We were taken back upon our arrival at this hotel, the hallways were dark, musty and not very inviting. The room was very drab and the bathroom was not very clean , the breakfast was horrrible and the pool was closed for three of the four days we were there. On the third day we went to the frontdesk with several... more

The Mirarmar was a great hotel for our trip in May. It's not a five-star hotel at all, but the location is perfect and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I traveled with my mom and she is a smoker and the Miramar is one of the only hotels that offer smoking floors. The room was very clean and... more

I booked what I thought would be a holiday of a lifetime and was assured by the travel agent we booked through that this was a great hotel for the money in a perfect location. My husband and I were so excited when we set off on our trip, however on walking into our room, I cried. It was not... more

We stayed at the Miramar as part of a pre-cruise package through our travel agent and thought the price and the location were excellent. The hotel itself is about a 3 star but being next to the International Market Place and 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach was perfect. We originally had a partial ocean view room on the 15th floor... more

My daughter and I stayed from March 21st to the 28th 2009. The hotel room on arrival smelled moldy. We kept the air conditioner running full time to try and keep the moldy smell down. There were water stains on the wall, as well as above the patio door where there was a crack in the cieling tile whrere rusty... more

Am a travel agent and stayed in the Miramar in March 2009 for a holiday - first time to Hawaii. Am used to 5 star and am used to selling the best of the best, and was pleasantly surprised. The staff at the Miramar are always friendly and always willing to help, staff at Sammy's for breakfast were so nice... more

I arrived on Satuarday night in very heavy rain after travelling for 15 hours only to be given a room stuck at the back of the hotel overlooking a parking lot with absolutely no view. When I went to the front desk to as it there was another room with any kind of view because the one I had was... more

This hotel was really rundown and needed to be updated. They did not have any foam pillows, I am allergic to feather. When we were checking in the agent was taking calls while we stood there and waited for her to release our key. The main restaurant was also closed our entire stay as were the lobby bathrooms. She was... more

We stayed at the Miramar last summer on our first trip to Hawaii and were very happy with the hotel. The location was unbeatable - right in the centre of everything and close to the beach (only 1 block away). The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. The man in the tour office was exceptional - very... more
