Not quite 4 stars but more than 3 stars. The Lodge at the Falls is one of the two hotels in the park, it is the less expensive option, but still fairly pricey. Our room was decent and they accommodated us so we could have 2 rooms next to each other. The rooms were small but clean and everything is... More

This is the second time we've stayed at this lodge. It's a hotel that is located in Yosemite Valley and it isn't too badly priced for the early spring. The hotel is a step up from a Motel 6 in many ways. Depending on your building assigned could mean the difference between a quiet night sleep or one that you... More

Check-in was warm and friendly and front desk staff were generally very accommodating. Lodge room was not surprising...roomy but dated. Bed was comfortable. Food at canteen hearty. No tea/coffee facilities in room and had to walk to the canteen to pay for a warm drink when it was cold & raining outside The lodge was well situated in the middle... More

We stayed two nights at the Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. We had started looking outside the park in El Portal via a Groupon offer but found the Lodge had rooms at a competitive price. So booked there. Much preferred staying in the park – much more convenient than driving in/out each day. Check in time is at 5pm and... More

We spent two nights here during our Spring Break travels. We want to come back to Yosemite (it was our first trip here)...and will stay here again! We were very pleased with our room...nice comfortable beds after a day of hiking and exploring. Great shower, I loved how they had the dispensers instead of the individual bottles for toiletries (bring... More

The Lodge at the Falls was exactly what we were looking for to enjoy Yosemite. You can walk or hike just about any where. There is a free shuttle bus that will take you to many different locations. We were here in March when it was not that crowded. Some of the restaurants were not open. If you bring snacks... More

We have stayed at the Lodge many times over the last 40 years. While the perfect base for exploring Yosemite Valley, we have always complained about how the rooms and furniture were shabby and grungy. This time we were surprised to find that the rooms are being updated. We were lucky to be assigned to an updated room in the... More

Let's get our priorities straight. You want to enjoy this breathtaking park. You want to spend your energy hiking, biking and exploring. There are all types of "lodging" out in Yosemite. You can dry camp outside under the stars, you can stay in a tent camp. Or you can stay in the Lodge at the Falls. I was a little... More

Yosemite is wonderful. We only had one night in the park (not nearly enough) but I'm glad we chose to stay at the lodge at the falls. The room was basic but very cosy, which we really appreciated. The shower was the hero for us though! It was strong and hot. After a long days hiking in the cool this... More

This is a great location to stay and use as your home base while visiting Yosemite Valley. It is central and convenient to all areas of the valley and very close to several trailheads. The shuttle has a stop at the Lodge and will deliver you free to almost anywhere in the valley. My wife and I visit Yosemite several... More
