We stopped in here on our way to Kennicott for a night and it was well worth the stopover. The bed was so comfortable we've been using it to compare with the other places we've stayed over the last month. Very friendly hosts and now wish we'd stayed longer. Thanks Terry and Katherine.

We were only able to stay with Kathryn and Terry for just one night but it didn't take an hour to wish we had a little more time for rest and relaxation with their great hospitality. The accommodations were very cozy, the breakfasts were delicious, and oh the gorgeous views of the many mountains of Wrangell St. Elias. They also... More

We stayed three nights in June of 2014. We were the only two guests and the hosts treated us like we were friends rather than renters. The Willow Mountain Lodge is more like a private home with an extra bedroom. Our room was clean, had a private bath and had an excellent mattress. Breakfast was good and allowed us to... More

We stayed wit Kathryn and Terry at Willow Mountain Lodge for two nights, separated by a night at Kennecott. They were very welcoming and make you feel part of the family. We took the guest bedroom with a shared bath and the upstairs loft area for our two teenage daughters. What I hadn't realised before going was that this loft... More

We initially made reservations at the Caribou Inn, but read the reviews and backed off quickly. I checked out other reviews and found this place. Called to make reservations and caught them in Arkansas. Arkansas? That's where Clinton is from - one big strike against them. That was the last one. This place is a gem. First thing - they... More

We stayed for 2 nights in this B&B, built by Kathryn and Terry. It was the most special B&B we stayed at during our trip in Alaska and the Yukon. Not only because of the magnificent view on the mountains, but also because of the way Kathryn and Terry designed and built their house with the loft for the guests.... More

We stayed at Willow Mountain Lodge for one night during our June, 2013 trip through Alaska - what an awesome stay. The house is gorgeous, the hosts divine and the breakfast was delicious. I wasn't sure what to expect and hadn't stayed at a B&B before - what a great experience.

My husband and I spent two nights at Willow Mountain Lodge in September, 2012. It was one of the best surprises of our two-week trip to Alaska. The inn is situated in a very remote location at the top of a hill overlooking the beautiful snow-capped mountains of Wrangall-St. Elias National Park and Willow Lake. The leaves were changing colors... More

We had a wonderful time staying at the Willow Mountain Lodge in September 2012. The house is beautiful, clean, welcoming......I would stay here again, and would encourage anyone visiting the area to take advantage of the warmth and comfort offered by Kathryn and Terry.

We stayed with Kathryn and Terry in June and although we are have been to Alaska several times, this was our first to this area. They made our stay a pleasure and very comfortable. The house is incredible! It is extremely clean, and our private king was exceptional. This home is a true labor of love. Their story is heartwarming and... More
