Aloha! My friends and I had a great stay at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel. One of the highlights was a complimentary and very informative presentation by the General Manager, Ron Kikumoto, who gave a very good overall picture of the culture and history of the Hawaiian people and of the Hawaiian Group of Islands. To learn of Queen Kapiolani's love... More

Aloha! This might not be the newest hotel in town, but the location is perfect, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the service, excellent. A highlight of the stay was the complimentary informative presentation by the General Manager, Ron Kikumoto, sharing the history and culture of the Hawaiian people, including the caring life of Queen Kapiolani. We felt that... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and we're very satisfied with our stay. The front desk and valets were very welcoming and friendly. This was the first hotel we stayed at during our vacation and it was a great start to our trip. Be warned they charge $100.00 as a security deposit, which they remove when you check out,... More

Our first stay at the Queen Kapiolani was excellent...our second stay just as fine. In addition to being convenient to H-1 and highly recommended "local" eating establishments, It's located across from a beautiful park and Zoo...our room again having an unfettered view of Diamond Head. We so enjoy watching the sun rise over Diamond Head sipping coffee while the elephants... More

We followed the advice in the travel guide of Oahu Revealed and booked a room in the "old, classic" but newly remodeled Queen Kapiolani Hotel. Our room was located several floors up with a breath-taking view off our balcony of Diamond Head and the ocean. Below us was the zoo complete with the animals and vegetation. What a beautiful, out-of-the-way,... More

We decided to take our family on a mini stay-cation. The Queen Kapiolani was the perfect spot, from the moment we pulled up to the property to time of checkout the level of service was spot on. The gentleman working the AM valet shift greeted us with a warm welcome and informed us where he was going to park our... More

Aloha! Thank you for sharing your recent stay-cation and we appreciate your comment of Queen Kapiolani Hotel being a great place to stay. It is truly wonderful when residents decide to have a stay-cation versus going to the mainland and truly enjoy their stay. One thing we are truly proud of is our employees. We stayed over one night on our way to the further South Pacific. I had stayed with my mother in 1976- it is a good solid Honolulu value. There are about 6 ABC shops in the neighborhood so you can save a little money on food & beverages making good use of the frig. A great walking path along the... More
