You can walk to Ala Moana Shopping Center. The view from the hotel room is grand, overlooking the Ala Wai Boat Harbor and Magic Island. So the locatiobpn is great. You are not in the. Center of Waikiki, to me, the quieter part, with easier access, not having to fight Waikiki traffic.

Been retired for awhile but still do a bit of consulting when the gig is interesting and lucrative. Recently a former client was in Honolulu and asked to meet with me for a couple of hours to strategize. He was staying at the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki which is walkable from our condo so I agreed. I had never been... More

If you're looking for a boisterous, kid-friendly, resort-like atmosphere this is not the place for you. The Hawaii Prince Hotel is sophisticated in its deferential treatment (not uninterested, just politely deferential) of its guests and it doesn't seem to attract the throngs of super-needy boisterous family guests that are more the residents of spots closer to the main beach. The... More

I just returned from my stay at "the Prince" this year. They are currently celebrating their 25th Anniversary. It always amazes me that the quality of their staff and services continues to represent the "Aloha Spirit." Each person on their teams will greet you with a smile and an "Aloha." On one of my recent trips, I had the pleasure... More

Overall a great stay. We loved the location with easy access to the beach and walking distance to many stores and restaurants. We took the free shuttle from the hotel further down Waikiki beach but quickly discovered the beach closer to the hotel was more family friendly and generally more enjoyable for us. The hotel was clean and the staff... More

I've been going to Hawaii Prince Hotel over 12 years and it has always been the same experience.....GREAT! The rooms are super clean and spacious. The food is amazing! I love the burgers, clubhouse and their buffets at Prince Court is awesome. The popular Hakone restaurant is always a great option when dining at the Hawaii Prince Hotel. Cocktails at... More

This hotel is located at one end of the waikiki strip and when we arrived the outside looks very nice. However, the rooms need a rapid revamp, they look like they are getting run down quite a lot. On the other hand, the bed was very comfortable and large so made for a very good nights sleep. The rooms where... More

Great staff and wonderful rooms. Will stay there again. Bellman are extremely knowledgeable and are there for whatever you need. I enjoyed the location because it was on the edge of the hustle and bustle of downtown Honolulu. Easy walking to to wonderful beaches and incredible restaurants.

We are a local family that decided to "staycation" for a weekend and chose the Hawaii Prince Hotel because of its reasonable prices, great reputation, and convenient location at the entrance to Waikiki. We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite and the amenities were amazing! The suite was huge, the view was fabulous (I believe all of the rooms have ocean... More

If I had written this review at the beginning of my stay, I would probably only have given a 3 star rating, but by the end of my stay I was actually pleased to have stayed here. I got this hotel through Priceline at a decent price for Honolulu. I wrote to the reservation desk requesting 2 beds, as I... More
