It was a great lodge, but we had quite a surprise when being charged about 5 times the normal rate for an international call to Europe, also the WiFi service was far below the standard we experienced at a lot of other lodge/hotels we have visited, disconnecting, not able to log on etc.

The Lodge is basic, but more than adequate accomodation. Provides everything needed for a comfortable stay while enjoying the spectacular scenery and hiking at Yosemite. Internet was not perfect, but otherwise everything worked as it should. The staff is helpful. Dinner at the Awahnee dining room was spectacular.

Stayed two nights on our trip to California and great location to see the falls but the falls were dry due to the drought. Check in was fast and friendly, room close to check in but no parking in lot for room. Had to park about 500 yards away from room and no lighting from parking to room so bring a... More

As above. Not much more to add. Since it is in a national park, we did not expect much. It was kind of dull, lackluster. Staff were there because bit was a job. Not much sincerity in their welcome or goodbye.

We loved staying at The Lodge at the Falls. The location can't be beat in terms of proximity to trails and activities. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed having a couple of options for food nearby; The Mountain Room was expensive but worth at least one visit. The concierge was especially helpful. The room was comfortable and clean.... More

I went to Yosemite for a cardiology conference that was being put on. Though not as clean as I would like it, Yosemite lodge is a perfect place to stay as you are right in the center of Yosemite, can wake up in the morning and have a fantastic view of the trees, rocks, smell of the outdoors. It's beautiful... More

We didn't spend much time at this lodge. We mainly chose it because its where the Grand tour starts and ends. If you can't get a night at this hotel you need to drive for 45 min to get here and thats a long time at 8:30 in the morning. The hotel was clean and the view was incredible. We... More

For a city girl who has never stayed in a national park, the Lodge was an interesting experience. Rooms were located chalet-style in two-storey buildings. Although we were on the first floor, the room felt safe and protected from bears. Hahaha I can't help feeling amused over the emphasis on keeping your food correctly so that bears won't come by... The location is everything on holiday. It was good to be able to stay right in the park but Yosemite Lodge does take advantage of this we thought. We considered it expensive in comparison with everywhere else we stayed on a 3 week tour of California. Unfortunately we had a dark room and a stained carpet. However the bathroom was... More

When I was younger and stayed here with my parents, I was always a little put off by what a dowdy and cheesy affair this hotel and its accompanying Food Court, Gift Shop, etc were, especially when compared with the jaw-opening, matchless natural grandeur of Yosemite Valley wrapped so closely all around. Gratefully, the Lodge At The Falls has seen... More
