Stayed here recently on business with a couple colleagues. The hotel is well situated near good restaurants, bars, and the theater. My colleagues stayed in recently updated rooms with flat screens and nicer bathrooms, but were located near the elevator. I prefer to be away from the noise makers and was put in an older room with an old tv... More

We had a wonderful evening with friends at this small but elegant hotel. It had been quite a while since we had stayed at this facility but it was still wonderfully maintained. We had a quite large king room. Street noise was somewhat of a problem early in the evening but didn't bother our sleep. The restaurant is just amazing... More

Our experience here was delightful. We have been in a few boutique and luxury hotels in the area and while things may be well constructed or historic they are not always functioning or staffed. Here, the historic elements are taken care of (clean and in use) and staff were always available for our needs. At other places, the valet and... More

We stayed in a third floor "perimeter" executive double queen room that was recently redone, and it was really nice. There was nothing old or tired about the room's decor. Everything in the room was new. Its modern style was sophisticated without being too cold. The room's lighting package is the most advanced of any hotel room that I've seen--perhaps... More

I like historic hotels. This was my first visit. On a couple prior occasions, the rates were beyond my comfort factor. This trip I scored a $119 AARP rate for a business queen. There was a cheaper AAA rate of $114 but I don't belong to AAA. This was an apparent slow time prior to Christmas. I took heed of... More

There aren’t enough good things to say about this hotel. For a very reasonable price, I was pleasantly surprised by the Cincinnatian. Some of the highlights: 1) wireless internet—I didn’t experience any problems with connectivity while there in my room; 2) great, helpful staff who are very friendly—from the front desk staff, to the bar staff, to the valet staff;... I travel a lot, so I've been through a number of hotels over the years. After a while, they all blur into one, especially in the US. This hotel tries to keep up some old charm, with brass keys, a doorman, quaint decor. At the same time, they manage to keep up with the times (their wireless was fantastic). It... More

An overnight stay with dinner at The Palace. We enjoyed the personal attention. Our room included a balcony overlooking The Cricket Lounge. Loved the big, thirsty towels and double-headed shower. The room was very comfortable and clean. In the morning we ordered room service which took a little longer than they had estimated and a couple items were missing (which... More

I usually don't pay much attention to my room when I'm traveling as I tend to not spend much time there. However, for this trip, I knew I'd be in my room a lot so I paid up for the Executive Deluxe Queen. It was completely worth it. There was a tv in the bathroom which I love for getting... More

Great bar and jazz band at The Cincinnatian -- was in town for a boring wedding and was happy to return to hotel for drinks and good music. Room was comfortable but faced lobby/courtyard, and blinds didnt work, so it was like staying in a closet. Not that there's much going on in Cincy anyway, so if you have to... More
