Since we made reservations within the park late, we were willing to take what we could get. Grant Village was available for two consecutive nights, so we snatched it up! The property was clean, and safe. It was a VERY short walk to both restaurants and to the amphitheater where the ranger talks were held. The pathways were lighted as... More

Grant Village had a very nice location right on Lake Yellowstone. The front desk is in a stand alone building that was a short drive from the actual lodge buildings. The staff were nice enough and knowledgeable about the park.. The room we stayed in was in desperate need of an update, but was clean. The beds are not bad,... More

Stayed here for three days, the rooms are in blocks remote from reception. We found them roomy and clean, but got very noisy around 5-30am as people started out for days out, quite sure they dont slam doors so loudly at home. No tv and wifi was quite pricey so did not bother. Our main complaint was mice running around... More

Grant Village was convenient for a place to stay in yellowstone . It was clean and provided us with adequate amenities however you must keep in mind you are paying for the location and convenience of staying in the park not the room. We had a frontier cabin and it definitely felt like we had gone back in time (dated).

First trip to Yellowstone. Husband made reservations. I was scared after reading reviews. This lodge is basic. 2 full size beds. Bathroom with small shower and basic amenities (the hand soap was quite nice), hair dryer, and a fan. No TV, no AC. Window open and fan on, slept very cool and very well. Pleasantly surprised by in room Keurig.... More

Two words: Air conditioning Or, shall I say three words: No Air Conditioning For a place to stay in Yellowstone, it represents a decent central location. However, in the summer, you really need air conditioning to provide for a decent night's sleep. This place did not have it. In the day in age of modern amenities (i.e. A/C) and free... More

If you want to stay inside Yellowstone (and lodging at Old Faithful is unavailable), Grant Village is a good option. The rooms are comfortable, although a bit dated. The staff was friendly and helpful, allowing us to check in a couple of hours early, But the price was outrageous. If your main concern is to stay in the park and... More

In the park convenient last resort but skip it if you have a better option. The only real redeeming qualities were convenience and lake view. The facility could be nice but smelled moldy and was very dated.

Great location near West Thumb. Rooms are outdated but sign said they were renovating. The dining room always has good food. The ranger programs are always great. They have a small gift shop. Good books in ranger store.

Check in service proved efficient and fast. Rooms are barely acceptable, no AC - on a 90 + degree day would be uncomfortable daytime, whereas by night significantly cooler the fans were satisfactory when the windows were opened. For guests on the parking lot side there was discomfort with the early risers and departures slamming car doors etc. Outwardly the... More
