We stayed at a large tent-only site for six nights. Be prepared for colder nights even in june/july. The temperatures dropped to30Deg F for a couple of nights in the first week of July. You get two free showers per night per campsite and it is enforced. Also, dont forget to take your dishwashing gloves. There is no hot water... More

If tenting, and I want a tent only loop, request this on your reservation. My "tent only" site was in a loop with hard sided units and generators running during the day. Take the bear warning seriously and keep your site clean and you will be fine. Grant and Canyon both have shower buildings.

Great place to camp! Grocery store, restaurant, and gas station near the campgrounds. We recieved 2 shower coupons with stay. This may be the only. campsite with shower and laundry. Madison campgrounds, near northeast entrance, had none.

We tent camped on E Loop for 5 nights end of June-July. We were on the opposite side of the road from most sites, and it felt isolated, but was only a short walk to bathrooms & bear box was nearby. It was a little bit steep though. We saw 2 deer and 1 grizzly go by within 50 yds... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in the L loop. This is furthest from the "village" and feels nice and remote. 2 free showers per night. Walk to the village which has some nice shops, a visitor center, and 3 restaurants. We loved our stay.

My husband & I camped 2 nights in early June at the Canyon Village Campground. We loved this location as it was pretty centralized. The campgrounds were of a decent size, and included a fire ring and picnic table. Be aware that all campsites may not be level, however we managed to find a spot for our tent. The neighboring... I think that could be better. We staied in june, The campground was full, there was not much space for each tent. Our tent was smoked by fire pit of our neighboroo. The shower was very far of us and so we musted went by car (so not much ecologist). If you love The mountains and stay in campground i... More

Nice size for our RV. No water or electric hookups but none needed. Beautiful wooded area allowing privacy. Friendly staff at shower/laundry house. Loved seeing all of the people here from every part of the world.

It was a typical basic and adequate national parking lodging. Room was nice and clean. Bathroom light bulb was out though. About 5 min walk to campground central complex. That's where cafeteria, convenient store and a bar were available, and where wifi was available (not from room). There were ground service vehicles patrolling the grounds at night and offering a... We camped in tent there for 5 nights, we really like it a lot! It is in a incredible central location in the park. From the campground, it is a short walk distance to the Canyon Village, there you have it all the convenient store, restaurants, post office and shower places! It is very close to the Grand Canyon of... More
