The staff are good, the location great. However although the public entry areas are new the 80s era brown carpets, the hard beds , wafer pilows and worlds ugliest small refrigerators (wood vinyl covered) all need replacing. Stayed here August 15 -19th. For the cost this is a great hotel within easy walking distnce of all of Waikiki beaches and shopping. A 5+ minutes walk over the "Fort" park right to the beach.
