Good spot to spend the night with a not so friendly staff. The room was ok and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok for what it was meant to be. Location to Rushmore and highways was good. The mammoth site is worth visiting.

We stayed at 6 hotels on our trip out West this summer. Although this wasn't the best place we stayed at, it was the best place for the money South of the VERY expensive Black Hills/Rapid City area. Room was clean and quiet, beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. One thing we found about the area was... More

$180 a night for an average stay experience. Nothing special about this stop and we couldn't get any food after 10pm in Hot Springs. The next day I drove to Estes Park, CO and stayed in an inn with a hot tub on my deck overlooking the Rocky Mountains and Falls River for $177

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hot Springs S.D. Best Western and our room was very spacious! They were booked up the night we arrived so were lucky to even get a room here. There had been one cancellation and it was a suite with a jacuzzi, king bed, and spacious sitting room area. Everything was clean and very... More

Breakfast area was poor. Food all over, looked like a hog trough. No food available, not even coffee. When we ask the girl working in the breakfast area, she gave us a paper with a list of local area restaurants that serve breakfast.. We got out of there immediately.

The room was very nice and the customer service was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic and the pool and hot tub was excellent. I really liked the fact that family swimming was until 10:00 and then the adult swimming was until midnight.

Had a very nice stay at this hotel and the staff was great and answered all our question during the Sturgis Rally There was something for everyone here in Hot Springs and the staff was kind enough to point out the places of interest.

We stayed here on June 17, 2014, we stated when we checked in that it was a rewards night, and were not told of any additional charges. When we got our charge card statement there was a $34.55 charge and no explanation. I called and talked to the evening clerk he confirmed the charge, but said there was no explanation.... More

Check-in was by a lady who didn't seem very happy. Room was clean, nothing special. Ask for a room facing the back, the first floor front is the parking lot and the second floor front has a nice view of the trailer park across the street. Bathroom fan made a racket (replace it - they are not that expensive!). Breakfast... More

We chose this hotel based on its location to activities in between Hot Springs, SD and Mt. Rushmore. The location is within walking distance to the downtown area of Hot Springs. The hotel had a hot tub and swimming pool that my kids enjoyed. The breakfast had enough variety to help us get our day started.
