We stayed here for 4 nights during our tour of Yellowstone Park. It was a bit more expensive than we would usually spend, but the rooms were absolutely gorgeous. The dining room provided a vast choice for breakfast, but we preferred to eat in the "Deli Bar" which offered much simpler choices such as porridge, granola, yogurt and fresh fruit.... More

We has three nights in the cabins opposite the Yellowstone Lake Hotel. We feared something similar to our Yosemite cabin experience, which was not good. We had a three minute walk from the hotel, opened the door and we were both pleasantly surprised. Two double beds in a good sized room with a wash hand basin and couple of tables.... More

The hotel is nice for the middle of the woods. Bar is too small but drinks are good. Skip the main restaurant for dinner, food is awful, try deli instead. The rooms were decent size, clean and more modern than I was expecting. Good option for the park if you don't like to "rough it'.

Unsecured window rattled most of the night. Woke up totally stuffed up and thinking I'd come down with a cold but found it was from the thick layer of dust around the chair rail in the cabin. Holes in the curtains and mold/mildewed bathroom. Although it's a cheap alternative to the hotel, if I had it to do over again,... More

We spent three nights in one of the cabins here. They were rustic and charming. The bathroom was modernized and the beds were very comfortable. No tv or wifi but we knew this ahead of time and were ok with this...we did not miss either one. We did have decent cell phone coverage. Good location for exploring the park. We... More

Wonderful stay. From the moment we walked through the front door and met the friendly staff, to being pleasantly surprised at our amazing room, to our dining experience, it all rated a 10+. The views are spectacular.

We visited Yellowstone National Park and decided that one day was not enough! Tried at the last minute to get a room for one night during the height of the tourist season! At dinnertime I guess they were ready to get rid of the rooms that were left because they found a room. They insisted it was discounted and we... More

We actually booked these yellow frontier cabins by mistake but we were pleasantly surprised by how good they were. They are very spacious - good sized shower area and had 2 beds. The sheets on the bed don't pull up very high (to cover the blankets) and this was a problem at Old Faithful Inn as well. The beds are... More

This is a lovely historic hotel, recently renovated and in beautiful condition. Our room was reasonably spacious and had a beautiful vintage-look bath. This is the rare or maybe only hotel in Yellowstone to offer king size beds. The location is excellent--about a half hour drive from the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and about 45 minutes from Old Faithful. The... More

This grand old hotel is the pick of the park. It is centrally located and has a rich heritage. Located on the lake it is a beautiful location. There is no wifi though. The room was big with a good size updated bathroom. There are no TV's either. The cabins did not look too appealing.
