I stayed in Pioneer Cabin E15 for two nights in late September. Unlike most cabins in the park these have bathrooms which is really nice on a cold night. The bathroom is tiny and about as basic as can be but it gets the job done. The cabin is decent sized with a lot of open space, a comfortable bed,... More

This is the best rustic cabin we stayed-in at YNP. The room is big enough for the 3 of us; had 2 queen beds; We have our own bathroom and shower. Cafeteria is walking distanc big from our cabin. What is so nice about the cafeteria is, the porch is facing the lake with rocking chairs. The lobby has a... More

We had a cabin for four girls in June, the busy season for tourists. Room was basic cabin, one double bed and one single with a trundle, fine for two adults and two teenagers. Basic bathroom. Coffee maker and frig in room. Yellowstone is very ecoconscious, so attempts at recycling are everywhere. The cabin was a short walk from the... More

We stayed three nights in September in a Frontier Cabin. The cabin was a bit cramped, but clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. There was some hanging space, but very little other storage, so we were living out of our suitcases during our time there. Our cabin was in the middle of the site and the road to it... More

Our cabin was tiny but warm and clean. No coffee/tea supplied in our "shoebox" which would have been nice. I had to walk down to the Lodge every morning for my coffee fix! We booked 5 cabins and had hoped to be close to each other but our cabins were quite far from each other. This was our second trip... More

We stayed in one of the newer style blocks of 4 cabins furthest from the lodge. The room was clean and large enough for us with good quality towels and toiletries. The heater proved essential. The bulbs are all energy saving ones so expect a murky cabin until they warm up. Some outside seating around the cabins would have been... More

You expect to pay more for staying inside Yellowstone, but for the around 200$they could provide a better service. There is no general store, wi-fi available only in the lobby and for unreasonable price, there is no picnic area or any possibility to cook your own food. The road to the cabin is broken.

Lake Village consists of 3 distinct accommodations: the Hotel, the Lake Lodge, and the Cottages. The Hotel is a large, yellow, imposing building resembling an oversized, Boarding School. It improves significantly as soon as you get inside, with a pleasant early-20th Century historic character and a good restaurant with views of the lake. We also went to the restaurant inside... By cabin standards, these are simply furnished and what you might expect from any national or state park. Others have noted no TV or wireless but that's NOT why you come here. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the bathroom was very serviceable. Linens were provided as well. Our cabin was clean, quiet, and an easy walk to... More

On the nights of Sept. 1 and 2, 2014, we stayed in a cabin in the Lake Lodge area of Yellowstone. Late in the first evening, we arrived to find that our room had eggshells under the table. Since there were no phones, and it was late, we decided to wait till morning to inform the "desk" about the problem.... More
