We just returned from a week in Yosemite. We stayed at Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. I had read a lot of reviews both good and bad regarding this place. We were placed in a lower level of the Alder building. I almost forgot that we had people staying above and beside us. Our stay was very quiet and pleasant.... More

I have stayed at the Lodge at least 25 times over the last 30 years. I prefer staying at the Lodge, Curry Village is too noisy and cramped and The Ahwahnee is too expensive (though we ate breakfast and a dinner there). Lately I have been visiting in the winter or spring because of the special, lower prices. However, I... More

Let me start from the fact it's all my fault that we chose to come here two days before the 4th of July weekend. The place has its own advantages due to its proximity to the falls. It could actually become a disadvantage if you come to enjoy the natural setting Yosemite has to offer. The room was of a... More

The Lodge seemed a good alternative to camping. Restaurants on site as well as a market. I had waited a long time to go to Yosemite and was anxious to see all the sights. There is a shuttle that runs through the park, somewhat like a hop on hop off bus. But the Lodge was a disappointment. I guess I... More

The setting is convenient to free park shuttle, pool, stores, restaurants, etc. From our balcony we were able to see the upper falls.Room had been upgraded and having a mini fridge in our room was a plus for our week stay. There is no air conditioning but they do provide a floor fan. I would recommend staying in the Park to fully... More

It was truly lovely, but know before you go that there will be no A/C. In hot weather, leave the ceiling fans on low during the day and ramp up when you get back to your room at night. We found that with additional fans in the windows, by the time we went to bed, that it was "sleepable". It... More

Truly exceptional and convenient location right in the valley of Yosemite National Park, and very good overall experience. Clean, reasonably priced, comfortable accommodations. Several different dining options.

Beautiful location, central to all the fun and great staff. My children enjoyed the ranger programs, while we enjoyed the views. The staff at the lodge was super helpful. We will be back soon. Hopefully this winter!

Let me preface this by saying the Yosemite park is jaw droppingly beautiful. Every single part of it is stunning. However. The gas stations are an absolute rip off. Gas is about 30% more than normal prices, the things they sell are probably 50% more then Normal. They sell a range of "fresh" sandwiches which are far from it. $7.50... More

We stayed at the Yosemite Lodge for one night. The Lodge is rustic, woodsy, and conveniently located. It happened to be my son's fifteenth birthday and the staff so graciously wished him a happy birthday upon our arrival, and left him a note with a cracker/fruit/cheese plate in the refrigerator in our room. This was a very thoughtful gesture, which... More
