While the physical condition of the hotel left something to be desired (some renovations were underway), the people of the hotel were outstanding. When we first arrived, the room we had reserved was unavailable so they upgraded us to the penthouse at minimal cost. Unfortunately the air conditioning in that room was out of order, so they managed to find... More

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Kitchen units are well stocked and have a nice layout. They stayed in 1441 and it was not noisy. Staff were very helpful. We did a some hot water issues but they were quickly fixed. Great value! Great location - right across the street from the Internation Market.

Hotel very well located in Waikiki. A few meters from " INTERNATIONAL MARKET PLACE ", a few minutes from the famous WAIKIKI BEACH. Shops, Restaurants, bars & fast foods very close from the hotel. Hotel staff very friendly, willing to help & showing all Hawaiian Spirit. Kitchenette Rooms are very comfortables with Lanai ( balcony ), a small but full... More

We booked the room in April, 2009 and asked for a queen or king size bed. After travelling 14 hours and arriving at 11PM, we were given a room the size of a broom closet! One double bed, pocket door to bathroom as room was sooo small! We called the front desk and were assured we could move the next... More

Hotel is in a great location; grocery store across the street, 5 minute walk to the beach, International Market Place across the street, Starbucks down the street, and many close restaurants. The rooms were somewhat small, but definently adequate for our needs. We reserved a standard room and were upgraded to a kitchenette upon check-in at no additional charge. The... More

My mom and I stayed here for a week in September. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette which was wonderful! Most mornings we would go to the delicious bakery just down the street from the hotel and grab a bun or something like that, then grab some fruit (and a couple of times I grabbed a hard boiled... The hotel is conveniently located to the beach as well as to restaurants and shopping areas so you can pretty much get by without a car. The hotel is also family-friendly - we got a crib in the room at no extra charge. Last but not the least, the staff were friendly and helpful. What I did not like about... More

STRONGLY RECOMMEND. Good service, nice personnel, rooms are comfortable and clean, new matresses, good price and close to Waikiki beach and stores. Hotel is not new but well kept. They are making renovations on some floors. . Don't recommend Chili,s however, the restaurant in the lobby cause too greasy and expensive. Go to Smorgy's Buffet next door, better food and... More

the location was the best thing about this hotel, it's walking distance from the beach and your room key gives you unlimited free ride on the pink trolley which take you the the Ala Moana Shopping mall.

We stayed after Christmas for 7-days. Our room had a kitchenette (2-burner stove, microwave, toaster, fridge and coffee maker) and had patio with parking lot view. This view is the quiet side of hotel. Room with street or ocean view may be impacted by noise from basement bar (from what another guest told me). Room was very clean, and bathroom... More
