These cabins are rustic but a nice option if you want to stay in the park but don't want to risk the weather camping (and lucky too- it snowed both nights we were there). We had a private bath cabin- they're not huge, but have a double bed (comfortable) and fit in a desk, sink (in room) and then separate... More

Great location!! By far, this is the place to be, especially if you manage to get the cabins that back to Old Faithful. The only drawback is that they do not have private bathrooms; even so, I thought they were the best option. The cabins are tiny, with a sink, and 2 double beds. No air conditioning, tv or coffee... We took a road trip from the Northwest to Yellowstone Nat'l Park last Summer and stayed in one of the Old Faithful Lodge Cabins to be inside the park for our stay. The benefits were that it was much less expensive than ANYWHERE outside the park and it saved having go through the park gate lines each day. The drawbacks,... More

Obviously staying here is much more about location than amenities or room quality. Since I have stayed at the majority of in-park accomodations at least once I will compare to those rather non-park hotels. First the location is great, a two minute walk and you are looking at Old Faithful or on the path to Geyser Hill and beyond. And... More

We stayed in this cabin for 2 nights in September 2014. It is like camping with four walls, a roof and 2 twin beds. Like what others said, bathroom and shower are common and located in a different cabin. Not having a private bath/toilet was difficult for us. There was no problem with parking. Our cabin is close to the... More

I luckily figured out I was about to head to the wrong place. There's the Old Faithful Inn, and then the Old Faithful Lodge. One is significantly cheaper! There is no wireless internet in the cabins, or in the lodge central area, so be prepared to be isolated, which can be a very good thing. The room itself may seem... More

We stayed two nights at the cabins. A word of warning for you, we booked almost a year in advance for a July stay and still didn't get the cabin we wanted. These are extremely popular - book early. Our party of five booked two cabins and the staff was able to get two adjacent ones. Each cabin is about... More

As the time we made a booking most of the cabins were already sold out, so the only option was a cabin with no toilet and shower. We stayed only for 2 nights and used the local toilet and shower and it was totally OK! Nice and clean and not crowded at all! Room itself was clean and modest but... More

Last time I came I here I stayed one night in the Inn, but was slow off the mark booking this time so settled for the Lodge Cabins, and they were absolutely fine. You get to use all of the facilities in the Inn – the bar, restaurant etc (if you book), and they’re a bit more interesting, and expensive,... More

We stayed three nights in September in a Frontier Cabin. The cabin was clean but in need of some refurbishment. In particular, the glaze on the wash basin was badly chipped around the taps so there were quite large sections of unglazed earthenware visible. The room was also very cramped with one side of the bed about 6 inches from... More
