca hotel when staying in Yosemite because there is nothing out there in terms of accommodations that can top the vast beauty of Mother Nature by way of Half Dome and El Capitan. That said, The Lodge is simple yet adequate, humble and down to earth. The room... More

This room was just as advertised. We didn't have an updated bathroom, but the room was super clean and quiet. The bunk-beds worked well for us as we were 3 friends traveling together. While this isn't a 5 star hotel, the views cannot be beat! The location was great for a day of hiking! I would stay here again.

I am a big fan of Yosemite and I am pretty sure I would love all of the accommodations there because I am in such a happy spot when I visit. SO I will try to be unbiased. Reception was friendly and provided all the information we needed to utilize the facilities. We found our guest room well from the... More
