After reading reviews of this hotel I was a little worried but was surprised it was fine. Maybe we were lucky with one that had been refurbished. We could tell it was old but it was clean and functional. Definitely not plush but it has everything you need for the price! Balcony was a nice feature too. Staff were friendly... More

I don't understand this people who are so salty about this hotel. First of all we are all aware that this is a 3 star hotel and you expect 5 star quality rooms? You should pay more and go to a bigger hotel!!! Stop complaining and start acting cheapos!! anyhow! My son and I really liked our room this was... More

I had a bad feeling as soon as the elevator stopped and I stepped onto my floor. The hallway looked disgusting and straight out of a 70s porn. As soon as I walked into the room, there was a overwhelming odour of mold and mustiness, like a wet beach towel had been left under the bed for a year. The... More

Nicely renovated with a modern look that's not over done...close to many shops, restaurants. friendly staff that meets & greets with the true "ALOHA" spirit...this hotel is truly the "gateway" to Waikiki !!

Hotel is located downtown. Restaurants are close by and taxis are available everywhere. Hotel is nice. Room was clean. Bathroom clean. No complaints. Hallway areas remind me of an old apartment building. Didn't like the additional $10 amenities charge, what amenities????? Also $25 charge for valet. You have too, no where else to park. Nickel and dime you with charges.... More

My wife and I had not been away by ourselves in a very long time so this was really a disappointment! We had 2 balconies; one was not usable because the old window ac was leaking from the ac above us and our ac unit. Although the room had been renovated they forgot completely about the tiny bathroom; rusted bathtub... More

I was very surprised with the room we got, (1512)we are were expecting the worse since we bought our room at hotel tonight and with the price we paid about $80 we got lucky. Beds are comfortable and the room it self is quite big for the two of us. The lanai is noisy with the traffic but once you... More

This was a prefect hotel for me since I was traveling alone and wanted to be in the Waikiki area. The hotel doesn't offer a lot of the amenities that some of the others do in the area but it does well with what it has. The pool area is small and not really set up for more than 4-5... More

The staff was very helpful and polite. The rooms were not super nice but were clean, suffice and the hotel was in the middle of upgrading when I stayed (Aug 2014). I saw dozens of new flat screen tv's going into rooms and the lobby appeared to be newly renovated. They were starting with the top floors and working their... More
