Booked one night @ priceline. Location is one of the greatest things about the Hawaii Prince. It's on the entrance of Waikiki rather than being situated in the middle of it, which means easier access getting into the property; it can sometimes take 20 minutes just getting into the middle of Waikiki from Ala Moana so you save a lot... more
the people were so nice and ready to help. especially the bell hops. the view was okay, the boats were kind of nice to look at, but it would've been better to have it on a beach. and our room had a balcony, which was a nice touch. the only down side was the beds...... they are hard as rocks.... more
We stayed here the entire time we were on this island. Our room overlooked the bay and the view was really nice. The glass elevators are a bit scarry for me as we were up on floor 14, but other than that the staff was always very nice, the car guys always nknew our names and asked how our trip... more
After alot of research and planning we finally decided to stay at the Hawaii Prince. We stayed for 8 nights and had a great time. Our room was on the 29th floor and it was a smoking room. This hotel was incredible. I loved staying here. It was my first visit to hawaii and I absolutely loved the atmosphere and elegance of this hotel. Clean, beautiful and warming. A joyful visit. :) more

I felt the hotel itself though was dated but otherwise, still upscale if you compare it to a Holiday Inn. more
I love the fact that this location is a bit away from what other reviewers call the "action". It is a few minutes walk from the mall, where I found a japanese food court on the upper level, in addition to the food places on the lower level: great bento boxes, sushi, soba noodles, yams and salads. We bought five... more

I would definitely stay there again. It's not part of the " Waikiki" strip which is a zoo, but close enough. The hotel has a very attractive, elegant lobby, restaurants, cafes, etc and is well staffed. Employees are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There is a separate desk to recommend and book activities/ reservations, etc. The rooms are large, airy, attractive... more
