We stayed in one of the newer style blocks of 4 cabins furthest from the lodge. The room was clean and large enough for us with good quality towels and toiletries. The heater proved essential. The bulbs are all energy saving ones so expect a murky cabin until they warm up. Some outside seating around the cabins would have been... More

You expect to pay more for staying inside Yellowstone, but for the around 200$they could provide a better service. There is no general store, wi-fi available only in the lobby and for unreasonable price, there is no picnic area or any possibility to cook your own food. The road to the cabin is broken.

Lake Village consists of 3 distinct accommodations: the Hotel, the Lake Lodge, and the Cottages. The Hotel is a large, yellow, imposing building resembling an oversized, Boarding School. It improves significantly as soon as you get inside, with a pleasant early-20th Century historic character and a good restaurant with views of the lake. We also went to the restaurant inside... More

By cabin standards, these are simply furnished and what you might expect from any national or state park. Others have noted no TV or wireless but that's NOT why you come here. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the bathroom was very serviceable. Linens were provided as well. Our cabin was clean, quiet, and an easy walk to... More

On the nights of Sept. 1 and 2, 2014, we stayed in a cabin in the Lake Lodge area of Yellowstone. Late in the first evening, we arrived to find that our room had eggshells under the table. Since there were no phones, and it was late, we decided to wait till morning to inform the "desk" about the problem.... More

This location normally offered easy access to main sites in the Park; however, road closures added an hour to the normal driving time (e.g., to Old Faithful). The cabin consisted of a bathroom attached to one room with two beds, a desk, and a dresser. It was basic but adequate (e.g., it included a Keurig coffee maker). One morning, a... More

We were in A row, a very easy walk from the Lodge. Although there was barely room to walk around the bed and nowhere to sit but on the bed (we used the chairs as suitcase stands), and the bathroom had just enough room to turn around in, the setting is so spectacular, and the cost is so affordable, that... I read the Tripadvisor reviews AFTER we had booked and paid for three nights at these cabins. I was not looking forward to the stay and expected the worse. Fortunately, I was surprised with what I received. The cabin was one of the newer ones (I'm guessing Rows G and up) and was beautiful and comfortable. The room was spotlessly... More

We returned from our Yellowstone sojourn last week. It was a very good trip. Only reason I'm not saying "excellent" is because of Mother Nature's wrath. We had a couple of bad-weather days. We stayed at Old Faithful, Lake Lodge (Cabin), Canyon, Snow Lodge, Mammoth (Cabin).... I was in at least 3 cabins, around the $100 range. I would say... More

We stayed in a frontier cabin in early September. It was the third frontier cabin of our stay -- we had already stayed at Snow Lodge cabins and Roosevelt cabins. Of the three, the Lake Lodge cabin was the most expensive but was the smallest space. We preferred the space of Snow Lodge cabin and the space and standalone nature... More
