This hotel is situated in an ideal location within spitting distance of The Lake. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms freshly remodeled.   However, there is no television, wifi or air conditioning. Some may find this lack of standard amentities charming, but most will find them inconvenient. Frankly, when you are paying $330 a night rate plus a $17... More

Stayed one night and very disappointed. Thought I paid for room in main lodge. Put us in adjoining overflow building. Had booked four months in advance. Carpet in very poor shape, actually disgusting. Remember food is prepared by college students that haven't cooked for self before and it shows. Soup was barely warm. Mashed potatoes cool. Meat must have been... More

After the park rangers herded a bison from the parking lot, the check in process was quick and the staff very friendly. We stayed in the hotel annex. Our room only had two double beds and is in desperate need of updating. The bar/lounge area was a fantastic place to enjoy happy hour. Both nights we were there they had... More

This lodge on beautiful Lake Yellowstone has been recently renovated and has comfortable, air conditioned rooms with higher end bathroom facilities than Old Faithful Inn. The common areas are well appointed and the restaurant serves good food (compared w/ other park lodges). There was a string quartet playing during happy hour and we enjoyed them while having a drink from... More

Lake Hotel at Yellowstone is a remarkable, historic building. It is very comfortable and has most of the facilities you would expect of a top quality hotel. We had a very nice room, which was warm (vital at night here) and very comfortable. The check-in procedure was efficient and quick We arrived the first day it was open for the... More

This was represented as the upscale hotel in Yellowstone and certainly the pricing of $400 + per night would indicate that . But there was no Gym, no free internet, no TV or robes and slippers. For a national Park not to have TV it is acceptable but then we would have liked a Daily news update paper..... as one... More

I visited June 2015. Stayed in king size room $383/ night plus taxes and so on...about $425 or so. For that price I expected room service, valet parking and at least food at the bar. Only place for a meal was at the dining room. I ended having dinner at 9 pm every day. I did tried to make reservations,... More

Recommend! I've stayed here twice now, and was equally impressed both times. The hotel faces Yellowstone Lake. A wild bison took a sunbath on the lawn which added to the character of the surroundings. This is a great place to unplug, and unwind!

This hotel is in a lovely setting and being in the park, it is in a scenic location. The inside of the hotel is quite nice and the dinning area is very attractive. However, things go somewhat down hill from there. Internet is extra. The service at breakfast was awful. One morning we had to ask three times to get... More

We stayed in one of the cabins and it was clean but the beds were pretty small. My husband and I had to sleep in separate beds. The deli had really good sandwiches. The deli said it offered a continental breakfast, but when I went into it in the morning people were having to buy their breakfast. The room was... More
