This is your typical KOA. So you can expect things to be neat and clean. The pool was nice, but it sure didn't seemed heated, as claimed. The park was fairly full when we got there so I'm sure the choicest sites were taken. It took a great deal of leveling to get our RV level. I didn't see all... More

We stopped as this KOA in Hot Springs, SD for 2 nights. They were friendly and accommodating. There aren't any fire rings, but upon request they will provide you with one. Just remember to tend to the fire at all times. With the wooded property, some of the regulars are very concerned about having untended fires going. They even provided... More

We stayed at this KOA for 2 nights. There was burn ban, so we didn't get to enjoy the group campfire, but it didn't affect our trip. The staff were all very nice and super helpful! On of the guys even came by to check to see if we had gotten the cable to work because we had had problems... More

We had an awesome time. Nice pool and game room. Bathrooms were pretty good. Breakfast was great too. Friendly staff. We had an issue with a door on our cabin that wouldn't open correctly. I'm assuming this was fixed after we left. Also, mattresses in this campground were thinner than others in the cabins at other KOAs. They were uncomfortable... More

The staff was very friendly. Stayed for 3 nights in a tent spot. We ate breakfast there twice. First morning it was ok. The next morning the food was great. Pool was nice. I did not try the pizza but heard it was good. Very clean. We went to the campfire one night. Just one other family there. It was... More

We stayed here on our way to Custer State park, even though it was only for 1 night we really liked it. The RV spots are very spacious and the restrooms were clean. They also offer breakfast and there is nice little store. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

Central location and great staff. Very nice people and A A A discount. My son loved it there. There was a pool, laundry, mini golf. Staff was very helpful and let us move sites for comfort. Very clean showers and well maintained.

We stayed at this KOA in a deluxe cabin and 2 single cabins for 4 nights. The grounds are very nice. The facilities are clean and comfortable. Wifi could not be accessed in single cabins. At night, we had wasps in the single cabins with the heaters on. One of our party was stung, but luckily not allergic. We told... More

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you were unhappy with your stay which turned out to be 4 nights after you added an additional evening. Unfortunately, you were here during that time of year when wasps are out all over the Black Hills. The only way to deal with them is to kill them with a fly... More

Stayed first part of Sep in one of their Kabins. Had AC/Heat, but only 1 bed. Mattress was hard so if you have an air mattress use it as well. Showers were fine. Only real issue is Kabin was toward the back and had to drive to the front

I stayed here for two nights in a tent site with electric. The campground is quiet and in a great location as a base for area attractions. A short scenic drive takes one to all of Mt. Rushmore/Mammoth activities. There is a mini-golf course, the laundry facilities were perfect, and they have pancakes and pizza as well. John and Cathy... More
