I spent a week on Waikiki while interviewing for a position with the university. The check in staff was very courteous and accommodating. The hotel is well maintained. The rooms could've been vacuumed a bit better, but for the most part the rooms were clean. The turn down service was a nice touch. The view from the window of the... More

This is a very nice hotel to stay at. It was my first stay on there property, and had a very nice experience. Right in the start of Waikiki. Very convenient location. Ala Moana Shopping Center is a short 5 minute walk.

We just spent the last two weeks in Oahu and Maui and ended up staying at four different hotels. This was by far our favourite. Excellent view, comfortable bed, CLEAN, the staff were really friendly and the cherry on top was because we booked through Expedia, we had the choice of either free parking or free internet. Plus, no ridiculous... More

The Hawaii Prince was the perfect place to start my island adventure. I stayed in a club level room for four nights. The room had a gorgeous view and an incredibly comfortable bed. It's in a quieter area yet a quick walk to all the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and Ala Moana shopping. One of the aspects of the... More

This hotel continues to provide excellent service; it's the people that make it exceptional. Beginning with and ending with the Valet service, George and crew are awesome. They keep us coming back for more! The front desk and housekeeping is also great!

While I have had many memorable stays at the Tokyo Prince Hotel I have never been fond of the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki. The exterior architecture is Soviet Chic, looking sterile from the outside, and the property is inconveniently located on Holomoana Street with no sidewalks. It is adjacent to the derelict Waikiki Landing Project, which was abandoned due to... More

Our 3 island Hawaii honeymoon trip included 3 nights in Honolulu, mostly to see the things that I hadn't as a child when I was here last. Honolulu is even crazier and busier than I remember it, but as soon as we walked through the doors of the Hawaii Prince Hotel there was a definite calmness in the air. The... More

This being our second time staying here (first was honeymoon and now anniversary) it was nice and surprising to be greeted by "Brother Chad" both times!! All the staff is super nice and very accommodating (they even went as far as to give us the same room from our honeymoon!!). The rooms have huge windows and the tops open completely... More

You can walk to Ala Moana Shopping Center. The view from the hotel room is grand, overlooking the Ala Wai Boat Harbor and Magic Island. So the locatiobpn is great. You are not in the. Center of Waikiki, to me, the quieter part, with easier access, not having to fight Waikiki traffic.

If you're looking for a boisterous, kid-friendly, resort-like atmosphere this is not the place for you. The Hawaii Prince Hotel is sophisticated in its deferential treatment (not uninterested, just politely deferential) of its guests and it doesn't seem to attract the throngs of super-needy boisterous family guests that are more the residents of spots closer to the main beach. The... More
