Please stay away from this hotel, it is disgusting. Not only is the room old and moist, the carpet is gross and dirty, they probably never clean it. During the 10 days we stayed there, the first two mornings the alarm for the whole floor went off at around 5am and woke everyone up and they didn't even say anything.... More

The location of this hotel is great - and the first impression of the lobby was good. We had to wait until 3pm to check in, and after 5 hours walking around on Waikiki we finally got to our room. It was unbelievable small, we could barely fit two people in there. No room for our luggange, and with a... More

The positives. Only one street back from the beach, relatively quiet, on the bus route, close to everything needed. Best of all was our room had a coffee maker and a fridge. Negatives. The only thing I can say was that because we chose the cheapest room possible to save a bit of money it was smaller than we are... More

This is an older hotel but it is good value compared to other hotels in Waikiki. The rooms were clean and a good size. Front desk customer service was great, we arrive early after a long flight and let us check in early and gave us an upgrade.

The Queen Kapiolani Hotel is well situated one block from Waikiki Beach and across the road from the Honolulu Zoo. You can hear monkeys especially in the early morning when all else is quiet. Our suite, 1817, featured a washroom, bathroom/toilet, a spacious living area and a large balcony overlooking the beach and the park. The shower provided plenty of... More

I came to Hawaii for a long distance spa day by myself. I wanted to wake up with a fabulous view of the ocean and Diamond Head, and requested the room pictured on their website as the Ocean View room. When I arrived, I was given that exact view, and was upgraded to a JR suite with a smile. My... More

Loved the view, close to Waikiki Beach. Paid $25 each day for parking but was a great service. Open lobby, with a nice breeze flowing through. Nice balcony, view of Diamond Head and the ocean. Would stay here again in the future and recommend to anyone.
