This property is a classic case of accommodation schizophrenia. Some rooms (the suites) are very good with incredible views of the Mississippi River bend at Vicksburg, while the cheap rooms are poor quality with no view. The hotel is located directly on the river bank and has the best views of the river of any hotel in Vicksburg. The suites... More

We stopped here after driving for seven hours & after reading mixed reviews. We first attempted to make online reservations and couldn't, we were asked at the front desk & reported that we couldn't the reply was "oh". My husband was told the room price would be $65 but if he went and got a players club card it would... More

The rooms were okay but not what we expected. The casino is much smaller than the Diamond Jacks in Louisiana. However, out of the other places we have stayed in Vicksburg this seems to be the best in the area. We like that the hotel is actually connected to the casino unlike one of the other casinos in town. The... More

The casino was fun and clean, but the rooms are dirty. Stay somewhere else (especially if you are traveling with kids)!! The staff was helpful and polite, unfortunately the stuff stuck in the carpets and the overall uncleanliness of the obviously old rooms made this trip the first and last at this hotel.

We brought my dad to take in the history and sites of Vicksburg. We upgraded to the suite where we all thought the view of the Mississippi River was beautiful. •beds were comfy •a/c worked VERY WELL! •staff was polite •did not visit casino but ordered food from the small cafe/restaurant upstairs. Was ok •the jacuzzi tub was right on... More

First off I will start with the good. The price for the motel was decent compared to the other casino hotels. The room was clean even though it did smell like stale smoke. Even though I read mixed reviews about the buffet we ate there on Monday evening. There was 4 of us in the group and we all enjoyed... More

We drove to Vicksburg as a short get-away and stayed at the hotel. We are not gamblers and only spent about 2 hrs in the casino/restaurant. The hotel room (we stayed in 411) was in bad need of an update. The bathroom had lime green/ white stripe wallpaper that was peeling and the tv was an old one, not a... More

Rooms (we were in two) smell like smoke and are generally sub par on the cleanliness meter. First room had hairs visible on the tub and in the sink. Non-starter for the wife. Called front desk and they switched us next door. Both rooms smelled like smoke. Front desk clerk said "sometimes people cheat and smoke in the rooms". Whole... More

Out of date rooms, smells like an ash try. Employees at the desk very nice. Employes in casino could care less about your experience. What ever happened to the days where you could have fun playing and having a drink? Not here! Cocktails far between and rude! To busy standing around talking. The machines ... That's another post.

If you like beds hard as a board and cardboard pillows, peeling paint, 25" square tv's, the availabilty to hear neighbors on both sides, partying in the halls, no escaping the smell of smoke, robotic front desk clerks that are only here for a paycheck, then this is your place! If you like the fact the ice machine makes ice... More
