Wife and I stayed here in September 2014 for 3 nights. We booked early and asked for a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the woods. Plenty of drawers and closet space, the beds were comfortable and the view was great. I looked out and a buffalo was grazing right below our window! There are no TVs... More

Very dusty and rather limited parking when we were there in June 2015, but it should all be clear for 2016 season. We loved the room - so bright and fresh and great night's sleep both nights. It should be a nice walk to the Canyon Lodge on an evening when the dust and dirt has gone. There is an... More

We stayed for 4 nights in yellowstone in July. I booked the lodge when they first came out last year. At the time dunraven lodge was number 1 on trip advisor. I specifically asked for dunraven (not cascade) and we did get this. We stayed here for 2 nights due to its central location as we planned to do the... More

High price and construction put a damper on this one. $250 a night is outrageous for this location. Every room was booked so planning well in advance is necessary. Beds are comfortable. Clean rooms. Coffee and tea selection is good. Way finding signage was minimal from check-in location which is about a quarter of a mile from room. Canyon Village... More

Our stay was pleasant at the Dunraven Lodge for 3 nights in July. They do have elevators, so carrying luggage up to the 4th floor is not a problem. Parking however was very limited and shared with Cascade lodge and there was some construction work going on. Our room was clean, a bit smaller since we had only 1 double... More

**Note, there is currently construction in the Canyon Village area as they build a new Canyon Lodge. They were nearly done when we visited (June 2015) and expect to have their first guests by July 17. I would expect to have a little more construction on other buildings after this....but hopefully the main construction should be over. Based on other... More

Major construction going on, and it looks like the new hotel will be very nice. We stayed one night, and it was comfortable but dated and no frills. Budget motel for $200 a night. Food at the soda fountain was ok, but the dining room felt like a step back in time with very dated appearance, slow service and mediocre... More

We stayed 2 nights at Dunraven Lodge in early June 2015. Our 2 queen-bedded room was fine & had plenty of space, however we quickly discovered a problem with toilet. We reported this straightaway &, although it was fixed temporarily several hours later (after a 2nd phone call to the front desk), a permanent repair was promised for the next... More

We enjoyed our stay in the Dunraven Lodge and the general Canyon Village area. Three new lodges are under construction here and they looked really attractive from a distance. Our room was adequate and the staff was helpful and kind. If we return to this area we would try to stay in one of the newer lodges.

Dunraven is a new facility at the back of the Canyon complex. There is construction going on now (June 2015) so it is dusty and loud during the day. The best aspect of the Lodge rooms are that they are new, and the service staff is genuinely helpful in attempting to make sure that they do everything in their control... More
