OK - I will start with the positive. Their dog is awesome and they are very very nice people who obviously have good taste. If you take a walk or jog along the dead end streets to the south there are some great views of the city. Especially if you walk over to Young Street to Channel 5's studios. There... More

Great place to stay. The area is quiet and pretty close to everything. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and Barry was great conversation! Their dog Luna was also a great housemate. Any time I come back to Cincinnati we will definitely book here!

Great place to stay. Quiet and comfortable. I had to leave before breakfast was served, but they made food available even though I was leaving at 7 AM. Great couple, great home, warm and comfortable. I will be returning.

We loved everything about our stay at Hopkins Bed and Breakfast. The house was cozy and the room was perfect for two (1 queen bed). Barry & Ethel were great hosts, so glad we got to meet them. The house is located very close to the downtown area which made it very convenient for us, as we had to travel... More

My wife and I booked in after a scary night at the Budget Host and what a pleasant surprise ! Ethel and Barry welcomed us with a cup of coffee and we instantly felt at home ! We happily walked Downtown from here with no hint of a problem ! The breakfasts were really nice and homely and the rooms... More

My husband and I were driving down to Mammoth caves from Michigan and decided to break at Cincinnati for the night. We booked our accommodation at Hopkins nearly a month before our trip. First off let me start off by saying the B&B was a great deal. A good place to stay and rest. As we drove up the neighborhood wasn't in the best of shape but you can tell the town is working on getting the area cleaned up. The house doesn't look the best from the curb but you can tell... More

The people are friendly enough but unless you need to be walking distance (daytime only) to the Christ Hospital or somewhere else close by you'd be better off at any chain hotel. I say this because you'll have your own bathroom, a more comfortable mattress and likely a cleaner atmosphere. Oh, and I definitely wouldn't walk to the downtown from... More

The hosts are really friendly and interesting. The location is great, the downtown bus stops literally in front of the house and takes you downtown in minutes. The room was very large, but quite cool and drafty as the windows are old and don't seal. It was a little odd sharing the bathroom with the owners, but not a big... More

Barry & Ethel are very hospital and friendly. House has a nice feel to it (even though construction is still in progress - it did not bother me a bit). Barry stayed up late to meet me after I was delayed on the road. And they have a cutest fog ever. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
