I stayed here with my wife and 5 kids for 7 nights. It was a great place to explore and be centrally located to explore Yellowstone and the Tetons. We stayed here last year, this year. and already have our reservations for next year. We love staying here!

Second stay and was perfect. Large rooms and bath, comfortable beds. Do not pay extra for geyser side. Trees block most of view and you can't see it from your window anyway-save the money. Viewing is easily done at the geyser or from the large deck of the hotel. Dining was wonderful and the staff very friendly. Location in the... More

The location of the hotel is superb. The reception area is very interesting historically. They have a deck on the first floor with a wonderful seating area to watch the eruption of Old Faithful Geyser while one is having a beer. The restaurant food is recommendable, but do remember to book in advance and specify if you plan to eat... More

We returned to the Old Faithful Inn on our trip to Yellowstone as it's a great central location for the geyser area, and just a short stroll from Old Faithful. Our room in the West Wing was pretty much the same as last time, clean, comfortable with a reasonably new remodel. Better this time as we had no steps and... More

We stayed one night at the old faithful inn. That was all I could reserve 6 months ago. I think I paid extra to be"geyser side" , altough to be honest the trees blocked any potential full-on view of the geyser. It was nice to be right there tho. . We saw old faithful erupt 3 times, it was easy... More

I sincerely wanted to love this hotel, but it wasn't to be. The exterior of the main building and the lobby simply cannot be appreciated until seen. The history and craftsmanship of the interior is stunning. It is easy to lose time walking around and absorbing all of the history. There is a second floor deck off of main building... More

I basically wanted to post pictures of one of the Old House Rooms that has a private bath for reference for future travelers. There are not many of the these rooms and I booked it as soon as reservations were accepted for the time of our travel which was a year in advance. I found the room to be quite... More

Stayed here for a night last week. This hotel is literally right there in front of old faithful geyser... so much so that there's a seating arrangement on the terrace to see the geyser go off... This hotel is huge but the service is still pretty good. Nice rustic look and feel about the whole property... All the amazing geysers... More

The Old Faithful Inn has several different wings from different eras and the rooms in the different wings reflect when they were built. I was in one of the middle aged wings that looks like it was built in the 1940s. The room was decent but not luxurious. Bathroom was bit small but serviceable. The public areas of the hotel... More

We just got back from a Yellowstone vacation and stayed one night at the Old Faithful Inn. The Inn itself is very historical and worth a visit just to see the architecture and to see Old Faithful. First of all, the parking lot is a nightmare to try to find a spot to park. There is no reserved area for hotel... More
