I stayed at the Ilima on three different dates in October, 2011. The hotel is in a good location, close to the Ala Wai canal and just a couple blocks off the Waikiki main drag. This was our second stay at the Ilima. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good internet in the room, but wifi only in the lobby. We booked through THE website, 5th night free. Around 95 bucks a night. That is a great deal. You get everything promised. Large clean room, well equiped kitchenette, 5 minutes off THE beach.
