After six days of camping in and near the Grand Tetons, this rustic cabin suited our family well. We stayed one night in cabin #209, which is near the trails and just steps from Old Faithful. We mainly used this cabin to sleep at night because there was so much to see and do during the day. The cabin is... more

The property I am reviewing here is an Old Faithful Lodge cabin. There is such a variety of lodging types within Yellowstone, and so many to pick from especially in the Old Faithful village, that a vocabulary review is in order. In the parlance of the Park, a lodge is a central structure containing a registration desk, an eatery or... more

The cabins are small - two adults and a child barely fit. We had ants and since they do not use poisons they could not solve our ant problem. That being said it was very nice to be so close to all the Geysers and the pathes and walks ways are great- The dining options are good. You can easily... more

We stayed at the Old Faithful Lodge Cabins just before the season ended at the end of September. I'd never been to Yellowstone before, and my husband has been several times, and we both LOVED the cabins. They're so close to Old Faithful, we could look out our porch and watch it erupt. They were clean and just perfect for... more

My husband and I spent one night in one of the Old Faithful Lodge Frontier Cabins at the end of August. The cabin we stayed in was one of 4 units in one building. They are not log cabins, but just little wooden buildings. Each side of the square little building has a door for one of the units. Upon... more

If you want to stay in the park and don't want to spend a lot of money, and you don't make your reservation far in advance, this is a good place to stay. I loved how rustic it was. It was kind of like glorified camping, which I liked since I love camping and my husband refuses to camp. Everything... more

We stayed in a Frontier Cabin for 2 nights. The location is great - loved walking around the geyser basin both early morning and evening time, without the crowds. Apart from the great location other aspects of the lodge area were a little disappointing. The room was basic but not an issue, the lack of a plug for the bathroom... more

I stayed in a Frontier Cabin - two double beds. The room was quite large - bathroom tiny. Great to be able to just get up and go for a walk around the geyser basin first thing in the morning. Would stay again. These are rustic very old, well worn cabins. If you want a nicer room you need to... more

We stayed in a "pet-friendly" cabin with a bathroom. While the cabins were small and basic, they were clean. Being about 200 yards from Old Faithful was a real plus for evening viewings with a glass of wine after the tourists have left. There was a "camping" atmosphere about the cabins. They are not set in the most scenic area... more

Our stay at the Old Faithful Lodge Cabin was awesome! The price was terrific, the setting incredibly beautiful, and we were stunned to see TWO bison amble just 4 feet away outside our cabin door! The cabin was super clean, the windows on 2 sides and the front door give lots of air, and the adjacent toilet and shower facilities... more
