Since we were in the hotel last they have refreshed the rooms and changed some of the furniture. This does not mean the rooms have been renovated, just minor changes but the carpets were new. The hotel is in great shape for an older property. The views and the quiet location near the Ala Moana Mall are great. Lots of places... More

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and it fulfilled our needs well. Our room was large, clean and functional with a fully operating Japanese toilet. The view of the harbour was lovely and a great place from which to photograph the sunset as the windows open. Coffee making equipment was available but rather oddly (and unnecessarily) displayed in... More

Stayed in an Ilima club room on a high floor. Benefits included complimentary wifi, turndown, newspapers and use of the lounge on the 5th floor. The main lounge manager made us extremely welcome every time we came by for the good complimentary breakfasts and evening drinks and snacks. The quality of welcome and friendliness seemed to be part of the... More

This hotel is not artfully decorated or hip or staffed with beautiful people. But it is comfortable, efficient and the location could not be better. Our suite was huge with ginormous windows overlooking the water. I've rarely had the chance to see a more vivid sunset. And you can actully open the windows which is rare for a hotel. The... More

We were only here for one night before heading to Maui. - We had a flight that landed early which meant we were at the hotel at 7am. We had to pay an extra USD 30 to check in at 10am as normal check in was only at 3pm. - No free wifi in rooms (had to pay USD 25/day... More

This is our second stay at the Prince in three years. Don’t expect ultra luxury at the Prince but it is way above a budget hotel. The best parts about the Prince is that all of the rooms have a view of the ocean, the location (especially if you like shopping at Ala Moana), and a complimentary shuttle to Waikiki... More

This is a fairly large hotel in 2 towers facing the Waikiki beach small boat harbor. It is not a mega hotel with lots of shops etc. It is conveniently located on the north end of the beach. Had an upgraded ocean view room with a view to the south of the Hilton beach area and to the north Ala... More

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite, as we did last year in early December. Even though the last time we were a bit disappointed in the cleanliness of the room, we gave it another shot. This time we were delighted to stay in a very clean suite on the 20th floor. For me cleanliness is my number one requirement,... More

Only stayed for one night post cruise on our way home. Bookings for hotels are expensive around the Christmas period so we were surprised when we found this one at the price. We arrived at 9.30am and check in time was the usual 3.00pm. We were offered an immediate available room for an additional $30 which we again thought was... More

Our family of 4 adults booked a 2 bedroom suite for 2 nights between Xmas and New Year - rather expensive, however no more so than other places this time of year and it was one of a few properties that offered a 2 bedroom suite for fewer than 5 nights at this time of year. On arrival we were... More
