This place offers decent cabins with basic amenities ( minus a few I just wanted eg : microwave, coffee maker, a refrigerator would be luxury here!). If I could get those, I would straight away give it 5 stars. So come prepared with your own stuff, packed food or utensils, though you can get ice here. Another thing, cooking is... More

We stayed at the old faithful for three nights as part of a week tour through Yellowstone National Park last summer. We had a small room in the west wing which we were very disappointed with. (On previous trips we had one in the west wing which was a lot larger and better). The room was small, the bathroom was... More

The Old Faithful has been on my list for a while now, and it did not disappoint. After seeing so many hotels being inspired by it, I was curious to see how it compares. I found the lobby to be smaller than I expected, but imposing non the less. The parking is conveniently located, and contrary to my fears, was... More

Old Faithful Inn is a perfect place for my family and myself for a starting point to tour Yellow Stone Park. Very rustic and homey and the sun filtered through the lobby early in the morning where people would meet and talk in a friendly atmosphere. Hotel staff were all pleasant and helpful. There was a good hot refreshing shower... More

We enjoyed our stay at Old Faithful Inn. We had a nice room looking out toward Old Faithful, so we were able to watch it from our window early in the morning. Even though it was June, we had snow and cold weather, so it was nice to be warm inside in the morning for viewing. We watched Old Faithful... More

Wow is all I can say! This structure is amazing. Loved the lobby. Our room was rustic and clean. Did not mind at all that there was no tv. We had a quiet room at the end of the hall. Had nice old wood windows to open and allow for fresh air in the room. Would definitely stay here again.

First the rooms are very nice with great bathrooms. The beds and pillows are nasty but look nice. We booked the geyser side 2 queen rooms. Due to spruce trees, there are no true geyser views. The beds are actually doubles. The location is great since you can step out and run into old faithful. The area is the most... More

We had a room with private bath. It was a little rustic but ok. There's no TV and cell phone works even though it's advertised that there is no cell phone reception. While we were there in mid June, the temperature dropped to high 30's at nite and 40 during day. One day, it snowed in the evening and rained... More

This was a cool place to have dinner while staying in the park. We had to make reservation but it was not a problem at the last minute. The staff was new so they were a little unorganized but I am sure by now they got it under control. The buffet ...not to sure about that one. just get a... More

We had room 3031 , which was great. It was not part of the original building but was joined by a 'log corridor' and had its own en-suite (stay in the original building and I was told you wouldn't have one). The room was fine for one night, quite large, clean but with a view over some trucks but OK... More
