Our stay was wonderful at this hotel. The room was large and had everything we needed from a king size bed to a nice seating area to a small refrigerator. We were in a corner room on the second floor which overlooked Hot Springs. The person at the front desk was very helpful and even helped us carry our bags... More

A charming place in a restored old sandstone building. Rooms are quite nice with high ceilings. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The spa is great - it has a hot tub, sauna and two warm rooms. The massage therapist was quite good and the price was reasonable. We also really liked that they have a shared living/dining room area... More

Red Rock River Resort has taken a very old building and modernized the inside so as to meet your every need. We wre met by a very polite hotel clerk and given a tour of the saunas, hot sand and granite rooms, massage rooms, library, and eventually our room. Impressive. They even give you a key to the front door... More

This was a quick overnight stop and I was lucky to get a park out front. With no elevator, it was a challenge getting my bag up and down the stairs. I was given a corner room called Blue Iris, which wasn't blue and had a picture of irises. It was nicely decorated and looked more Asian-inspired than anything else.... More

Stayed here while visiting relatives. Had never been to Hot Springs and pleasantly surprised to find such a treasure in the Red Rock River Resort. Building circa 1890's but rooms have all been remodeled without loosing the charm. Will be back!

This is a very nice and enjoyable hotel in a fun and interesting town, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We were comfortable in our room and the common areas. There is a great coffee shop and a spa in the hotel. The location in the center of town is convenient but also quiet. I plan to stay... More

Great historic building with nicely appointed rooms. Comfortable bed and furnishings. Accomodating staff. We did not use spa services but they looked nice. We were able to walk to restaurants for dinner and breakfast, and also enjoyed strolling along the river across the street.

We stayed here for 3 nights and greatly enjoyed it. The historic sandstone building is beautiful, with lots of character and nicely updated. The rooms, though not fancy, are nicely decorated, comfortable and clean with good beds and pillows. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We did not use the spa, but it looks very inviting. There is a... More

Stayed here one evening during the Black Hills Motorcycle Rally. We had been riding all day so this place was like an oasis in the desert. A feeling of calm overtakes you as you enter. The helpful staff gives you the tour of the facilities and then shows you your room. Unlike most hotels you have 24 hour access to... More

On a recent road trip we veered a little more South than we needed to because this place looked so interesting. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are all clean and beautifully decorated, each one unique. There is plenty of room in common areas, including access to a full-sized refrigerator. And, there's complimentary coffee in a common area... More
