The cabins at Old Faithful are very small. There was a double bed and a single bed. We had our Granddaughter with us. There was a desk with a chair and the sink was in the main room. Small closet size area had the toilet and shower stall. The shower had great water pressure. The cabin was small, but clean.... More

Small rooms but cozy. Nice shower, big toilet seat and bottle soup and cream excellent. Very close from the guyzer, walking distance. Beautiful morning. Early morning walk you'll see bison and more wildlife. restaurant very expensive but don't forget to stop at gas station to buy all your stuff. Keep gas full at all times. Go for boat ride. Rent... Overrated, under maintained, overused, outdated. At least the scenery was lovely. They've got you over a barrel, and they know it. Really a shame when you consider what you might pay for a three star elsewhere gets you a wooden shell shelter here. Greed.

I only booked 10 months in advance, so I had to settle for the cabin behind the lodge. Based on some of the other reviews, I was expecting the worst - bugs, dirt, cramped quarters and stained bedding. I was very surprised! The cabin was clean (no bugs - except those we invited in), quiet and certainly NOT the smallest... More

Frontier cabin for 2 people should be ok (cabins are joint to eachother, not detached) if your neighbour is civilised, otherwise you hear everything, mostly shower and jumping of kids until late in the evening. In our cabin washbasin varnish was off in several spots and for the price we paid we would expect something better. Negative: no fridge (we... More

Yes lived in a shed for 4 days. Its as well we left the cat in UK as there was no room to swing it! This was basic raw survival. Better than camping. No TV no Internet. No fridge. No Aircon (there are 2 sliding windows!). Bed was a bit on the small size. Lack of places to place toothbrush,... More

Small room, no ac (had portable fan), but so close to geysers, why not be in the middle of the sightseeing? Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Stay was during heat spell which could not be fore planned. Park was everything imagined. Breakfast was only a short walk to cafeteria/snack bar, free re-fills on coffee.

The location was good, just steps from old faithful but otherwise didn't get much sleep. The cabins are actually one building made into two cabins and the walls are so thin that the guy in the connecting cabin snored so loud it kept us awake! The bed was not comfortable and in the evening it was pretty warm in there... More

I got a cabin with a private bath and it was very nice. Got parking spots next to the cabin. The bathroom is small but still I think this is an excellent place to stay if you want to spend a night in the old faithful area. Non-expensive compared to Old Faithful Inn. Another plus is that the cabins are... More

The rustic cabins are much like a college dormitory (at least from when I was in college). Bed(s), a desk, and a sink. We could walk to a perfectly adequate bathroom building and a different shower (and bath) building in a very short distance. The rooms were old but clean and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of outlets... More
