Arriving at the cabin it is known these are a bit more basic and are designed to be without frills. With that being said the interior is comfortable, but a bit cramped - again, this was known up front prior to arrival. The management has done a good job to keep the amenities basic and experience a more simple environment.... More

The cabins are older but kept up well. Linens are provided. The only downfall is having to walk the the public restrooms and showers, but there is a sink and morror in the room. Nice views and only a short walk to Old Faithful. Friendly staff and plenty of activities near by.

We stay in the cabins every other year by Old Faithful. This time I had a cabin with a private bath which was excellent. There is no A/C but it was cool this last weekend so it was perfect. There is . fan in the room which was sufficient. We used the heater for a bit in the morning and... More

This is a great place to stay if you're cool with rustic style. There were no bathrooms in our cabins, no tv, air conditioning, or phone service. We could however have an individual performance provided by old faithful and many of the other geysers. There is a sink and a fan and that worked for us. We got a bit... More

We stayed in the cabin behind the lodge. Even though one mooring we woke up to no hot water it was not a big deal. The Geyser was right out the back door and we could walk over any time to watch it ... well every 90 mins or so. There was a coyote right in the back one mooring... More

We ended up staying in 2 cabins for our family of 5. Panned on staying in a 2 double with shared bath, but daughter broke ankle before we left. So ended up adding a double with private bath for my daughter. Both cabins were as expected, loved the location, away from the hustle & bustle of the Inn. I love... More

We were very pleased with our stay in the budget cabin. It sufficiently accommodated our family of four, although it was borderline too small, but we adjusted. We thought the lack of a bathroom would be a big deal, but it really wasn't. The bathroom and bathhouse were both close by. We actually loved that we were away from the... More

This is a very small cabin, but you just cannot beat the location. We stayed at other cabins and this is hands down the smallest. One full size bed and one single bed in a very small room. Could not share with more than 1 kid and that would be pushing it. But the proximity to Old Faithful cannot be... More

We stayed one night in one of the budget cabins located next to the Old Faithful Inn and the Old Faithful Geyser during the last week of May. We loved this little cabin - for us, it was just right, very charming and cozy. This was one of the cabins that did not have it's own bathroom. There were several... More

I stayed 5 nights in a Frontier Cabin during June 2014. They are bare bones, for sure. But at the same time they are comfortable, clean, and have hot water. Most of all: location, location, location. No complaints; I'd stay there again (if I could book one again - meh!).
