Best B and B in Cincinnati! All the rooms are spacious, each with its own style. Felt like royalty coming down the grand staircase for breakfast. Nancy knows all the local Clifton hotspots and things to do. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, UC and hospitals as well as the Esquire Theatre. My daughter's wedding party stayed here and loved it.

We enjoyed a great stay at the Clifton House, a restored mansion treasure from 1909. The owner, Nancy, was a friendly and informative host. Our room was clean, comfortable (firm mattress) and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. The B&B is just two blocks from a vibrant neighborhood on Ludlow Avenue, with many shops and restaurants (thanks for the tip to try... More

Stayed two weekend nights at the Clifton House. This is a classic early 20th century Clifton mansion with a large central hall with double back stairway, large public rooms and bedrooms, beautiful finishes. It has been very successfully converted into a B&B; it feels like you're visiting a well to do family in this late 19th century suburb of Cincinnati.... More

We stayed in the cottage, but had free reign of entire home. Beautiful. Bed and bath were perfect, pretty area. Had a pizza from Dewey's yummy. Nancy very helpful and nice. Breakfast was great, I am not a fan of poached eggs but there were other things on plate to eat;) would stay again.

What a wonderful and friendly host Nancy is. Filled with info on interesting places to visit locally and downtown, Nancy is a wealth of information. The breakfast included in your nightly rate is nothing short of deliciously amazing. Cooked by a local culinary school graduate, the tastes and flavours change each day. Nancy's home is a charming and enjoyable place... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Clifton House! The house is lovely with lots of charm. Nancy is welcoming and accommodating, we loved hearing the history of the home and appreciated restaurant and activity suggestions. It was a quick drive to downtown and parking was very easy (and free!). The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! We will be back to... More

I enjoyed my visit here. Nancy is wonderful but I am going to mention also the negative. The B&B is very clean and quiet. The AC kept our room comfortable. Loved the porch and my husband loved the afternoon wine. Great location to walk 2 short blocks to a vibrant neighborhood with great restaurant and shops. The facility itself is... More

I am almost a little hesitant to write this review of the Clifton House for fear that it will become so popular that it will be difficult to get reservations in the future! But, Ms. Nancy who is the owner, has done a remarkable job and certainly deserves an exceptional review.... So here goes.... . We arrived in the late... More

This was a lovely place to stay. We were helping our son move in to a house nearby and stayed here. It was so wonderful, when we checked out to go stay with him and changed our mind, we checked back into the house. We got the same room which was exquisite and enjoyed it just as much the second... From the very nicely presented full breakfast to comfortable rooms and a good location, Clifton house has it all. Originally a posh home belonging to a well-to-do banker, the home has been purchased and set up as an excellent B&B in the artsy gaslight district of Cincinnati near to the University of Cincinnati and Good Samaritan Hospital. On street parking... More
