Loved this B & B. Carol, the landlady was so welcoming and even stayed up late when we didn't make as good time as we had hoped and arrived quite late in the evening. She had tea and home made cookies waiting for us and even put breakfast back by half an hour so we could have a little bit... More

We spent one night in Seneca Falls on our way to Toronto. Although we were not enamored with the town, our stay in the VanCleef was pleasant. Carol is a wonderful host, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast very good.

Just returned from a weekend stay at the VanCleef and can't find enough good things to say! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the hosts were just lovely. It felt like we were staying with family. Rooms are spotless, common living space is cozy and was a lovely place to enjoy a drink by the fire... More

Just spent three days at the VanCleef - perfect place to stay for the "It's a Wonderful Life" weekend. Convenient to the downtown, breakfasts were wonderful, and Carol was very good about giving directions to find all of the events. It was fun to chat with other Wonderful Life fans - rooms were very clean and comfortable. No television, which... More

We stayed at the B&B several times. The breakfasts are to die for!!! Rooms are very clean, and it is very close to the wineries. The Inn keepers are very nice, and the B&B is like staying at home.Carol gave us tips on where to go, and after a day of visiting the wineries, it was a pleasure to come... More

I stayed over night at VanCleef Homestead this week and it was just perfect. From the second I stepped through the door, innkeeper Carol made me feel right at home. From the engaging conversation to the claw foot tub and toasty warm and comfy room, I felt like I could settled in and completely unwind in the night I stayed... More

Our weekend trip to Seneca Falls, Romulus, and Waterloo was made memorable by Carol's warm reception as soon as we pulled in. The home was lovely, warm and inviting. The rooms were clean, well laid out and made it easy to relax. The sheets and pillows were divine. We appreciated having local books and reference materials handy to help us... More

This was our first time at a B&B with our young children (8 and 5). Most B&Bs do not welcome children so we were very happy to find one that would. We felt right at home at VanCleef Homestead. The four of us shared the Swaby Suite and were very comfortable. The beds are great! We really appreciated the iced... More

We arrived later than expected due to poor weather, but Carol had a plate of cookies waiting to greet us in the dining room. She is warm and outgoing, and knowledgeable about area restaurants and activities. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. She even had a pitcher of ice water in each room. The public living areas (living room, dining... More

We were not sure of our arrival time in town and when we drove in that evening and called around, Carol welcomed us. From the moment we walked in Carol took care of us and made us quite at home. We loved our downstairs suite; very warm, quiet, cozy. Claw foot tub was very relaxing. Carol checked with us to... More
