Great location right across from the back of the International Market. Food Pantry supermarket is also across the street which is very convenient since we stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bath, and kitchen suite with 6 adults and 2 kids under 4. The suite was very spacious as was the accompanying balcony! Front desk, maintenance and housekeeping staff were... more

Weeks before our trip, we gain many beneiftis from reviews on this hotel from this website. We would like to return our debt to this site with a review of this hotel. Location is excellent, just across the International Market Place and the beach. Bus stops are plenty around and we get free access to the Pink Line trolley that... more

I was a little nervous after I had booked this hotel because of the reviews I had read and hoped I had made a good decision. I was very happy with the hotel. We had a party of 8, 5 adults, 1 teenager and two children, 9 & 6. We booked 3 rooms with kitchenetts. We were not adjacent to... more

The location is good. The price was fine, but the room looked dirty, smelled musty, and the furniture was very stained. This place needs an update. Surprisingly the bed was not uncomfortable. Pool area was fine. more

We stayed at the Ohana West for a week business trip. I was lucky to go along for leisure. In 2006 the rooms needed some updating but it looks like recent posts indicate this occurred. The room was roomy for 2, nice pool/bar area for evening drinks. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. One night we had to complain about... more

All 4 of us enjoyed our stay here. We had a family room with kitchenette adjoining a second standard room. Both rooms were clean and tidy, bathrooms were clean, the carpets were clean, housekeeping was fine, noise levels appropriate for Waikiki and the reception staff were wonderful. No complaints from us. In fact, we would stay again. more

On our very first trip to Honolulu, my wife and I stayed at Ohana Waikiki West. I have to say, we would have been much better off staying at a motel 6 or even a super 8. Why did I say that? 1. The Room just looked dirty, the paint looked like it has not been updated since the 1960s... more

We stayed at Ohana west for 3 nights and it was what we needed, nothing more or less. It was two blocks from the beach (short walk), plenty of places to eat at, plenty of shops near by. We were on the floor above the pool/bar area and it did get a bit noisy one of the nights. Beds were... more

We booked this hotel as part of a package from Hawaiian Airlines. It wasn't the cheapest hotel offered (but it was still pretty cheap) and it looked like a good value. The plusses: The location is great. It's centrally located to just about anything in Waikiki with a short walk. If you aren't going to be exploring Oahu then you... more

We stayed at the Ohana Waikiki West from May 14-18, 2009. We did do the 10.00 upgrade per night to get an oceanview room on the 10th floor facing Kuhio Avenue. It was noisy at times, but that is just city living. This hotel is very near the International Marketplace and has a bar open until 4:00 am so just... more
