This is a lower quality hotel - hotel 6 type of bed and linens. Parking larger vehicles is very difficult in Waikiki so I made sure it was taken care of ahead of time. However, when I went to park at the designated parking garage, I was told I did not have a spot reserved. I called the hotel employee... more

We chose this hotel to be on the budget side of the range of hotel costs. It is old and shows it, but the rooms were clean, the kitchenette was very useful, grocery shopping is nearby, the restaurant below is good, the location is excellent, and the staff is helpful, especially the activities desk. We were in a corner room... more

Firstly the location of this hotel is excellent , it is a block from the beach and within easy walking of any restaurant or shop within Waikiki . There are bus stops and tram stops right across the street in front of the Ohana West . We stayed on the 17th floor and had excellent views of the beach and... more

Although this property is obviously quite old you get the feeling they are going out of their way to please. Many amenities including free in-room wifi, free 15 min phone calls to Canada and mainland US, and micro-kitchens. The room was clean and staff was great. The location was good, not on the beach but only one block away and... more

We have been to Honolulu 5 times and have stayed in this hotel each time. Great location, friendly staff and great parking although it is about 18.00 per day. Some of the "simple saver" rooms are near the elevator shaft and there is some noise from that other wise it is a great place to stay. more

We stayed here for four days at the end of our trip. We stayed in time shares before we checked into the Ohana East. We thought the staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were the most comfortable of the whole trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a two block walk to Waikiki Beach. The central location... more

We had a great time on our honeymoon! The staff was sooo friendly! Our room was on the 17th floor so we had a great view. Needs little improvements here & there, for example the shower is very small, if you are a closterphobic person, you wouldnt like the shower. Other than that, the hotel was very cute! We were... more

This hotel has everything I needed---pool, fitness room, parking, room features, etc. The best part is its location just a couple blocks from Kuhio beach and between Kings Village and the Royal Hawaiian shopping center. We also got free rides on the pink line trolley just by showing our room key. more

Anyone who is looking for a centrally loated hotel in Waikiki & is on a budget, this is a perfect option. We stayed in a cityview room but could also see a full view of the ocean!!! Staff is very friendly and welcoming & loved that there is a pool and a jacuzzi. Their double beds seemed very large to... more

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.Good view and the pool was great. We stayed 7 nights and would go there again. The restaurant next door was good for breakfast - we tried a few different places but returned to this one again prices were reasonable. We thought food was very expensive dining out and the lack of... more
