Stayed in a western cabin at Lake Lodge (not Lake Hotel) with 2 queen beds in row G-be sure to request rows G or H in the trees and looked nicer than the ones we saw in the earlier rows. Saw two young bucks playing just a couple cabins over. Was pleasantly surprised was more like a hotel room and... More

This is one of the best deals in Yellowstone. Sadly, it reflects the adage, "you get what you pay for". The rooms are quite small. They are not particularly clean. They offer few, if any, amenities. There is no view of the lake and they lack the rustic charm of the Canyon lodge (sadly scheduled to be torn down). The... More

There were four of us that stayed in a western cabin and it was a lot bigger than we expected and beautiful and clean and very modern. The bathroom was of very high quality and a good size. The room had everything in it that we needed including a coffee machine. The staff were very friendly and efficient and booked... More

I give it four stars as the western cabin actually exceeded our expectations. It was larger than your average 2 queen hotel room, tasteful decor/log furniture, nice bathroom, quiet location, had a Buffalo grazing right near the cabin. After seeing how busy the other main spots were (Old Faithful, Mammoth, Canyon) I am so glad we chose Lake Lodge area.... More

We stayed in the Lake Lodge Pioneer Cabin with 1 Double Bed. This old style cabin is exactly what they claim - small and old. HOWEVER, if you plan to immerse yourself in the park, this cabin is just fine. It is clean and in good repair. If you only plan to sleep there, this is a good choice. If... More

We spent 4 nights in a Western Cabin at the Lake Lodge in Yellowstone. The cabins were larger than expected, with recently remodeled bathrooms (way exceeded my expectations), comfortable beds and furniture. The only thing lacking in these cabins was outdoor seating. Each cabin has a small "porch" but the only way to use it is by dragging furniture outside... More

Stayed in a Lake Lodge western cabin for a week. The cabins have plenty of room, 2 queen beds, a private bath, and a coffee maker. While not luxurious, they were great for our stay in YNP. The rooms were clean and spacious compared to the other cabins. The location is good - centrally located so you can get to... More

We spent a week in one of the Lake Lodge Western cabins. Very pleased with the accommodations. The cabins were very comfortable, there were two double beds, a dresser and a very nice bathroom with tub/shower and toilet. The sink and mirror were located next to the bathroom. There was a Keurig coffee/tea maker with a daily supply of coffee... More

We stayed at the Frontier Lake Cabins (the yellow ones right by the hotel) for 3 nights. The cabins were very clean and comfortable. We had two double beds and a shower. They only have showers. There was no wi fi or TV which was fine for us because we go to Yellowstone to see the beauty of nature and... More

Although they are rustic, we were delighted with the cabins. We stayed in three cabins in the 600 block. Three families, two babies, a six year old and space to wander. We enjoyed the string trio before an amazing dinner in the lodge, with the added benefit of running around in the woods back and forth to the cabins. We... More
