Room was very small, but with a nice view. The decor of the room was old, outdated and smelled bad; not as advertised in the pics. The room, particularly the bathroom was not very clean. The hallway was dirty and smelled poorly also. However, the front desk staff was friendly, although the bus boy and other workers were hanging in... more

Figuring spending $100 a night for a hotel, I didn't expect the Ritz, however this was just pretty sad. The bed was uncomfortable, with mis-formed sheets that pulled off the bed all night. Upon my departure I found small bite marks all of my skin, and found obvious signs of bed bugs. The room was 2 rooms away from the... more

When we arrived at the Terrace we had to circle the city block three times before we could park. 6th Street is very busy and there is a small area in the front used for valet, but it was full. We went to the parking lot around the side of the building, and carried all of our stuff quite a... more

Booked this hotel because the corner suite was roughly the same price as several other hotels' regular rooms. There were little things that could have been nicer, but overall I thought it was nice. Huge bathroom, comfortable beds, great views of the city and river; I reccommend the corner suite for sure. There was a plumbing problem with our room... more

I booked our room at the Cinci Blues Society festival rate of $79. I came to this site and saw the reviews and got rather nervous. But then I thought the Society wouldn't do us wrong, so we came on up from TN. It is true the hotel is an older building, but Cincinnati is an old city and we... more

I went to the Terrace Hotel for a conference. It is two blocks from the Duke Energy center in Cincinnati and it is about 100 per night, so it seemed like a good choice. Let's start with the positives, the staff is really helpful and friendly. They were polite, very concerned that my stay was going well and helpful with... more

After reading the reviews I was a little worried when my husband told me we were staying at the Terrace this time in Cincinnati. We were there for the Red's/Red Sox series. We had a great time. The only negative was the size of the beds-they were kind of small. Other than that check-in was crowded when we got there... more

Having read some negative reviews here, I reluctantly booked the Terrace anyway because it was roughly $40 cheaper than any other available hotel. Well, it was cheaper for good reason, and the reviews didn't lie. The Terrace used to be run by Crowne Plaza and Hilton before that. In fact, I stayed there 7-8 years ago when it was a... more

We just completed our stay and were not very impressed. The staff were friendly and it was extremely close to the Great American Ballpark, but thats where the amenities end. The hallway carpets mound up so be careful you don't trip, the shower dripped and was chipped and rusted, the rooms are very small and the european twin beds mean... more

I actually torn between the experience being terrible, vs OK. The staff was friendly, and tried their best to please the customers. However, the hotel itself was terrible!!!! Never mind the non-existent of room service, slow to non internet access, bad reception for the TV, dirty carpet, and the falling plaster from the walls. We actually had roaches. We went... more
