I booked the Lake Lodge Cabins this past summer. They are past Yellowstone Lake Hotel, and the cabins themselves are somewhat away from the lake,in a forested area. The cabins are beautiful, with private bathrooms, nice amenities, coffee maker. As with all Yellowstone properties, there is no tv in the room. The cabins are grouped in series of approx. 3,... We have stayed at the Lake Lodge Cabins two consecutive July's now. Both times we paid the extra bucks to stay in the updated cabins that have the two queen beds. The cabins don't look like much from the road, but the upgraded rooms are very nice. The location is one of our favorites. Bison roam the parking lots, the... More

the lodge was a convenient location in the park and a lake near in it the parking was also nice this was also one of the few places to sleep with private bathrooms in the park. those were the only good things about it. The rooms were a bit noisy due to the thin walls and I could hear a... More

Initially booked for 6 nights at Lake, glad at the last minute I was able to book 1 night at Canyon Lodge and 2 nights at OF lodge. This was the very first time I stayed at a cabin. I was advice by TA members to stay outside the park however I wanted to have the feel of staying inside... More

I stayed in Pioneer Cabin E15 for two nights in late September. Unlike most cabins in the park these have bathrooms which is really nice on a cold night. The bathroom is tiny and about as basic as can be but it gets the job done. The cabin is decent sized with a lot of open space, a comfortable bed,... More

This is the best rustic cabin we stayed-in at YNP. The room is big enough for the 3 of us; had 2 queen beds; We have our own bathroom and shower. Cafeteria is walking distanc big from our cabin. What is so nice about the cafeteria is, the porch is facing the lake with rocking chairs. The lobby has a... More

We had a cabin for four girls in June, the busy season for tourists. Room was basic cabin, one double bed and one single with a trundle, fine for two adults and two teenagers. Basic bathroom. Coffee maker and frig in room. Yellowstone is very ecoconscious, so attempts at recycling are everywhere. The cabin was a short walk from the... More

We stayed three nights in September in a Frontier Cabin. The cabin was a bit cramped, but clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. There was some hanging space, but very little other storage, so we were living out of our suitcases during our time there. Our cabin was in the middle of the site and the road to it... More

Our cabin was tiny but warm and clean. No coffee/tea supplied in our "shoebox" which would have been nice. I had to walk down to the Lodge every morning for my coffee fix! We booked 5 cabins and had hoped to be close to each other but our cabins were quite far from each other. This was our second trip... More

We stayed in one of the newer style blocks of 4 cabins furthest from the lodge. The room was clean and large enough for us with good quality towels and toiletries. The heater proved essential. The bulbs are all energy saving ones so expect a murky cabin until they warm up. Some outside seating around the cabins would have been... More
