We spent seven nights at this hotel. We stayed in the annex. The rooms were adequate but dated and very dark. Our room faced the rear and was very close to the forest which was the reason for the lack of light. However the room was clean. We mainly had our evening meal at the lodge. This is okay but... More

We wanted to stay one night in Yellowstone, however we decided to try staying in a cabin. I would not do that again because the hotel is quite old and the cabins had no phones, no TV , no A/C or fridge. I felt the rate for this kind of accommodation was a bit high ($175) a night. However, the... More

The hotel has history, but the recent renovations have sanitised this. It is now has a rather impersonal feel. There is a large sun lounge overlooking the lake, but is open to all-comers so is extremely busy with residents struggling to get a seat with various hikers recovering asleep on the sofas. This room is also very noisy; not helped... More

Stayed in annex. The Victorian charm exceeded expectations. If it had wifi, tv, and a/c, I'd rate 5 star. Loved being on the lake. Enjoyed the lounge and view nightly, especially getting to know the locals who work there. Keurigs in the room were a pleasant surprise. The walls are a bit thin (snoring in next room kept me up).

My husband and I stayed in the main hotel building. Which was recently refurbished. The room was lovely. Be aware theire is only internet service in the business center, unless you pay an additional fee for in room service. We loved the location of the hotel. You are right in the middle of the park. This saves travel time. You should take... More

We stayed in the Lake Yellowstone Hotel & cabins with our children ( 9, 11 & 12). They loved the cabins and we walked everywhere. Lake Yellowstone Hotel was beautiful. The views of the lake and the atmosphere were great. The restaurant was good but was very crowded. I did feel bad for an elderly man who was told he... More

This hotel is right on Yellowstone Lake with spectacular views in a neoclassical style which was quite unexpected in a national park. Beautiful rooms, stall showers, elegant dining room, first class all the way. Wonderful place to stay.

We generally had a good rest here at the hotel. Rooms were extremely clean and neat but rather small. There is no wifi and paid internet connection by ethernet cable is very slow and definitely not worth the money. The deli serves good food as well. The restaurant has good service but however the food was just average at best.... More

Yeah, the hotel is near the lake. But there is nothing to see. Just boring lake. No room service, no TV or refrigerator, no Wifi, no roll away bed, no food allowed in the room and no free breakfast. And you still have to pay $400 per night. My room on the 2nd floor and has a lake view. I... More

Our family of seven stayed in two cabins at the Lake Yellowstone Hotel in early July. The setting was absolutely wonderful, with the main hotel set on the lake. It was a grand, historic national park lodge, with large sitting areas, piano bar in the lobby and fantastic restaurant. The check-in receptionist from Michigan was extremely friendly and helpful, and... More
