THIS HOTEL HAS THE GREATEST LOCATION.BUT, BUT,they should go for a complete refurbishment asap.It is outmoded out dated and out of time. The decor may have been around since adam mysteriously appeared. The sink wouldn't even hold water. One further thing, they have a notice that says that unless you are a guest you are not allowed in the rooms. What would... More

We were a group of 6 and the price was right. The beds were good and the shower pressure was great but the best part was the welcome. After a long trip to meet a man like Lave, it is why we are writing a review. Lave is a man for all seasons.

I had a great visit just a week ago, (end of April to May 2nd), I went alone. The only thing that was a bit hard to deal with at first is the very old elevator and it is small (but I was ok with that as I needed to slow down from my very busy life). So if you... More

Read a lot of mixed reviews so didn't go in expecting much. Rooms were average - nothing to write home about. The bed was super comfy, but was pretty soft so by the end of the week it wasn't our fave place to lay anymore lol. The staff were amazing. So friendly and super helpful. The location is what makes... More

Hotel going through major remodel this summer to become high end suites. Room was clean. Front desk clerks were very nice, very helpful. Ocean view room has a huge tree blocking your view of the ocean. You can see the ocean and the beach, but not a fantastic view. You are on the main strip of Waikiki so if you... More

We stayed for 6 nights. Hotel is right across the street from Waikiki Beach. You really can't beat the view for under $200 per night including tax and parking. We had a Deluxe ocean view room. Which meant we were on a higher floor. Our room was on the 10th floor with a lanai that faced the ocean. We could... More

I almost didn't book this hotel after reading so many unfavourable reviews, I certainly arrived expecting the worst and not even hoping for the best, but rather simply realising that at least the location would be great. I was happy with what I found awaiting me. This place is not for those expecting 5 Star luxury, but surely no one... More

We all know that Waikiki is super expensive. But that doesn't mean poor people can't go too. So here's the lowdown on The Aston Beachside a nice hotel in our budget range. This is an older hotel with a very nice staff. The room is small and dark mostly because there were no windows. Okay there was one window next to... More

I have stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. The best thing about this place is the location. In front of Duke statue in Waikiki Beach with everything really close. Unbeatable! But that's all!!! The biggest issue was the noise from the street. I was on the 5 floor with door closed and I felt like I was on the... More

Thank you for taking the time to reflect on your recent stay with us at the Aston Waikiki Beachside Hotel. As stated in your review, we are in a prime location on Kalakaua Avenue, right across from famous Waikiki beach. Therefore, there is a lot of noise, especially early morning, as delivery trucks work their way down Kalakaua Avenue delivering... More
