We stayed 2 nights before moving to Lake Lodge Pioneer Lodge. This accommodation was perfect as we drove from Jackson, so this lodge was a good choice. Rooms are old styled, adequate, clean and bathrooms are OK. We dined at The Lakeside Restaurant with basic reasonable food and good views. The plus is that you are in the Park with... More

We stayed for one night on our trip to yellowstone in August. The price is high, 175 dollar for this room is high, all the money is for location. We were driving to yellowstone from jackson and hence this was perfect place for us to stay. Rooms are clean, beds are ok, bathrooms are good. No telephone signals no free wifi.

The rooms at Grant Village are in desperate need of remodelling and are very basic. They need TVs - late at night in the National Park there is nothing to do, after spending a day hiking - and there should be free wifi too. The beds are pretty uncomfortable and the bathrooms are tiny. However, it is worth the basic... More

We could not fault the cleansiness and decor of the room, or of the 'house block' it was in. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. We liked the lakeside restaurant that was just a few minutes walk away and it felt a lot less commercialised than Canyon lodge had. The room is on the small side and you... More

We visited back in September 2012, but I didn't get around to reviewing the property. First...Yellowstone is amazing, no matter where you go, you will be blown away by the scenery and the wildlife. Getting from point A to point B within the park takes hours. The lodge itself would get 2 stars, however due to the location it gets... More

Lodging in popular but remote places like Yellowstone are always expensive, so is this place. We stayed for one night in the Grand Village Lodge and liked it. It's a basic place with not much else than a room and bed, both were very good. The buildings are situated in a forest area close to the lake. (one minute walk)... More

It's hard to decide how to rate accommodations in US national parks. Many of them are 1940s crummy by design. Grant Village is newer than that, but it's pretty basic. It is clean and the bed is comfortable. However unless you stay at a really high end lodge, and I'm not sure there are any in Yellowstone, you can't go... More

Stayed here 2 nights on a escorted tour. Luckely enough our rooms where the closest to the restaurant and store. I was just by myself and had a room with 2 double beds in. For me, space enough. But I can imagine that if you're here with 4 grown ups that it feels very small. At night very cold in... More

Stayed in "A" Lodge and was surprised how comfortable it was for the price. I had a king-sized bed, and the mattress was exceptionally comfortable. Even though the room showed its age, it was clean and had all the amenities of the higher priced lodges in the park. Two restaurants, one casual and the other finer dining, were within an... More

Rooms were clean. However, these are the tiniest rooms I have ever seen. No closet/ microwave/ fridge in the room either. Moreover, absolutely no view of the lake from your room ! I do not see any reason to spend 200$/ night for this room just because I am staying inside the park ! Also, a note of caution: You... More
