On the form this section is entitled 'Your review - Tips and Guidelines'. My tip is not to go there. In fact don't go to Hawaii or Honolulu at all, if you're a European at any rate. It's much too far to travel for a disappointing experience. You will get everything that you can get in Hawaii, and more, in... more

I really don't know what others are expecting after reading some of the negative reviews. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location. The grounds kept immaculate, the atmosphere too extraordinary for description. It was not overcrowed nor were the pool areas overly busy. I too stayed at the Diamond head tower, while the rooms were older and they... more

We stayed at the "village" (a good word for this as there are so many people). There was never a time that people were not streaming into this resort of some 3300 total rooms. The pools were limited in seating - if you like going to the mall at christmas and waiting for a parking space then you will enjoy... more

The hotel grounds are beautifully laid out with duck ponds and even penguins, and it is wonderful to be able to just walk out to the Waikiki beach for sunrise and sunset. The beach is of course public, like all the beaches in Hawaii, but it is nice to have it at your doorstep. The front desk staff were friendly.... more

We stayed in the Lagoon tower as an amazing honeymoon gift from my husband's father. We tend to like places a little more "off the beaten path" but this was a beautiful resort. We enjoyed having our own kitchen, as food can be very pricey. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. The room was big and... more

My wife and I will never stay there again. The nightly outdoor musical performances echoed throughout the place until 11pm every night, sounding as if we had a hawaiian frat party in our room. We spoke to the hotel management, as well as members of the band. No one seemed to care about tired pregnant people who are jet lagged... more

The villiage is very nice overall, however, if you stay there, be prepared to pay a premium for everything. This hotel group is obviously attracting guests with a low room rate, but when you arrive, you must pay an additional fee to use even the basics such as the safe in the room! Also, we noticed that the coffee drinks... more

Unforgettable experience. The hotel is wonderful with it's different little areas and shops. Very clean beach, helpful and friendly staff. Probably one of the nicest resorts on the island. The rooms were clean and we had a wonderful view of the ocean from the Rainbow Tower. The food was excellent and beautifully arranged...wonderful breakfast buffet. more

Hotel grounds were nice on arrival, however when checked into our room we found it to be a twin room - not good when this is your honeymoon! We managed to get a double room eventually, however it was small and rather dated. Also it was in the furthest bulding from the beach and the large pool. This buidling did... more
