We stayed for three nights last weekend and it could not have been better. The entire place has been renovated with far fewer rooms than before but maintaining the old world charm. Service was great, and even though there was a large wedding party staying there, we never felt shuffled off to second place. more

The Mariemont Inn is in a tiny, charming, suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. Seemingly a world away from, not only the city, but from the 21st century. The lobbly is like an old-world ski lodge, complete with buffalo and deer heads mounted on the walls. During my holiday visit, they were even wearing Santa hats! While strange, the area was cozy... more

The Mariemont is a great stay for travelers looking to get away from the traditional chain hotel. Separated from downtown Cincinnati by a 15-20 minute drive, which is itself scenic at times, the hotel is a great combination of historic charm and modern updates. Our corner king room was clean, well-maintained and the bathroom offered separate shower and bath, all... more

Don’t let the Best Western label fool you, this is definitely not just a normal hotel. The Best Western Mariemont Inn is one of the hotels listed on the Historic Hotels of America website. I selected this hotel only because I was out of other options, since all of my normal business hotels in the area (i.e. Sheraton, Hilton, Hyatt)... more

Are we all staying at the same place? Okay remember that haunted inn that you saw in horror movies. Well Voila! It is sooooo dark in here. Dark! The dark wood, the dark carpet, they even have pink sheets (never have I slept on pink sheets). The front desk was friendly - thus the 2 star rating but if you... more

This was a charming and quaint little hotel. My room was small but adequate—and it was a great price. The room was clean and tidy. They are currently undergoing a renovation on the entrance but I didn’t hear any construction noise during my stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. This isn’t a typical chain hotel; it’s quirky but comfortable. The... more

We have been coming to the Mariemont Inn for many years. In fact, we had our wedding reception here. To me it feels like home. I am happy to see that some rooms are being updated, but that the staff is still friendly and the rooms and bathrooms are spotless. The bar and restaurant downstairs have only gotten better over... more

This is a nice hotel in a nice location at a nice price. The common areas and restaurant are well preserved in their Bavarian (????) motif. The room was small and had been updated at different times in different styles. I wouldn't call it ecclectic. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and in working order. The restaurant was excellent... more

Over the last 10 years I have stayed at the BW Mariemont Inn hundreds of nights. I travel to Cincinnati on business regularly. Some rooms are small, but being alone makes room size immaterial. There are plenty of larger rooms. The facility could use a face lift; it is looking tired, but I understand one is on the way. I... more

My wife and I stay at the Marimont Inn six to eight times per year when we come to Cincinatti. Our first stay was in April 2002 and at that time we were there every two weeks for two night stays through December 2002, for medical reasons, thats a lot of nights. We never experienced one bad time. The Inn... more
