Unfortunately we had a terrible experience here! At over $200 a night, I would at least expect a CLEAN room. When we arrived at 5pm to check in, our room was not ready (5pm is check in time- which is LATE) We waited an additional 20min for our room. For this inconvenience they extended check in for us. Then we... More

Let me start by saying that my family and I LOVE Yosemite National Park. We have visited 3 times and hope to return many more. We choose Yosemite Lodge as it is the best for our needs (we couldn't afford the Ahwahnee anyway). The rooms are spacious and really well-equipped with a very rustic feel. We don't mind that there... With all the reviews and suggestions posted, we stayed for 2 nights and requested the Elderberry Lodge, second floor. The room was decorated nicely in Western/Indian style (better than Motel 6) with 2 double beds, safe, mini refrigerator, hairdryer and near parking lot. It was clean, towels were thick. Although as mentioned, parking is difficult and best to stay parked... More

We thought this lodge was going to be a splurge! It was, well, just adequate for a night's stay in an incredible part of the world. Yosemite Valley was the place to stay, but we found the accomodations subpar. Room was old (tv from last century and it was fuzzy reception wise.) and dusty; screen was covered with dust when... We stayed at the Yosemite Lodge at The Falls from August 1 - 5, 2010 with a total of 11 people in our group. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Our hotel room had a view of the Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls. It was beautiful to walk in the Yosemite Valley floor in the morning. We had our... More

We went to Yosemite with my whole family-- so there were 4 rooms total (young couple, family with young kinds, and grandparents) and we all enjoyed our stay. We stayed outside the park last summer and the drive in each day is a drag. So yes it's a bummer to pay $200+ per night for what, outside the park, would... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! On our first night we sat outside our room and were amazed by all the stars we could see. The rooms are simply furnished but very comfortable and you can't beat the hotel for location. Right in the centre of Yosemite Valley with 3 shuttle bus stops near to the lodge... More

Stayed here early July for 3 nights ($759), part of a 3 week road trip visiting National Parks. Yosemite valley is so beautiful (very busy and more commercialised than expected) and on hindsight we are still pleased we stayed at the Lodge. Parking is exceedingly difficult at the Lodge as daytrippers park here too, we witnessed 2 drivers arguing over... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, but were very concerned after reading all reviews on here. When we arrived check in went very easily. Found our own way to our room, it was in a barrack like block, when opening the door it all appeared very dark, they could do with brighter lights & white walls. Room was clean &... More

We stayed at the Lodge for 2 nights. I read the mixed reviews but usually fall into the camp that thinks the accomodations are okay and the negative reviews are written by the nitpicky. However, this hotel priced at $241, is not nearly worth it. I would have rather camped at Curry Village if I expected to "rough it". Positives--the... More
