We arrived and were assigned a campground with a U pull through. Only problem there were trees inside the U and tight corners. We couldn't get our 5th wheel camper in there, so we went back to office and told them our woes. They found us a list of 5 other sites that we could get in, and we found... More

This campground is huge. It does not have electricity or water. You can get water at the restrooms or the dump facility. The roads are narrow and access to the sites can be a challenge for any vehicle of size. My big issue was the showers. They are literally a mile away. There is no way you are going to... More

We were there for only one night and didn't spend much time at the campsite because we were busy exploring. Our site was sloping but didn't have any drainage problems even though it was raining. Two showers are included with the fee. Shower facility was clean. The shower stalls are small. With only the shower curtain separating the shower and... More

By second week of September when we arrived at Yellowstone through South Entrance from Grand Teton (Moose entrance), we found many campgrounds were closed for the season, including Bridge Bay and Canyon where we originally wanted to stay at. Even Grand Village posted a sign FULL but we tried anyway and was told yes they had some tent sites available.... More

Beautiful campground with good toilets bathrooms grill picnic table and showers (1 per day included). I don't understand why the tent area is pebbly though, our sleeping pads solved that issue for us. The marina is there, there are various restaurants and store. The ice cream at the store is great!!!! Try it. Staff was friendly, I needed a phone... More

We stayed 4 days at Grant Village. We were lucky and didn't have to wait to check in, however I did see lines when driving in and out of the park. I had reserved our late August site in January. I asked for a quiet secluded site near the lack, that is what we got. The site was a small... More

The campground itself is average...insufficient trees, too small sites, great location. What makes it special is the shower complex - after 8 weeks in national parks, staying in 16 campgrounds - we hereby proclaim Grant Village's shower complex the best shower of all. Two showers per day are included in a campsite...more are $4/each...but its worth it. Unlimited water, clean... More

Grant Campground is located on the west end of yellowstone lake near the center of yellowstone. The campground is very woodsy and has trails you can walk around the lake. We stayed in site K 401 and 403 with large tents and it was very spacious and secluded. HOWEVER many of the campsites are literally side by side with little... More

We stayed 5 nights in the Grant Campground. We had to wait about 30 minutes inline at the checkin window due to other people having lots of questions and issues with their reservation. The staff was being so thoroughly helpful it was a little annoying to us since we had a clean reservation and knew what was going on. We... More

Grant Village is the southern most in Yellowstone, you can go north to Old Faithful or Lakeview. When we come back I might pick something around Lakeview or maybe Madison. Grant campground is very big, over 400 sites. Our site was a pull off type with fire pit and picnic table, mostly shaded. We had mule deer in the campground... More
