First visited the Inn in 1960 and it is still fine, fine, fine. Although the rooms are very simple - no telephone, no TV and no A/C, the bathrooms are very nice and the bed was comfortable. The Inn is still amazing with it soaring ceiling, huge trees supporting each floor and amazing fireplace. Everyone who enters always looks up... More

This is a must see, along with the geyser. There are a variety of places to stay in the area. We picked the Inn because it is so classic. Be aware that all rooms are not created equal and that the rooms in the oldest section are small and have interesting plumbing arrangements. In the "newer" section rooms are more... More

We had booked way ahead and were really looking forward to our stay in this beautiful Yellowstone log palace. It is a massively impressive building, sadly, however, it is let down by its management particularly in the restaurant. The rooms are OK in a fairly basic way. You go there for the Park which is a bucket list, must see... More

This hotel is a must stay for a first time visitor to Yellowstone, it is convenient to many of the great scenic wonders of the park. The building itself is spectacular, the largest log structure in the world. Of course, as in most national park lodging facilities, there is no TV, WIFI or cell service. To me that makes a... More

Sad to say we were very disappointed. Not a good value considering rate of of room. Staff not at all friendly or accommodating at check-in or elsewhere. (Supply & demand I guess.) Repaving or construction was taking place in the front parking area so made parking in back lot very busy with few available spots & a long way to... More

The ride in from the East entrance to the Old Faithful Inn is a very long 65 miles. Scenery is beautiful on the way. Took almost 2 hours to do that 65 miles. Arriving at the Old Faithful Inn was a shocker. Construction at the main entrance. Had to park a good distance away and carry luggage to the lodge.... More

We stayed four nights at the Old Faithful Inn. It is indeed worth a visit to see the structure and maybe have a drink on the rooftop to see Old Faithful. I found it to be very noisy for sleeping with very creaky boards. It also was a bit too warm for sleeping (no A/C) and this was in early... More

Staying at the Old Faithful Inn was a fantastic addition to seeing the geyser area of the park. The inn itself is just such a pleasure to be in, given it's history and the beauty of it's wooden interior. We fortunately stayed in the older section of the inn, which is less expensive and meant we had to share a... More

We had an amazing time at the Old Faithful Inn. We had a suite and a great view of the Old Faithful Geyser. We had to get a suite because there were no regular rooms left, so it was expensive, but we still enjoyed the room amenities and the extra space. We enjoyed being close to so much of the... More

The lobby of this historic old inn is not to be missed. Four stories high and really unique. But we stayed in a small room which we did not like at all. Cramped and crowded, providing no place to relax. This has been our experience each time we have stayed here. The geysers are well worth visiting, but if you... More
