Grant Campground is located on the west end of yellowstone lake near the center of yellowstone. The campground is very woodsy and has trails you can walk around the lake. We stayed in site K 401 and 403 with large tents and it was very spacious and secluded. HOWEVER many of the campsites are literally side by side with little... More

We stayed 5 nights in the Grant Campground. We had to wait about 30 minutes inline at the checkin window due to other people having lots of questions and issues with their reservation. The staff was being so thoroughly helpful it was a little annoying to us since we had a clean reservation and knew what was going on. We... More

Grant Village is the southern most in Yellowstone, you can go north to Old Faithful or Lakeview. When we come back I might pick something around Lakeview or maybe Madison. Grant campground is very big, over 400 sites. Our site was a pull off type with fire pit and picnic table, mostly shaded. We had mule deer in the campground... More

The campground is as expected in a National Park that receives so many visitors on a daily basis. We were in a small tent only loop. Sites were close together and thankfully we had great neighbors. We shared a bearbox between several sites. The trees were thick and elk came close. We liked the location transitioning from the Grand Tetons... More

We recently stayed here for a visit to Yellowstone. It was a good location to explore the lower loop. Campground was very large, 400 plus sites and while you are not right on top of your neighbors, their is not a lot of privacy either. However, this is typical of staying in a National Park. Restrooms were always clean and... More

We were very happy with our site, which was somewhat isolated from other sites. Be sure to request a site on a loop without RVs, and away from the bathrooms. A quick swim in Yellowstone Lake proves very refreshing. Drive to the boat landing area which has a nice beach. And be sure to leave the campground before sunrise at... More

Really enjoyed our time at Grant. Stayed at two other campgrounds after this and wish we had of booked our entire trip here. Have to drive to the showers/laundry but honestly wasn't an issue at all. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Campsites a little close but lots of trees between sites so it doesn't feel that way. Bathrooms are... More

We stayed 3 nights. We loved it. Tips: hot showers are a short drive from sites. We were in the far back. You get 2/day/site. They give you a punch card upon arrival. Boil water for dish washing. They only provide a large sink with cold water. Flush toilets are throughout campground, but I suggest bring your own paper. Theirs... More

We have a tent and reserved a site in advance, but got a spot in between RVs with working generators, AC and other noises. Second, showers were extremely dirty, small. I have a kid and we barely could fit in that shower. Saying that they have family showers in description, but in fact they kept them closed and refused to... More

This campground is good for families who need the facilities of showers and laundry services, however as a couple in our thirties we thought the campground was way too big and the campsite lacked privacy. Quiet hours were not obayed. We ended up checking out one night early and went to the much quieter Indian Creek campsite instead, which is... More
