For a huge campsite the spots are very good (in the tent only loops). Fire rings are provided and washing can be done in the small sink provided at the toilet block (other campgrounds require you to do this at your site). Showers are fantastic and the two shops are well stocked. The only downside here is the lakeside restaurant,... More

This campsite certainly aims at visitors with RV's. We had a mediocre campsite surrounded by noisy RV's and dog poo all over the spot. Little privacy. I like the number of showers they had which we very clean. I would not go tent camping here again.

We had a very nice stay at the campground. It was clean, check in was smooth and the showers were included in the cost of your campsite. We were steps from the lake and excellent little restaurants. Our only complaint was that it was on the far south side of the park, so it took a little longer to get... More

Our site was quite large in a wooded area. Plenty of room for the kids to run around. I was worried that my van and tent trailer may have been over the 30' limit that they stress so much when booking the site, but when I got there, I could have fit 40' of vehicles in it. The sites were... More

You stay at a campground in this park to be closer to the attractions. Nothing else really matters. Yes, spaces are tight, lots of people, no showers, etc. etc. But most people don't stay there to hang out... they stay there so they don't have a 2 hour drive into and out of the park each day! Therefore, these are... More

We stayed at this campground with a motorcycle and small tent. It is not possible to reserve a particular spot. You will be assigned a spot based on vehicle size and tent size etc. Turns out that some spots are quite large and provide some level of privacy. Others, however are close together and do not provide privacy. We were... More

Nice campground. Sites were big & had bathrooms near. EVERY SINGLE campsite in all of Yellowstone was booked so make sure you book ahead during peak season. I reserved 4 months in advance & Grant Village was all that was left. Had to wait in line 20 minutes just to check in. It had a general store, gas station, laundry... More

Dates: July 19 - 25th From Billings, MT to Grant Village at a leisurely pace was 5 hours. This was through the NorthEast entrance via the Beartooth Highway(highly recommended). We checked in right at 12pm and it took ~20 minutes. I will not go into specifics of what is allowed and not allowed, as you can find that on the... More

We stayed in the B loop of the GV Campground. Of course it was the middle of summer so it was very busy. Had a long line waiting to check in when we arrived around 6 pm, which was not great after a long day of travel. Turns out it took so long because the receptionists are very thorough, and... More

We stay in loop "J", and it was nice and quiet, no loud generator according to other comments. Also the washrooms were clean and bright. Every morning I saw 2 cleaners coming in to clean the toilets, etc. Only thing that bugged me was the shower and laundromat was 2 minute drive outside of the campground. But having said that,...
