I had originally tried to book the Old Faithful Inn but it was sold out, so I booked the Snow Lodge instead. We stayed here a few nights while on a planned tour. The location is great; many great sites to see within walking distance including shops. The food at the hotel is very good. I recommend the plate of french fries with their special dipping sauce. Can stroll out to see old faithful when you'd like. more

Lodge rooms are nicely decorated and clean with basic amenities. We spent 3 nights here in Oct. I don't know why in the 21st century hotel providers can't offer rooms with queen beds. Being at Old Faithful and hiking the trails and boardwalks is beyond spectacular. Lodging in the cabins was average or less BUT the only sounds at night were the coyotes howling which made up for the over priced cabin, marginal beds and bad food. more
