Our room was cozy. Yes, a little small (most rooms are in Yellowstone). The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean. For people that complain about having a tv all the lodges in Yellowstone do not have televisions and that is told to you up front.

The staff at the front desk were helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were far from check in and after a day of hiking I had little energy to walk everywhere. Clearly the cost to stay at this lodge is a reflection of its location - a remote Park, in fairly inaccessible mountains. So, yes, the price is outlandish, for what you get. We stayed here for 2 nights on our US coach tour - the rooms were large and clean with comfortable beds. There is no TV or Internet access in the rooms, but surprisingly we didn't miss it. The main reason to stay here is for the location; you are in the National Park, so closer to the attractions you want to see. Stayed here 2 nights as part of Cosmos tour. PROs: Clean and comfortable room with 2 queen size beds, coffeemaker and environmentally friendly toiletries. We stayed right at the end of the season, so rates were probably at their lowest. Rooms are small, and pretty basic, but clean and comfortable. This lodge is in dire need of updating. The exterior and parts of the interior are very shabby. The walls are paper-thin so you hear EVERYTHING the people in the next rooms say or do.
