I stayed here for two nights in a tent site with electric. The campground is quiet and in a great location as a base for area attractions. A short scenic drive takes one to all of Mt. Rushmore/Mammoth activities. There is a mini-golf course, the laundry facilities were perfect, and they have pancakes and pizza as well. John and Cathy... More

We stayed at the Hot Springs KOA one night on our way to Mount Rushmore. The staff at this KOA is friendly, accommodating and welcoming. After my daughter left her sweatshirt there they held onto it and mailed it back to us when we returned from our vacation. This KOA had plenty to keep kids busy and we wished we... More

This KOA campground is hosted by John and Cathy, who are very welcoming and full of helpful travel/tourist info. They and their staff make you feel like family. We stayed at the park for 3 nights. The KOA breakfast was a value and delicious. The pizza we ordered from the office was delivered to our trailer and was good. There... More

On our way to Mount Rushmore decided to stay at KOA. Our first time in a KOA..didn't know we needed sheets but the owner,John, quickly took care of that.Thought about staying in our tents but chose the cabin-glad we did because a big hail storm came through. The brand new cabins there were cozy and exactly what was needed. A... More

We stayed for 3 nights in a cabin. The Adler's are awesome, as is Mike, who cooks great breakfasts. We found it exactly what we needed--quiet and convenient to all the things we wanted to do. The bathrooms were clean as was the rest of the property. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived July 8th pretty late evening. We had about an hour of sun to set up our ten. So we have a REALLY big 8 man tent. We quickly realized it was too big for the site. My wonderful husband went up to the office to inquire about cabins and thankfully they had one open. They upgraded us for... More

We stayed in the KOA Cabins- clean and tidy. Pool area was perfect after hiking around all day. Laundry facility clean and easy. Hosts were really helpful and I noticed they were always helpful with the other guests. Huge thunderstorm overnight, glad we stayed in the cabin! Beds were comfy and clean, we had sleepsheets we brought, and our own... More

We stayed Ina rent site at this campground over the 4th of July weekend. The site is quiet and a bit off the beaten path but given the fact that there is so much driving to do the monuments and parks, I thought the location was fine. The people are extremely friendly and helpful. There is a well kept pool... More

Stayed here after mount Rushmore/crazy horse/wind cave. The campground is about a half an hour from wind cave. The staff is very friendly. They have stones in the campsite where you put your tent so make sure to bring a sleeping pad! coyotes were howling ALL night which was a little unsettling but we didn't run into any problems. Thank... More
