At first glance we weren't expecting much from this hotel - we actually sat in the parking lot and called around to see if we could get a better rate somewhere else. We couldn't beat $60, so we decided to check-in. Our room was in the recently renovated portion of the hotel and was very nice. Good air conditioner, nice... more

My first impression of this hotel was NOT good. I got there at 7:00 pm to check-in. We booked a room for 3 adults on a major discount hotel website, but when we got there were told we were booked in a room with only one queen bed. I asked how we were supposed to sleep 3 in a bed... more

We just returned from a trip to Walla and a stay at the Budget Inn. For the price, we were very satisfied. Since we were in town to visit wineries and enjoy good food, we spent limited time in our room. We checked in easily and were given rooms in the newer section next to our friends. The rooms are... more

Good, clean, friendly staff. Only paid 50 bucks a room - good for the price. Quiet, with clean shower and I didn't have any issues. Check is was really nice. more

The pros: -- Shower head is taller than 6 ft -- Shower curtain lets light into tub area -- No cigarette smoke smell -- Clean linens -- New mattresses and boxsprings (yes I checked) -- Location -- Price -- Great reception on "free" wifi (at least in room 108) -- 24hr checkin -- might have to wake up the night... more

We had to stay two days in Walla Walla because of a medical procedure for my husband at St. Mary's. The Fair was on and the last available rooms were at the Budget Inn. I'd driven past the hotel on several occasions but had never stayed there before. They advertised NEW ROOMS REMODELED WING FREE INTERNET... etc. I figured for... more

Booked online due to the location (across parking lot from Marcus Whitman, where I was attending a conference). Upon my arrival (just after 12 noon) I had to wait 10-15 minutes before someone came to the office. Checkin was fast and easy. I was given a room in the original wing, which was disappointing. Not filthy, but the carpet had... more

After reading the previous posts, we insisted on staying in the new addition. Rooms was clean, towels, soap, shampoo were ok, but the same as at other hotels in this "value class". You can get rates close to $59+ tax during the weekdays, but book in advance for weekends. Lot's of wine country travelers, conventions, etc... more

I should have known from the second we checked in that this would be a problem. We called one week before our stay to make sure we had a double bed. When we arrived, the desk agent said they gave the room away and tried to give us a single bed for all three people, with no rollaways. They then... more

You definitely want to check out the room first before you agree to stay in it. Our first room was filthy, the floor hadn't been vacuumed in god knows how long, the pillow cases had make-up smeared on them, the blanket on one of the beds had a very disgusting stain on it, the drain was broke in the sink,... more
