Firstly this was not my choice of a Hotel; we were travelling as part of a tour group. If I was booking a hotel I would have not chosen this one to stay in. First impressions count for a lot with me, on entry to the room I was not overly impressed, its décor, furniture, carpet and bed cover was... more

I had a room on the 6th floor, not the best of view, but I could have paid a bit more for a better one. The room I had was a good size, the bathroom was quite small, but not really an issue for me. The room was very clean, comfortable king size bed. It's in a good location, plenty... more

Room was lovely - nice and clean, comfortable beds, we had a room with a view of the beach, beautiful. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Location was great, close to all activities and a short walk to the beach, sadly there is no restaurant in the hotel, but plenty close by. more

Stayed here for 7N and must say it was a pleasurable experience. The staff were briliant and very helpful. The general service provided by them was outstandinig. Friendly, prompt and genuine. If you stay here be prepared for a small bathroom and shower and an average, but comfortable, sized room. We stayed on level 10 and had partial views of... more

First shower was really small. The laundry room listed as an ammentity was a public facility that didn't ever have change for bills and charged $2.25 a load to wash and dry. The pool was not for small kids. The shallow end was 4 feet deep so for kids under this size they couldn't even stand in the pool. The... more

"Aloooooooooo haaaa...!" First of all lets get the cat out of the bag that, Yes, this was a "timeshare trial trip", which made hotel stay CHEAP and I mean CHEAP! I paid$40 and change for the hotel taxes and that's it. The front desk staff and maintenance staff was excellent and "listened" and "welcomed" you "first class"-like. The Maid that... more

I just returned from a 6-day/5-night stay in Waikiki, and we chose the Ohana East hotel due to its rates and its location. We decided to book a 'standard' room, but were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a room with a small kitchenette, at no additional charge. We arrived at the registration desk around 1pm, and were allowed to... more

My mom and my brother stayed at this hotel for four nights. Our first day, we met a cranky old man who sent our extra bed. he just literally dropped the bed in front of us. we have to move and arranged all the three beds again. There goes the service rating. Cleaniness- hotel is generally clean if you dont... more

My family and I just spent 5 days at the Ohana East and it was a very nice hotel conveniently located 1 block from the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and room was immaculate. The only negative I would say about the hotel was the Activities Desk staff was NOT helpful or friendly, they seem to only want to... more
