My two younger children and myself took a trip to International Falls and needed a place to stay. Seeing there were no major hotels there, we looked at Trip Advisor and decided to stay at the Hilltop. I was so happy. This is an old school drive up motel like you would see in the movies. We pulled right up... More

I recently stayed there with my family. The room was very clean and decorated in a rustic theme. Owners were friendly and helpful as I need a hair dryer and they provided one on request although one was not in the room. The owner also helped me print out some documents I needed which was really helpful while traveling. The... More

We're a dad, mom, and two little boys. Stayed in Room 18 with a queen and double bed. Room was ample in size and the bathroom actually larger than expected. Owners were helpful and pleasant to talk with. We called only 2 hours before showing up and was easily accommodated... guess we lucked out in picking a low traffic week.... More

The owners were very helpful with advice about where I could go for a run, where the best pizza was, and where to get cough medicine on a Sunday. Our little cabin had three beds for the three of us and was very clean, cute, and spacious. My only suggestion would be different sheets. I like white sheets as opposed... More

New owners - very helpful and accommodating. Spic and span clean...a wonderful touch of nostalgia...a perfect place to stay on your way to or from Canada. Continental breakfast offered and homemade banana bread too. Eat out or have a great pizza delivered from Giovanni's !

Old fashioned place with pleasant service and amenities. We went fishing and arrived late with the room ready and ice per our request for coolers. Small but descent breakfast and friendly helpful owners.

To be honest I am a hotel snob . Have only stayed at chain hotels for over 20 years. What a great experience to stay at Hilltop Motel while we toured Voyagers National Park . The room was large, bathroom was large and everything was immaculate. The owners extremely friendly and pleasant. Definitely would recommend this motel to anyone in... More

After a long hot miserable day, I needed a room for the night. All the hotels in town were full so I gave this one a shot and I'm really glad I did. The owner was running the desk and she went above and beyond to help me get situated for the night. I was pleasantly surprised to get one... More
