Sadly, the cabins are completely lacking in character. Relatively comfortable bed, tiny bathroom (not bad, just small), adequate lighting and an ancient heater that we needed due to a very cold and rainy visit. But the Zantera concessionaire at Lake Lodge is horrible. Truly bad not remotely good cafeteria food. Skip it. Brave the rain if you have to and... More

Booked these cabins because, frankly, we couldn't get anything else in the park so we weren't expecting much. In fact, they are quite large for two people, adequate for 4, and very nicely appointed. The area is quiet, right by the Lake (obviously) with very nice grounds. After this experience, these will be the first accommodations I try for next... More

They don't look like much from the outside but the room was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a great shower. I had more of a "cabin" in mind but it is more like a private motel room. The Lodge is at the front of the driveway to the cabins and is a wonderful place. Great lobby and front porch to... More

I expected the cabin to be, well more of a cabin. It felt more like just a few hotel rooms in a row. Would have liked to have a fire pit outside, maybe some chairs and to be a bit more isolated in the woods. However it was clean, comfortable with its fan and heat and the decor was nice.

We stayed here for two nights the first week of August and were very pleasantly surprised. The rooms have been renovated beautifully and were very comfortable. It was a little chilly at night and the heat worked well. Was nice to have a coffee maker in the room as well. Would have been nice to have a few chairs on... More

We've stayed there because all other accomodation options were full that weekend. The cabin was very old, very basic and super small. We couldn't use the shower in the morning because it was SOOOO cold and the heater didn't work.. I wouldn't stay there again. No one expects Marriott in a national park (it would be just wrong) but the... More

We loved our stay at the Lake Lodge Cabins! We were told they were renovated and upon arrival and after first inspection, I agree that they did a class A job. The bedding is comfortable, rooms have everything you need, and the bathroom and toiletries were great! I had plenty of room and was just up the hill from the... More

We stayed in the 2-queen renovated Lake Lodge western cabins, and a friend stayed in the single cabin. We really liked our 2 queen cabin. Good beds, fun rustic furniture, coffee/tea maker, tub/shower, quiet and very clean. The lodge just down the road with WIFI was a great atmosphere, and the cafeteria/restaurant had no lines and good quality food -... More

Stayed in a western cabin at Lake Lodge (not Lake Hotel) with 2 queen beds in row G-be sure to request rows G or H in the trees and looked nicer than the ones we saw in the earlier rows. Saw two young bucks playing just a couple cabins over. Was pleasantly surprised was more like a hotel room and... More

This is one of the best deals in Yellowstone. Sadly, it reflects the adage, "you get what you pay for". The rooms are quite small. They are not particularly clean. They offer few, if any, amenities. There is no view of the lake and they lack the rustic charm of the Canyon lodge (sadly scheduled to be torn down). The... More
