We stayed in the B loop of the GV Campground. Of course it was the middle of summer so it was very busy. Had a long line waiting to check in when we arrived around 6 pm, which was not great after a long day of travel. Turns out it took so long because the receptionists are very thorough, and... More

We stay in loop "J", and it was nice and quiet, no loud generator according to other comments. Also the washrooms were clean and bright. Every morning I saw 2 cleaners coming in to clean the toilets, etc. Only thing that bugged me was the shower and laundromat was 2 minute drive outside of the campground. But having said that,... I really dislike camping in open grassy fields so I didn't like the pictures I saw of Bay Bridge campground. Grant Village (h loop) had plenty of trees for shade. The campsites are so close together that even the trees don't do much for privacy, but at least I didn't feel like I was camped out with a hundred other... More

We stayed in K-loop and loved our spot. We had plenty of space between us and the other campsites. We had a little downhill with a stream at our back and we were pretty close to the bathrooms. There were enough trees to offer some shade but not too many that they were in the way. We checked in just... More

This was our first family trip to Yellowstone and this campground and our actual site exceeded our expectations. We were in loop j site 343. Campground was full yet didn't feel crowded. Campsites were close but not crazy close and by surprise not very loud. Everyone we met was super friendly and social. We didn't eat at any of the... More

Pros: - Maximum Value! (That magical place where quality outweighs cost). We camped for 4 nights on a "Grant small tent and/or RV Site 20ft Total or L" @ the senior rate of $15.00 after tax, which is half the regular rate after tax. We had a 12x12 tent, 8x8 tent, motor cycle w. pull trailer with PLENTY of room.... More

I was in the J loop bordering the lake. I loved walking directly behind my tent to enjoy sunrise and sunset on the lake. It's a must. The campground is a large campground in a popular national park so you will need to expect people and some noise although I had no issues. I was a single female camper during... More

this campground was fine, but really didn't have anything to make me want to stay there again. the size of the site was fine for us - we had two 2-person tents, and there was plenty of space. all the sites seemed to be within fairly close access to toilets which was good. the showers are in a separate area... Our campsite was very clean. Surrounded by trees and near the lake. Quiet at night. Everything about our stay....from check in to departure was nice. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. The employees were pleasant. We can't wait to return. BTW, we are "tent campers"

Grant Village Campground is a very large campground with around 400 sites across 11 or so loops. My wife and I tented 3 nights in J Loop which was a nice location although there were some issues with noise due to it's proximity to the Grand Loop Road and the elk in rut bugling through the night within a 100...
