This hotel and the cabins are really located in a nice place. Moose will be right out of your cabin in the evening. You can experinace the park and wildlife right from the spot. The problem here is, that the not cheap cabins are really in a lousy condition. The carpet is worn out and really dirty. The coverlet is... More

We arrived here with high expectations but left disappointed.Hotel is picturesque, at least on the side facing the lake. Lots of construction on the other side to negotiate around after parking.Lobby was pretty and our room was renovated but quite small. Room was noisy with terrible light pollution so did not sleep well. The restaurant is subpar for a hotel... More

We stayed for one night in a 2-room suite with our two teenagers. The hotel is an elegant grand hotel with a beautiful lobby and lounge. Our suite was spacious, well decorated, and had wired and wifi internet. There was a refrigerator and pull-out couch in the living room, a comfortable queen bed in the bedroom, and a large bathroom.... More

We loved the Lake Hotel, and it was much nicer than either of us anticipated. Our only complaint is that the food in the restaurant is not very good, and not worth the money. Would recommend going to other park cafeterias instead - there is one just down the road, and we had breakfast, lunch, and dinners in cafeterias around... More

We stayed in one of the cabins which was fairly basic but perfectly comfortable, and the key here is the fantastic location right in the centre of Yellowstone. The food in the hotel restaurant was good and not too pricey, bearing in mind the general lack of food options in the Park, but they really needed to spend more time... More

This was a return visit for us to the hotel, we stayed her in 2007. It was exactly as expected, we were in the wing to the right of the hotel as you came out. The rooms were larger than in the main building and were comfortable. The shop in the hotel, sold items we had not found elsewhere in... More

Although quite pricey at $385 a night, our room was nicely furnished and had a picture perfect view of the lake not to mention the lovely bathroom with the same view. We could watch the amazing colors in the sky during sun-up and sun-set from our window. The restaurant has the best food in the Park but our favorite place... More

I stayed here for five nights in July 2006 on the third floor with a very nice view of the lake. The room was large with a nice size bathroom but the furnishings were what you would expect from a park hotel. The bed was fairly comfortable but there was no AC and it was very hot even though they... More

The room and bathroom were very nice. An armchair, table, additional desk and chair, no microwave, no fridge. Nice coffee machine. The shower had plenty of water. Parking was a problem, one evening we had to drive round for 20 min to find a parking spot. Day use takes a lot of spaces, I think there should be reserved spaces... More

I was with a Tauck Tour Group. The Hotel would've been upgraded to my standard of above average if there was complimentary wireless WiFi facility. The surrounding environment & the ambience of the " public area " & the restaurant were very pleasant. Definitely worth a stay.
