Small cabin with a desk, bed, and heater. There is no private bathroom so you'll need to use the public one close to all the cabins. They have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. It is very close to the cafeteria and a short walk to Old Faithful.

We took a last minute trip to Yellowstone National Park. Being that said, there were very few accommodations available. Supposedly you need to book months or a year in advance. We did get a reservation in a cabin at the Old Faithful Lodge. The cabin is small and the bathroom even smaller. The cabin is semi-clean. The bed & bathroom... More

We stayed four days as a base camp. The cabins are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours had our own bathroom, but some do not and have a communal facility. It is so close to Old Faithful, that some have a view right out their window! Since beds are a double or twin, plan on togetherness while sleeping. For a... More

We stayed in a budget cabin with one double and one single bed, shared bathroom. Pros: Great location, walk to the boardwalks and Old Faithful. Parking at the cabin, so no need to fight for space in the general parking lot. Pleasant decor, plenty of light, linens seemed clean, heater worked well. Ice machine for guests nearby. Affordable rates compared... More

The cabins were easy to locate and check-in was quick and easy...no surprises there, though because the cabins are rustic, they give you an actual physical key to get into your room, not a keycard. Granted, we were only staying for one night here, but I was still surprised to see how small the room was...barely enough room for one... More

This cabin in the Old Faithful area was adequate, as we were only there for 1 night to sleep. Did not hang-out in cabin. Small cabin a bit outdated, nice rustic decor. 1 dbl bed (not very comfortable), which was pushed up against the wall, which made me have to climb over my husband or uncover bedding & shimmy down... We stayed on night with a family of 5 in a Rustic Cabin! VERY clean and updated. Way above my expectations. We had just come from a KOA cabin outside of the park so to be treated to linens and crispy clean white towels was such a surprise and bonus! We had plenty of room and the short walk to... More

Old Faithful - and these cabins are part of the Old Faithful complex - has long been one of my favorite places on earth. I visit nearly yearly. The area remains outstandingly beautiful. The Parks Department manages the miles of natural splendor and they do a phenomenal job (I am a big fan of our National Parks). Dining and Lodging... More

If you don't want to spend a fortune staying in hotels at yellowstone, this is a good place. Each lodge holds only two people in a double bed. I liked it because it as near the cafeteria which had very nice options that were very reasonable, and also away from the crowds and noise of the hotels. All in all... More

All is in the title! Yellowstone was part of a US 3-weeks road trip and when I booked accomodations in March 2015, I had no other choice left but a cabin. So we spent 1 night in Old Faithful Lodge cabins, 1 at the Lake Hotel and 1 at Headwaters. To be honest, I know that August is peak season... More
