The lodge was too far from the cafeteria, had no lobby, no views, pretty uncomfortable beds and hard to get to through all the noisy construction. I know that is temporary but I made my reservations a year in advance trying my best to understand the layout of available food service. In that year the new lodges became available and... More

Basic room, though charmingly furnished and had a great bed. Facility is generally clean and quiet. Central location to see that side of the park. No amenities for the high price. They did not keep creamer and sugar for coffee for the second day, and we had to go to the Canyon Village office to get them. We left a... More

We were not thrilled with the view out of our window, but we only stayed there one night so maybe they gave us one of the lesser rooms. The room itself was very clean and quite large. No TV, internet, etc. We paid over $200 for the room, and it was comparable to a motel room, so it was pretty... More

According to the very helpful booking staff, the room at Dunraven was the only thing left in the park when I booked. The Canons area is centrally located, so it seemed like a good place to park for two nights. There was construction all around. That wasn't such an issue, but the fact that non-construction areas look like constructions areas... More

Wife and I stayed here in September 2014 for 3 nights. We booked early and asked for a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the woods. Plenty of drawers and closet space, the beds were comfortable and the view was great. I looked out and a buffalo was grazing right below our window! There are no TVs... More

Very dusty and rather limited parking when we were there in June 2015, but it should all be clear for 2016 season. We loved the room - so bright and fresh and great night's sleep both nights. It should be a nice walk to the Canyon Lodge on an evening when the dust and dirt has gone. There is an... More

We stayed for 4 nights in yellowstone in July. I booked the lodge when they first came out last year. At the time dunraven lodge was number 1 on trip advisor. I specifically asked for dunraven (not cascade) and we did get this. We stayed here for 2 nights due to its central location as we planned to do the... More

High price and construction put a damper on this one. $250 a night is outrageous for this location. Every room was booked so planning well in advance is necessary. Beds are comfortable. Clean rooms. Coffee and tea selection is good. Way finding signage was minimal from check-in location which is about a quarter of a mile from room. Canyon Village... More

Our stay was pleasant at the Dunraven Lodge for 3 nights in July. They do have elevators, so carrying luggage up to the 4th floor is not a problem. Parking however was very limited and shared with Cascade lodge and there was some construction work going on. Our room was clean, a bit smaller since we had only 1 double... More

**Note, there is currently construction in the Canyon Village area as they build a new Canyon Lodge. They were nearly done when we visited (June 2015) and expect to have their first guests by July 17. I would expect to have a little more construction on other buildings after this....but hopefully the main construction should be over. Based on other... More
