Our family of three comfortably shared the apartment unit for two nights in mid-October as the B&B component was closed down for the season. But we were advised where to pick up groceries in the way into the Park and the kitchen was very well set up for cooking. The convenient pull down bed in the main living area nicely... More

My husband and I stayed in this self catering apartment for 4 days in October. There is a living area with kitchen and a pull down bed as well as a separate bedroom and 2 bathrooms. The owner, Karen, also runs a bed and breakfast business on the upper floors of the building. The apartment was very private and spacious... More

There was a fire in Yosemite when we were there in July 2014 and so our accommodations we were to stay in for 3 days were evacuated. Called Karen and she said we could stay the extra nights in addition to what we were already booked for and she gave recommendations for us in travel due to the change in... More

When we pulled up to the B&B and saw the wooden palace, we were excited as it was the ideal place to stay in Yosemite. Having hikes explained in detail and the friendly morning send offs during breakfast was a treat. The communal area is great and the sunsets high above the trees on the balcony at night are the... We are a family of three who spent four nights here in July and we were very glad we did. We stayed in room 1 which has a queen and a twin, both comfortable beds and immaculately clean. It was very quiet and cool at night as the B&B is at 6200' elevation. The down side to this location is... More

We are a family of 3 and stayed for 3 nights in July. Karen could not have been more welcoming from the early booking process (and you do need to book early) to whilst we were there. The room was great. The location is perfect. Nicely away from the crowds in the valley, but close to Glacier Point Road and... More

We had the pleasure of 3 nights at this fine B&B in late-July during our first visit to Yosemite. Our hosts were kind and concerned that we felt welcome, comfortable with our surroundings, and (each morning) well-fed. The breakfast menu included a main course (fratata - day 1, homemade fruit bread and french toast - day 2, and german pancakes... More

We stayed here for two nights, in the "new" apartment...a wonderful location and great support and advice from Karen who helped us navigate the vast park. The second "bed" is a pull out...so not perfect..but the hospitality can't be faulted.

We had a wonderful visit at the B and B. The location is wonderful for accessing the major areas of the park. If the stairs scare anyone, then you may not be up for some of the hikes! Bob gave great recommendations for hikes and loaned us beach chairs to lounge by the river bed. The chairs were great as... More

Location in the park is great as is the sunset view from the upper deck. Not kidding about the stairs. We had the room at the back with a Murphy bed which was dark and not wonderful but we could always go upstairs to the lounge. Very generous host with lots of information about the park. Yes, it is expensive... More
