Lake Yellowstone Hotel What it is-- Historic and beautiful--Right on the lake, the scenery and location are extraordinary. My family loved the "grand" feeling of the lobby and sunroom, it was like stepping back in time. The string quartet playing that evening was a beautiful touch--my 8 year-old daughter was amazed by the "first-class" feeling of it all. The views... More

We paid top dollar for the "presidential suite." Bellman knew we had a child that needed to sleep in the pull-out bed. He didn't bother to tell us that there were no sheets or pillows for that bed. We called housekeeping, who promised to set up the bed. Four hours later (after dinner) nothing had changed. Another call to housekeeping... More

We have stayed at the hotel twice before and were pleasantly surprised how nice it is since the remodel. Room was nicer than any room we have stayed in at any National Park hotel. I am sure the remodel cost millions and your are going to pay for it. The hotel is very relaxing and the food is good. With... More

We stayed in the main hotel in the renovated section. Our room as really clean and lovely. We especially liked the walk-in shower in the bathroom. I do agree with the other reviewers....the price of this room was outrageous, but was nice to be staying in the park. We did have some issues with where the room was located. I... More

We paid $400 for one night's stay. It's great being inside the park, but that is an astronomical amount for the lack of amenities you get. The hotel itself has a beautiful lobby area with gorgeous views of Lake Yellowstone. There is a restaurant where you can make reservations, a deli, and a cafeteria (in the lodge), but everything was... More

We love the Lake Hotel and stay there each time we stay in Yellowstone. Let me say the renovations to the hotel have been very well done. However raising the prices by 50% in the last 4 years seems over the top and excessive. If you want to charge 5 star prices, then you need to be a 5 star... More

My family and I loved this quaint hotel in the heart of Yellowstone National Park. We only had one night here, but we wished we could stay longer. Piano music in the lobby and an overall atmosphere of another era made us feel like we were living in the past for awhile. The food in the restaurant was very good... More

We recently had the pleasure of spending 5 days and four nights in Yellowstone Park. We elected to stay at the Lake Yellowstone cabins. There were four of us. Me and my wife and a couple of good friends of ours. We got cabins right next to each other and they were all we could have asked for. There were... More

Stayed in cabin at Lake Yellowstone Hotel for 5 nights. Cabin was fine, two double beds, shower with plenty of hot water, coffee making machine but no fridge. Not sure if they have enough housemaids - came back twice about 3.30 pm and our room had not been serviced. Also had to ask for coffee for machine - think once... More

You are simply paying too much fro what you get. That's their unique position in such a great place. Checking-in went terrible. We received a key-card and upon arriving at the room (5 minute walk), we found it worked with a regular key. When checking out, we found it was cheaper than what we booked and it turned out we...
