It's pretty old school. Actual KEY locks, a CD player, and I had a view of an old time fire escape. Small sleeping area but big bathrooms. And a nice little bar. The best thing is that it's a great location, right near other good places to go.

Our first trip to Cincinnati yielded a pleasant surprise. The hotel which we selected based on my casino hosts recommendation was one of the finest hotels we have stayed at. The hotel is a national landmark and is quite comfortably and elegantly appointed. My wife described our room as a comfortable bedroom as if we were home not in a... More

wife and i picked this hotel off hotels.com and it was perfect for us to use for walking the city and attending baseball games at GAB. hotel was old elegance with fantastic updates; big room, one of the most comfortable beds i've ever been in, nice people everywhere. maybe the only two drawbacks: 1) parking (valet only) was not cheap,... The Cincinnatian is a classic downtown hotel, close to Fountain Square, Duke Energy center, ballparks and restaurants. Our room was amazing, quiet and serene. It's old but that's the charm, there is nothing else like it in town. The Palace Restaurant is wonderful, interesting elegant cuisine. We enjoyed our stay.

I do not know where to start Poor quality at this hotel I have stayed at all nice hotels in Cincy and this by far is my worst experience unless you like everything vintage Old towels and bath mats Shaky headrest, dust on corners Horrible beds and worst of all, something loud coming from ceiling all night...cannot sleep Arrived late... We are staying here as part of a road trip. Having stayed at several other similar prices hotels I must say thus one fell short if my expectations. The decor is very 80's style Our room was small and as we overlooked the atrium noise came up from there. Didn't eat here, so cannot comment. Several cafes and restraints nearby... More

We are not enamored with a hotel just because it is old. The room was large though nothing special. The bed was not particularly comfortable. The towels were not very plush. There were not many people there. If there are updated rooms, we're not sure for whom they were saving them. In short, it didn't live up to the hype.... More

This restored hotel is beautiful with outstanding decor throughout the hotel and impeccable service...in the hotel. The former chef and long-standing maitre d'hotel have both left and the service now in the restaurant is abominable. At both dinner and breakfast I waited more than fifteen minutes at the empty maitre d'hotel desk and not a single waiter even acknowledged my... More

This is a grand old hotel that was updated some time ago and is due for some additional improvements. Though the exterior is classy and authentic, the interior seems to have lost some, if not most, of its historical authenticity. The location is convenient to downtown venues, easily within walking distance of major business offices and theaters. The rate was... More

Great hotel. Fully enjoyed, cricket bar, ambiance, staff is very accommodating. A must to stay at when in town. Easy to walk or grab can from location. Easy to get to both stadiums also staff provides great assistance when looking for dining or venues.
