Perfect position which is set back from the main street & has great views of Honolulu Zoo, Diamond Head & the beach. Good amenities, friendly helpful staff and hotel is quiet, yet handy to beaches & Waikiki. Will definitely be high on my list of possible accommodation sites in the future.

The staff was great, very helpful and accomodating. Our view of diamondhead was awesome. Bed was comfy. It was very quiet at night on that side of Waikiki. This is an older hotel with lots of character. I wouldn't recomend for pretentious hoity toity types. On the downside the bartender was kind of a douche and the rail booze was... More

We were 3 couples , parents and married children , on last leg of 10 day Hawaii holiday. We had visited last year as a couple and wanted to share this trip with our family. Boy did we notice 100% improvement in the whole experience, from the staff attitude at check in, complementary upgrades for each couple ! The junior... More

We recently enjoyed a 4 night stay at this hotel and couldn't fault the service. We arrived early after an international flight and the front desk graciously upgraded us to an Ocean View Room with an early check in. We were on the 14th floor and had an excellent view over Waikiki beach. We wanted to be a little away... More

Jocelyn at the front desk during the day shift went above and beyond her duties. She was friendly every morning to us and made my family and I feel most welcome at the lovely hotel. Will definitely return and would highly recommend this hotel for a great aloha experience!

From the bellmen to the valets to the front desk, everyone was very hospitable, friendly and helpful. When I asked to be given a room with a better view, it was accommodated easily since it was available the next day...we moved from the 8th floor to the 16th and woke up to an incredible view of Diamond Head. We enjoyed... More

One of the highlights of our stay was a 'talk story' experience with Ron Kikamoto. He talked about the history of the Hawaiian culture and the rich diversity of history that has taken place on the islands. He is an articulate speaker and very knowledgeable. He made the history lesson captivating, he really 'talks story". Much mahalo's to Ron for... More

All in all, I will stay at another hotel on my next Honolulu trip BUT I wouldn't tell someone not to stay here. It all depends on your priorities, in hindsight, I wish we would've paid more money to stay at a slightly nicer hotel despite the fact that we were out of our room most of the day. I... More
