Because of the many positive reviews here on tripadvisor, we booked a room for 19 nights. That was one of the best decisions we could made! The hotel is located in a pretty quite street. Our room was on the 5th floor with a view towards the mountains and the Ala Wai canal. Really beautiful! We enjoyed sitting every day... more

Like most of the other reviewers I could not complain about this hotel in any way. Dated in decor but clean and well maintained in every respect, and the rooms are twice the size of many of the more modern hotels in town. I stayed at the Ala Moana last year and my room there wouldn't be 1/2 the size... more

Stayed at the Ilima for eight nights in June and found it very good overall. A rather complete set of kitchen supplies, refrigerator, stove, and large flat screen TV. The free parking is great, but some of the spaces are small. I had a larger vehicle, so I just had to be a little bit earlier so I could get... more

The Ilima Hotel is a economic oasis in the middle of what can be a very expensive holiday if you don't shop around. We found this hotel by simply surfing the net and then discovered their special internet rates that provided much larger savings than their normal rack rate. Of course what does one do when you have no real... more

I searched for months for hotels and happened by the Ilima by sheer luck. After much research of reviews of Trip Advisor, I went to their (hotel) website and got a great deal, 4 nights the 5th one was FREE. Our room 1107 faced the mountains, canal and golf course, great view. It did get a litlle warm and the... more

My husband and I booked the Ilima Hotel through Expedia for its great price and high reviews here on Trip Advisor; surprisingly high for only a 2.5 star hotel. What we got was, to us, a 5 star experience based on what we were looking for. Even though this was our honeymoon, we are not the kind of people to... more

We stayed a total of 5 nights here and it was the best decision! The rooms are former condos, and we got a studio on the 11th floor, so we had a huge room that fit a king bed, a double bed, a desk, a small dining table, and a dresser quite comfortably. There was also plenty of storage, and... more

What an incredible find this hotel is. The price to stay was amazing. The staff are very polite, courteous and friendly. The authenticity and quality of service is outstanding. We rented a car to drive around Oahu and the free parking was a total bonus. The room we stayed in was clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious and perfectly adequate. The bed... more

Upon first glance, the room appears old, but then you realize just how clean everything is, which is the important thing. We are vegetarian and enjoyed cooking simple meals in our room as there isn't a lot of vegetarian cuisine in Waikiki. Our kitchen was very clean and we had all the cooking utensils and pots and pans we needed.... more

I found this hotel through tripadvisor and was nervous about booking the hotel, which I did direct with them over the internet. However, the hotel was quick to respond and very helpful in dealing with all of my e-mails and when we arrived (midnight) the staff were all very helpful and throughout our holiday they contributed to the fantastic time... more
