My wife and some friends recently returned from a land tour/cruise to Alaska. We stayed at four Princess properties and they most definitely varied in quality. By far, the best lodge, was the Copper River Princess. The setting is outstanding but beyond that, the property itself- the public areas and the rooms were well maintained. We also thought the quality... More

We visited as part of a cruise tour with Princess. We really enjoyed the lodge. It is very luxurious for the area (but a little more basic that a luxurious hotel in the lower 48). The views from the lodge are beautiful as you would expect for its location. We were there for 2 nights and enjoyed the restaurants, as... More

We started a land/sea trip and cruise in the Princess Copper Center Lodge and found it to be very comfortable and welcoming. The staff met the coach with a believable a greeting. They did special things for veterans, with flag lowering ceremonies and recognition. Coupled with a sign it book for veterans, allowing continued recognition. The views were exquisite, the... More

This was our last lodge on the land tour. We enjoyed the views between raindrops. Finally saw the mountain top right before we left. Because the season would be over in two days, we felt the staff was not as enthusiastic as they might have been. No place to eat other than at the lodge, making meal options costly. We... More

Copper River Princess Lodge offers very nice accommodations and the location can't be beat. The lodge is located just outside of Wrangell-St Elias National Park. The rooms are not luxurious. They are set up like basic hotel rooms, but are clean and comfortable and offer great views. The lodge is surrounded by natural beauty and offers many hiking trails. There... More

This was our first lodge on our Princess landtour "Off the Beaten Path". I loved this lodge, very secluded quiet, clean and everyone was very friendly. The room was ok, had all the necessary things, but not a refrigerator. We had no view from our room, but didn't spend too much time in there anyway. Went to the great room... More

We stayed 1 night at the Copper River Princess and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful location overlooking the Wrangle-St. Elias Mountains. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable but basic. It was definitely the best choice in the area. After traveling many miles in a vehicle, we appreciated the beautiful walking trails... More

Stayed here a part of Princess Cruise tour. Small but adequate room with comfortable bed-clean. Views from Lodge are beautiful, you never forget you are remote. Nature walk paths are well marked and close by. Staff were always helpful. Ate in bar as restuarant was always busy. Food was right off restuarant menu. Great bartenders and dined with several "locals"... More

According to staff, only 3,000 people live within a 25 mile radius. Rooms are exactly like those at Denali Princess; small. Beautiful setting close to Wrangle Eilas National Park, and very little else. We took the drive to McCarthy and the road is not nearly as bad as they suggested. The restaurants (2) are good and the breakfast buffet is... More

very nice! If you go in June, you will see the 24 sun solstice. It is priceless. The resort is very well equipped and it has free internet from the lobby. It is a good place to be in contact with nature.
