The Dunraven Lodge is in the Canyon Lodge complex. It is one of the newer buildings in the park and you can tell. The rooms are large and well outfitted with nice lodge pole furniture. Ours had two double beds, a round table with two chairs, a long table with a bench, a closet area with a bench for a... more

Ok, this review is a bit challenging to write. I did like the place, but I am a stickler for cleanliness, so when I found long woman's hairs on the blanket (yes, more than one), it immediately lowered my opinion of the Dunraven. And no, it wasn't my wife's, as she hadn't gotten close the beds yet. Unfortunately, that wasn't... more

My husband , I and our three girls stayed three nights at Dunraven Lodge. It was a very pretty building and the rooms were a nice size with a good layout. The bathroom vanity was outside of the toilet/shower. That is always nice when so many are trying to get ready. The check in for the lodge is at the... more

We booked the Dunraven a long time ahead and in a bit of a hurry so were not quite sure what we were going to get, but were pleasantly surprised. It is at the back of the Canyon Lodge area, so no passing traffic, and rooms are large and well furnished. It is just a lodge building with no services... more

We stayed one night in the Dunraven Lodge and was very surprised. The room was cozy, cute, quiet and very clean. We traveled with our handicapped daughter and booked a handicapped room. The space was great and the bathroom had a roll in shower. Very convenient for our daughter. The room was basic but nicely decorated. The beds were very... more

We stayed at the Dunraven Lodge for two nights during our trip to Yellowstone National Park. The Dunraven Lodge is nestled near the back of Canyon Village in the center of Yellowstone Park. It is a central location and allowed us to complete the upper loop of the park one day and the lower loop the second day. The Dunraven... more

We found out about this place with "The Suburbanite Adventure Travel Series: Yellowstone" - it's my favorite book about Yellowstone - very funny and informative - it told us about this place and the Dunraven is just what it said - just a great place to relax with the family - great views and all the little joys you're looking... more

We stayed in their high range room for one night at the end of August. Because we made a late decision to go to yellowstone (1 ½ months before arrival), there was only canyon frontier cabin available when I called xanterra at the first time. After keeping calling them 4-5 times, we were able to get our room. There was... more

What a nice modern room. We are really glad we picked this instead of the duplex cabins scattered around the property. It was away from the village area which meant we had to drive to eat, but it was also quiet. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in the Canyon Area of Yellowstone. more

When we arrived, our room was not ready, but the gentleman at the counter put us in a room that was ready to go. What a great room! We stayed on the ground floor on a back-side room that looked out over the trees and could hear elk bugling in the evening. Our room was very large with two queen... more
