We did not have high expectations since we knew that the demand for rooms is higher than the supply. The rooms in the park sell out quickly... The room was overpriced and not very charming but it did not matter that much since we got the chans to see the wonderful park =) It is worth staying in the park... More

There isn't much about Grant Village Lodge that is inviting. I knew that when I booked but I thought that the advantage must be the in-park location. After all, it commands a very high price in high season. Frankly, it wasn't all that great. This area of the park doesn't have any of the really big attractions (game, hiking, geothermic... More

We stayed at 3 different hotels in the park during our last visit. This was on the bottom of the list. The room was basic and they ran out of coffee so only tea. For the price was charged, it could be a little nicer. Do a walk around the whole property and see the lake. There were many mosquitos.... More

We stayed for one night in a room with 2 double beds for me, my husband, and our 2 teenagers. It was a pretty small motel-style room so we were very "cozy" but the beds were fine, the place was clean, and there was wifi and cell service so the kids were happy. We had a great dinner at the... More

Looks like a school dorm, felt like a school dorm, as uncomfortable as a school dorm. No air con, we got bitten by mosquito's in the room. Basic shower/wc. There was however a coffee machine in the room. YOU MUST book the restaurant, we didn't on the first night and some sat down at 7.00pm, others at 9.30pm. Most facilities... More

As you may read in other reviews - it's not a bad place to stay because of the location. You have the opportunity to stay right within the park. However, the rate that they charge (over $200 per night) in the summer - is absurd. This is the bare basics. Reminded me of a dorm room. There is no AC... More

We were pleasantly surprised. This Yellowstone lodging is not an upscale accommodation or a rustic, unique place (as compared to old Faithful or Mammoth Hot Springs), but it is very nice and meets the needs for a national park stay. The outside of the lodging buildings may look a little like modern college dormitory buildings, but ours was all newly... More

Since we made reservations within the park late, we were willing to take what we could get. Grant Village was available for two consecutive nights, so we snatched it up! The property was clean, and safe. It was a VERY short walk to both restaurants and to the amphitheater where the ranger talks were held. The pathways were lighted as... More

Grant Village had a very nice location right on Lake Yellowstone. The front desk is in a stand alone building that was a short drive from the actual lodge buildings. The staff were nice enough and knowledgeable about the park.. The room we stayed in was in desperate need of an update, but was clean. The beds are not bad,... More

Stayed here for three days, the rooms are in blocks remote from reception. We found them roomy and clean, but got very noisy around 5-30am as people started out for days out, quite sure they dont slam doors so loudly at home. No tv and wifi was quite pricey so did not bother. Our main complaint was mice running around... More
