My wife and I stayed here while dropping our son off to College. We stayed in the pool room with private bath. Comfortable bed. Quiet place. There were a lot of people there that weekend but we had no noise issues. A number of reviews complained about pool pump sounds....not an issue unless you have hyper-hearing. Breakfast was great. We... More

Stayed here for two nights in the Morris room (shared bath). At first I was a bit nervous about the shared bath but really it was no big deal. Everyone was super friendly and it really was like staying in a house with friends. Tony and John are great. They were extremely helpful recommending places to eat and visit during... More

Lovely old house and grounds. No lake view. Tony and John were very good hosts and Tony's breakfasts were wonderful. Shared bath was not the problem that we feared. Would have preferred room with 2 comfortable chairs

I could write an essay noting all the superlatives, but bottom line: great and caring proprietors, great food (and a lot of it), comfortable-feeling rooms, and beautiful house. One extra: their bird feeders attract a variety of interesting birds. In others words, this is the type of place that you hope to find when you're booking a bed and breakfast.

We stayed in first floor poolside room. Very thankful that the pumps turned off at night. Jacuzzi in room. Very helpful hosts Tony and John. Wonderful home made food. Lemon and ginger biscotti. Chocolate chip cookies. Very friendly dogs greeted us. Quiet location well off main road.

We are fortunate to be located on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail and NY Scenic Byway State Route 89. Our quality mattresses and secluded location make for a quiet, restful sleeping. Tony's become a master at creating fluffy eggs and pancakes! We are happy that you stayed with us and enjoyed the pool on sunny, lazy afternoons. More

I stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast for two nights and wish I could have stayed longer. Tony and John made me feel as if I were in my own home. Their home was my home for the weekend. My room was comfortable and spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. I will definitely be going back!!... More

I've only stayed in a few bed and breakfasts in our lifetime and wasn't sure what to expect. The John Morris Manor bed and breakfast was perfect for my husband and myself. The rooms and bathroom were nicely sized and very clean. The grounds and gardens were beautiful and the nights are very quiet. Absolutely loved the view from the... More

Had a great time visiting the Finger Lakes for the first time- along with our King Charles spaniel. Tony- the cook- and John- the handyman (not sure these roled are never reversed) and their two dogs made excellent hosts. More breakfast than we could eat, excellently prepared- and with Tony's sense of humor included. Loved our room- the Yellow Room.... More

We only stayed one night but Tony and John made us feel right at home. Lovely home and setting . . . And the best coffee I have ever had! Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the the beautiful Finger Lakes.

We just stayed 4 nights - our first time at a B&B. This was a wonderful location to stay. The home has charm, is extremely clean and every bedroom has great character. Location makes it very easy to get around when visiting the wineries at Cayuga and Seneca Lakes. The owners are super people. We felt welcome from the start... More
